Flashback to last episode
We were just about to leave when the headmaster showed up.

"Listen up brats! I have an announcement~!"

"The school is going to have a tournament! If you're confident in your magical abilities, join it! The winning House will receive 500 points towards the house race, and we all want those points! The tournament will be in teams of two, and you can have inter-house teams, but it may be split points if you win." The headmaster said.

Everyone in the Great Hall started murmuring, only to be silenced by the headmaster's staff, which he was slamming against the rose marble flooring.

"I wasn't finished!" He shouted. "To kick off the tournament, we are going to have a commemorative ball! The people you choose as your date, should you choose to enter the tournament, will be your tournament partner! Not everyone has to participate! Now you can start chatting." He said, walking off.

"Oh my Godcat! This is perfect!" I hear Aramis shout, before he turned to me....that couldn't be good.

"You're dancing with Nosmas!" He shouted...yup...wasn't good at all.

"Wh-wh-wh...." Was all I could get out....the prospect of dancing with Nosmas was both nauseating, but exciting as well. "I can't dance." I whisper, hoping it would be a good enough excuse to get the prince to drop his topic.

"Neither can I." Alex says, she's staring at someone, but I couldn't tell who.

"That's okay, I'll teach the both of you how to dance! Meet me after my music class tomorrow, we have a free period, so I'll teach you then!" Gosh, I didn't like the mischievous sparkle in his eyes when he said that....maybe it was more nauseating after all.

We brought back food for Nosmas, spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. And a slice of triple chocolate cake. Aramis conveniently said he needed to go work on his music, and asked if I could bring it to Nosmas. After reminding him of curfew, I had the daunting task of taking the food to Nosmas.

I stood outside his door, food in hand, and just stared at it. I brought my hand up to the door, and gently rapped my knuckles against the polished oak door. What did I just do...

He called out, saying he'd be there in a second, before he opened the door, a book in his hand.

"Aramis you have the key for it don't you?" He asked before looking up. He made eye contact, and the book simply fell from his hands as he took a step back. "A-Akuma...what a p-pleasant surprise." He said and the book flew up onto a shelf beside the door.

I took a step inside, and held out the food. "Aramis told me to give this to you...and said he'd be back before curfew." I whispered, holding out the plates and looking at my shoes.

I could feel him taking the plates and setting them down somewhere, I was about to shuffle out when I felt his fingers on my chin. I'm surprised I stayed conscious through my hearts three skipped beats. He gently turned my face so that I was looking straight into his dark brown eyes. I could feel my blood rushing to my head, and was sure I was blushing like crazy.

"Hey...thank you, for bringing the food." He said softly, and I saw that he was blushing too.

And then he started leaning forward.

I freaked out. What was happening?! Was he going to kiss me? Why was he leaning forward!? More blood was rushing too my head as I tried to calculate all the reasons he was leaning forward. All I did was close my eyes, but I could feel his face giving off heat, and could tell he was only inches away, when he suddenly backed up, and I opened my eyes.

"S-Sorry for the sudden intimacy." He mumbled, holding up the book he was reading. "I had to retrieve my book." He said before walking over to his bed, and preparing the food in a microwave that was in the room. "Thanks again for the food Akuma, I really appreciate it." He said before looking up and smiling at me. My heart skipped another beat...

"No problem." I whispered, before bowing, and turning to leave. Out of the corner of my eye I thought he winked at me...but that wasn't possible, it must've been my imagination. Even so, it made my heart feel like bursting out of my chest.

I exited the room and closed the door, placing my hand over my heart. I could feel it thumping furiously...wait. Could he hear it when he was getting his book?! Oh gods what if he did?! He must know I like him now!

I sprinted to the girls dormitory and into the room I shared with Alex and Luna, who both looked at me like I was crazy. As we got ready for bed I told them the story, only to be met with...how did Luna phrase it? Anime fan girling.

I got under my covers that night, and soon fell asleep, the whole time thinking about Nosmas' smiling face. I think I fell asleep red and smiling myself.

Alex and I stood outside music room 3, where Aramis had told us too meet him.

"Is this a good idea?" I asked Alex, who shrugged.

"What could go wrong?" She responded. Immortal last words.

Students started filling out carrying their instruments, and Aramis walked out with three people behind him. He had a small case, which he told us carried an orb he used to summon his instrument, which was a harp apparently. Aiko was behind him, carrying the case to a flute. Nosmas was behind him as well, with a violin ca~. NOSMAS WAS BEHIND HIM?! And one other guy was behind him. I didn't recognize him however though. He was slightly shorter than Aramis, and had slightly messy dark brown hair, with one lock of it out from the top of his head, and bending back. He wore white jeans, brown dress shoes, a white dress shirt, dark purple tie, and a red sleeveless vest with gold buttons. He had stunning teal eyes and a charming smirk. In his hands was a guitar case.

