He rolled his eyes towards his daughter who was winching in pain. He eyed Deep and held him by collars hard. He shouted at the highest peak of his voice "himmat bhi kaise ki tumne meri beti ko belt se maarne ki"

Ruhana looked at her daughter shockingly, her head was bleeding and there were other wounds on her body. She kept her hands on her shoulder and made her stand.

"Majbur aapki beti ne hi kiya hai humhe" Yamini said shamelessly.

RuVi were shocked to hear her words. Ruhana said angrily "Yaminiji.. Koi bhi galti itni badi nahi hoti hai jo aap log iss tarah se maar peet kar rahe hai meri beti ke saath"

Vineet pushes away Deep hard, he glanced at Manvi and moves to her. She cries and hugs him tightly. He placed his hand on her head and consoled her.

His other hand reached her back and she winched in pain, he removed his hand and it turned red. He was filled with mixed emotions, he was shocked that the person who promised to protect his daughter was hitting her. 

He glanced at Deep and his family with teary eyes as a father's trust is broken. Deep took a step towards them, Manvi parted the hug and hides behind her mother scared. 

Ruhana stared at him with firing eyes, Vineet pulled him back and gave a hard push "door raho meri beti se tum"

"Aapki beti nahi hai! Meri biwi hai samjhe aap... jab aapne kanyadaan kiya tha ussi din se aapka haq nahi aapki beti par" Deep said angrily.

Vineet stared at him and spoke "kanydaan kiya tha.. Bechi nahi thi apni beti tumhe! Samjhe"

"Vineetji.. Ladke waale hai hum toh awaaz neechi rakhiye apni" Ankush said crossing his arms across his chest.

Yamini further said "kya aap log aa jaate hai apni beti ke sasural mein?"

"Aana padta hai Yaminiji.. Agar nahi aate na toh aapka asli roop hamare samne nahi aata" Ruhana said still maintaining her calm.

"Sab aapki beti ki galti hai.. Bheja tha ghar isko aapke paise laane lekin khali haath laut aayi.." Yamini exclaimed.

RuVi were shocked to know the reality. All the while their daughter had been lying to them. Ruhana glanced at Manvi, who had held her arm tightly in fear.

Her wounds are screaming and proving how much they have tortured her for the dowry. Ruhana thanked God for showing them the reality. She recalls...

A few hours ago, Vineet returned home from the office, he sits on the couch and hides his face in between his hands. He was tensed, Ruhana came out of the kitchen and she sees him tensed "Vineet.."

He looks up at her, she hands him the glass of water. He takes it and keeps it on the table.

"Kya hua?? Pareshan kyun ho?" she asked.

He takes out the letter and hands it to her. She takes it and reads it, she was left shocked reading it.

"Manvi ne apni puri savings khali kardi hai.. Bank waalo ne kaha tha agar 2 din mein amount deposit nahi kiya toh account band kar denge" Vineet said.

"Kya?? Aisi kya zaroorat padi jo usne saare paise withdraw kar liye?" Ruhana questioned.

"Pata nahi Ruu... mujhe usse baat karni hogi.." Vineet said.

Ruhana gets worried, is their daughter hiding a big secret from them? Vineet fears his thoughts turning into a sad reality.

"Ye withdraw usne ghar pe aane se pehle kiya tha Ruu.." he said.

Ruhana checks the letter and sees the date of debited amount. He takes out his phone and was about to call her but Ruhana stops him.

He gave her a questionable look, she denies "phone mat karo.. Wo phirse jhooth kah degi humhe jaake dekhna hoga"

"Ruu.. iss waqt" he asked.

"Haa.. mujhe aaj hi apne sawalo ke jawab chahiye.. Tum bhi pareshan rehte ho please chalo" she requests.

Vineet nods and they decided to pay a surprise visit to their daughter.

Vineet smiles sarcastically "yahan aaye they beti se milne.. Nahi pata tha itna bada jhatka lagega..."

"Dekh liya na aapni beti ko? Abhi aap log jayie" Deep said.

Ruhana turns to Manvi and scolds her "kya hai ye mannu?? Kyun nahi bataya tune kuch humhe?? Kyun sah rahi hai inka ye attyachar haan?"

Manvi lowers her head, her mind had stopped working. Vineet moves to her and confronts her "Beta uss din ghar aayi thi toh kyun nahi bola sach haan?" tears brims down his eyes.

Yamini smiles and said "Chalyie daant liya aapne usko.. Abhi jayie yahan se"

Manvi didn't want her parents to leave her in this hell. She held her arm tightly, Ruhana places her hand on hers and assured her she is with her.

"Jaa rahe hai.. Lekin apni beti ko saath leke jayenge" Vineet said firmly.

