You will need to defend yourself from the Undead. Get melee and ranged weapons. Get plenty of food and water. Get enough of supplies to last a long time. Barricade your doors and windows, use silent weapon. Stay away from cities and large settlements. Travel light, only take absolute necessities. Form a group with trustworthy people. Never throw away your weapons if you only have a spear or something. Always travel during the day. Never take on a large group of the Undead, you will die in most cases. If you are bitten in any non vital areas just cut off that area.