Aramis smiled at us. "Good! You two showed up! I'm sorry, I have to teach two other people along with you two. So, what better way than this! Alexandra, Akuma, meet your two dance partners!" He gestured to the two boys. "William, you will be partnered with Alexandra. William is from Gerald house, he's Aiko's friend." Aramis stated, nudging William towards Alex, to which he smiled, and winked at her. "Nosmas, you'll be dancing with Akuma." He said, literally shoving him towards me.

I'm assuming that stupid prince doesn't know how strong he is...or maybe he did it on purpose, but Nosmas kinda tackled me.

He both fell to the ground, with Nosmas barely able to catch himself and prop himself up on his elbows. I slowly opened my eyes, and saw that he was hovering over me, our faces inches apart again.

We both blushed like there was no tomorrow, until Nosmas got up, and helped me up as well.

"How do we keep getting into such situations?" He asked me.

"Well, there is one thing in common." I said as I glared at Aramis, who tried to pull off his best 'who, me?' face, trying to look innocent when I knew he was guilty.

"And to demonstrate, I will be dancing with Aiko." He said quickly, with both me and Alex smirking at him knowingly.

Throughout the free period Aramis taught us how to dance everything ranging from the foxtrot to salsa. And then it came to the most dreaded style of dance I was hoping we'd never have to do. Slow dancing.

"Ok! So, for this one, you want to hold one hand, and ladies, place the other on your partner's shoulder, men, your free hand goes on their waist." Aramis said, demonstrating, and receiving a slight shiver when Aiko put her hand on his shoulder, her fox ears twitching slightly. (A/N I don't know if I mentioned it earlier, but along with her tails, she has fox ears. Also blonde with pink dyed tips. And before I forget, her tail, when she's not walking, splits into nine identical ones, and when she walks, they condense into one again.)

"Their what?!" All four of us shouted.

"Their waist." Aramis repeated, turning slightly pink from his extended contact with Aiko.

Will didn't seem to have much of a problem after that, gently placing his hand on Alex's waist, and flashing her a charming smile.

Nosmas was a whole different story though. He looked like he was debating on wether or not to do it or not, before I sighed and placed his hand on my waist for him. I don't know where the courage came from, but I did it.

Aramis taught us the dance, and just like the name, it was slow. He had brought along a large magical orb, which played music so that we could dance to it.

Half way through the dance, Aiko gently rested her head on Aramis' chest, which caused him to turn bright red, and his fluctuating eyes to start shifting only in shades of purple. Her fox ears twitched every now and then, and I assume she was picking up on Aramis' thundering heartbeat.

I laughed to myself, if he didn't want her to know he liked her, it was too late now. Only an idiot wouldn't be able to tell the signs. I allowed myself a small smile, that quickly disappeared when I felt something on the side of my temple.

Aiko and Aramis were taller than the rest of us were, but Aramis was taller still, which allowed Aiko plenty of space to place her head on his chest.

Alex, Nosmas, and I were around the same height, and William was taller than Alex. So when she followed Aiko's lead, it was easy for her to place her head on William's chest as well. An action which caused William to smile broadly and give Aiko a thumbs up.

Nosmas was only slightly taller than I was, so I didn't try to do what the others did. I guess I hadn't realized it, but apparently I did try to place my head on his shoulder, which worked.

I could feel Nosmas stiffen slightly, but we kept dancing, and after the initial shock wore off, I could feel him rest his head on mine. That small action caused me to smile, and for warmth to flood through my entire body. Nosmas made me feel...different. I knew what happiness was, but this was on another level...I liked it.

I saw Aramis and William gently rest their chins on their partner's head, closing their eyes. And well after the song ended, we all stayed like that, merely savoring each other's presence.

Maybe after a minute, I lifted my head, and made eye contact with Nosmas. Both of our cheeks were probably permanently stained pink, but we smiled at each other.

I don't know what happened, but suddenly his eyes closed, and he started leaning towards me. It was happening again, but this time there was no shelf behind me. OH GOD!!! HE WAS ACTUALLY GOING TO KISS ME!!!!

My eyes closed as well, and I started to close the distance. Right before our lips met however, I heard something click.

Both of us immediately opened our eyes, and took a step back from each other, looking for the source of the sound. It took me a while, but I finally found it.

Aramis had pulled out his phone, which had a set of gem colored and metallic stars on its cover, and had snapped a photo of me and Nosmas. But the idiot forgot to turn down his sound, and interrupted my moment.

"Uh....my hand slipped." He said meekly, before putting his phone away, his grip tightening on Aiko's waist, which his arm had wrapped around subconsciously. But it didn't look like she cared anyway.

I didn't know wether to be mad at Aramis, or to thank him for saving me from the embarrassment that could've followed that kiss. I didn't know wether to punch him or hug him.

So I did both.

Aramis was still complaining about me beating him up, and whined that the hug didn't make up for it. But I ignored him

That night as I got into bed, all I could think about was Nosmas. And that night, my dreams were filled with fantasies of the both of us kissing, or going on dates.