Everyone was shocked hearing that, Deep shouted "patni hai meri... aap usko kahi nahi leke jaa sakte hai"

"Patni hai toh patni ki tarah treat karna chahiye tha tumhe!! Yuh janwaro ki tarah pesh nahi aate uske saath" he shouted.

The neighbours gathered around to see the scenario. Yamini pretends "bhaisab.. Bacho mein toh chota mota jhadga hota rehta hai bache apne aap suljha lenge"

Ruhana was shocked at her changed tone, she can't blame Manvi as these people change their personalities accordingly. She understood, why Manvi didn't reveal anything thinking it will be hard for them to trust her. 

She sees the neighbours gathering and shouted "jhadga nahi aapka beta meri beti ko maar raha tha..."

"Aisa kuch nahi hua" Deep said as he saw neighbours.

Yamini moved to the neighbour and said "Aap hi batayie.. Kya beti ke sasural mein mayke waalo ka dhakal dena sahi hota hai?"

"Ji nahi.." she denied.

Ruhana asked "aur bahu ko dahej ke liye pitna sahi hota hai??"

The neighbours were silent... "meri beti ek pal bhi iss ghar mein nahi rahegi" she said clearly.

"Ye aap kya kah rahi hai?? Iss tarah se beti ko ghar leke jaana thik nahi hai.. Dahej toh pratha hai na jitna maang rahe hai de dijiye... baat yahi khatam kijiye" one of them said.

Vineet was shocked at this, he realised he had done a big mistake. He said "dahej shaadi pe diya jaata hai uske baad nahi.. Chaliye main de dunga ye jo bhi kah rahe hai kya aap gurantee denge meri beti pe phirse haath nahi uthega?? Inka lalach kum nahi hoga?"

Everyone exchanged glances...

Prerna's husband steps forward and said "Vineet ji.. Roj shyam main ghumne nikalta hun aur aapki beti ki cheek mujhe sunayi deti hai... aap apni beti ko yahan se leke jayie"

Vineet sighed deeply "galti aapki bhi hai! Aap logo ne jhooth kaha humse.. Ye log bilkul bhi lalchi nahi hai... meri beti ka ye jo haal hai iske zimmedar aap log bhi hai aur aapki yeh soch hai" he shouted.

"hum bas.." he tried to explained

"agar aapne uss din hi sab sach bata diya hota hai toh aaj jo maine dekha wo mujhe nahi dekhna padta! Aapki chupi ne dekhiye kya haal kiya hai meri bachi hai.."  Vineet rages on top of his lungs. A father was wounded today.

Deep said "Manvi.. Tum patni ho meri.. Iss ghar se kahi nahi jaogi tum samjhi"

Manvi stared at him, she was so frightened. Vineet moves to him and said "meri beti hai.. Aur mere saath wapas apne ghar jayegi! Dusron baap ki tarah uske haal pe nahi chodunga use marne ke liye... uski arthi uthani pade aisi naubit nahi aayegi samjhe tum!"

Ruhana held Manvi's hand and begans to take her out of the house. Yamini blocks her way and said "aap iss tarah meri bahu ko nahi leke jaa sakti hai..."

"Yaminiji.. Meri beti ka stree dhan aap apni beti ko de chuki hai.. Lekin meri beti ki jaan main aapko nahi lene dungi! Mujhe farak nahi padta duniya kya kahegi lekin ek aur kharoch main apni beti pe nahi aane dungi" she spoke and pushed her away. Ruhana walks out of the house and Vineet follows them.

Deep again stops them "ruk jao Manvi.. Warna"

Vineet turns and fumes in anger, he places his hands on his neck and pushes him against the wall. He shouted "warna kya?? Mere saamne meri beti ko dhamka rahe ho?? Haath ukhad ke fhek dunga"

Deep gets scared hearing his words, and Ruhana makes Manvi sit inside the auto. She goes to Vineet and held his hand "Vineet chodo jaane do"

His anger was justified, past 25 years he had protected his daughter. Didn't let anyone touch her and this bloody man ruined her soul. He wanted to kill him but Ruhana calms him down "shant ho jao Vineet... chodo usko"

However, he didn't listened to her. Ruhana requests him "Vineet nahi.. Humhe mannu ko sambhalna hai tum please shant ho jao"

Manvi was losing her conscious, she said in a low tone "papa"

Vineet leaves Deep with a jerk hearing his daughter's tone and walks away from there with Ruhana. They sat inside the auto and left the place. Ruhana places Manvi's head on her shoulder, tears slipping down her eyes while Vineet was also in the same condition as hers. They regretted their decision of marrying her to the wrong family and ignoring their instincts.

Vineet rolled his eyes towards his daughter and closed his eyes seeing the wounds. He doesn't know if he will ever be able to correct the mistake that ruined his daughter's life.
