Nico just sighed as he looked at the giant wall. He knew breaking and entering especially right now during this pandemic was wrong, but he knew that this family had the passes he needed.

He had tried to ask them the nice way for the passes by offering to pay for them like their other customers, but instead of trying to help they had sent him off to be killed.

Nico couldn't lose Sara and Mal; they were his family and all he had left. And Mal was just a baby. If he didn't get these passes, who knows what's going to happen to her.

He just couldn't lose his family. Nico just took a deep breath as he prepared himself to climb over the giant wall, but to his luck the gate opened up allowing him to just quickly sneak through.

"Okay Nico you can do this. You're doing this for Sara and Mal," Nico quietly told himself in motivation as he made it to the door. He was about to grab a rock and smash his way in when to his luck again the door was already unlocked.

Which allowed him to easily just slide it open and quietly enter the house to look for the passes he would need to save his family.

While Nico was breaking into the Griffin's house to try and get the passes Sara was trying her best to stay calm as she prepared herself for the storm that was coming her way. She wanted to just cry though when she could see all the flashing lights and the yellow sanitation crew and she just knew her baby was probably terrified right now.

"It's okay Sara, you're doing this to protect her. She's going to be okay and you're going to be okay too. We're going to get through this," Sara whispered to herself as she glanced back and looked over at where she was hiding Mal and she could just feel the fear that Mal was going through right now.

Sara just closed her eyes as she tried to hold back some tears. She wanted nothing more than to just run over to that hiding spot and comfort her baby. The thought that her sweet little girl was probably shaking and terrified right now and she couldn't hold her close and tell her it would be okay was just painful and killing her inside.

Sara knew that she had to do this though. It was her only way to guarantee that if she did get caught at least Mal would be safe and that was enough for her. Sara quickly looked away from where she was hiding Mal as she immediately turned her focus back to what was going on as she grabbed her phone.

"Okay Sara you can handle this," Sara told herself inside her head as she quickly tried to call Nico for help but unfortunately he didn't pick up. Sara wasn't going to give up though she just quickly took a picture of the sanitation truck just as she heard the sanitation crew at her door.

Once she took the picture she immediately took off running trying her best to not get caught. Sara really hated doing this but she wasn't going down without a fight. Just as she could hear the door being kicked down and her home raided, Sara frantically picked up what she was looking for as she hid and prepared herself for what she was about to do.

While Sara was trying her best to protect them the tiny toddler was trying her best to do what Sara told her to, but it was hard. She didn't like how scary it was in the dark and all the noises were terrifying as well.

Mal just wanted out and she wanted Sara to hold her. "I wa ow! I wa ow! Sawa I wa ow!" The young girl cried out from her hiding spot but unfortunately for Mal but luckily for Sara no one could hear Mal's screams from that spot.

Mal was about to really make herself known when she remembered Sara's words and she knew that she couldn't. Mal didn't want to upset Sara and it was obvious that the older girl would be very upset if Mal broke her rules.

Normally the small girl would have no trouble breaking her big sister's rules especially right now when she was terrified about what was going on as she could hear people and voices that she had never heard before and the voices all sounded scary as well. However Mal also knew that she trusted Sara and if Sara told her she was safe here then she believed her.

Mal just closed her eyes as she clung tightly to her new dragon and just imagined that she was safe. The young toddler began to cry again though when she realized that this wasn't helping at all as she just wanted Sara right now.

She needed Sara to hold her close and tell her that everything was going to be okay, but Sara had just left her here and that was scary. Mal had no clue what was going on but everything seemed scarier than it used to.

Mal continued to try and be as brave as she could but after a few more minutes of trying to comfort herself and failing she just couldn't take it anymore as she started wailing.

"SAWA! SAWA! SAWA! I SCAWEW I WA OW! I SCAWEW! I WA OW!" The small toddler screamed out at the top of her lungs causing Sara to freeze while the main man in charge seemed to be catching on.

"What is that awful sound? You go check on whatever that sound is," the man in charge told Sara who he thought was one of his workers after she had managed to knock one out and take his suit. Sara knew it was wrong, but it was her only chance to escape right now.

Sara just slowly nodded as she went over to the piano and lifted it slightly so no one else could see. As soon as Mal saw the yellow suit and the hazmat mask peek in she was about to scream even louder until Sara managed to slightly unzip it and lift the mask so Mal could see her.

"Hey Mal it's okay it's just me. You're doing amazing sweetie. I'm so proud of you. I know it's really scary but it'll be over soon okay. Now what's going to happen next is I'm going to go and pretend I'm part of the scary crew and you're gonna stay here until Nico comes. He's gonna take care of you until I can get away again," Sara whispered as quietly as she could to the young girl who just slowly nodded even though she had no clue what Sara was really talking about.

"Okay good. I'll see you soon okay sweetie. I love you so much," Sara whispered to Mal as she grabbed her tiny hand and held it close before quickly putting the lid and mask back down and zipping her suit back when she saw the man starting to get suspicious.

"Well did you see anything!" The man in charge screamed out causing Sara to just shake her head no. "Ugh great must just be hearing things then. Just get over here and help the others," the older man told Sara who just nodded again as she joined the others. Sara didn't want to do this at all, but if she refused he would find out the truth and she would be caught.

Finally after what felt like forever the scary loud noises seemed to go away making Mal start to relax a little bit as she thought she was finally safe but just as the small girl was about to come out from her hiding spot the piano lid was lifted again and she was met with the sight of the scary man she was hearing.

"Bingo found you! I knew she was hiding something!" The sanitation man called out as he picked Mal up by her shirt and dragged her out, making Mal terrified as she started screaming and crying at the top of her lungs again.

"Oh scream all you want. No one's gonna save you. It's just you and me here," the older man told the toddler who just continued to kick and scream as she didn't trust this man and she wanted Sara back or even Nico.

"I wa Sawa! I wa sawa! I wa Sawa!" Mal screamed out at the top of her tiny lungs as her face went red from all her screaming and crying making the man just laugh as he was enjoying this.

"Oh I'm sorry, Saras gone now. It's okay you will be soon too," the man told Mal who just shook her head no as she spit her pacifier out at him and bit him.

"We me go!" Mal screamed out again making the man more angry. "Oh you little brat you're gonna regret that!" The man screamed out as he lifted the tiny girl up higher by her shirt making Mal cry even louder.
