Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Truth is I have had trouble writing the ball scene, so I'm going to put in another chapter that will make sense later on. Thanks for keeping up with this story! I promise I will work harder, though school is going to start soon!

How am I such a magnet for danger? It seems every time I turn a corner something bad happens and now it's affecting my friends as well.

Wanna here the story? Well, here we go...

We wanted to do some relaxing before the ball, have some fun before we stress out about our 'dates.' So we went to the private pool for Erwyn house. Everyone was usually too busy to use it so we practically had it all to ourselves. Everyone but William and Aiko had shown up already, and we were practically just goofing off until then.

Akuma had shown up in a dark blue one piece, and was already swimming laps, Alex had shown up in a red and gold rash guard and bikini bottom, floating. And Nosmas and I were siting off to the side, Nosmas had a black rash guard and navy swim shorts, all I wore was my regular Mage Cloak with dark jeans and a black short sleeve T-shirt.

"What were you thinking Aramis? Aren't you going to swim?" Alex asked me, after wading over to the wall.

"I don't know, I'm kinda not really interested in swimming. There could be lots of bacteria in it." I stated, pulling out a book.

"Oh come on, Aiko's going to think you're a stiff. Go change." Akuma stated, drawing up beside Alex and peering at me and Nosmas.

"We don't even know if Aiko is able to make it so~." I was interrupted by the door to the pool opening, and a sweet voice speaking up.

"Are we late?" Aiko stepped though the entrance and I probably looked like a dope just gawking at her.

To be fair, the girl was absolutely stunning. Trust me, it takes a lot to impress a prince from looks, especially when most suitors used magic to enhance their appearance. I felt a sticky warm liquid dripping from my nose. Aiko had worn a two piece pink and white bikini, adorned with little hearts and abstract swirls. I started to feel light headed from the blood I was probably loosing.

William walked in after her in nothing but red swim trunks and a white towel around his neck, he laughed as he entered, flung off the towel and jumped into the pool, causing a massive splash. The water he landed in glowed momentarily and when he came back to where everyone was at near the wall, he smiled as he showed off the fact that he now has a shimmering, dark red fish tail. He transformed into a merman using his magic...classic.

While I was staring at Aiko, Alex had been staring at Will, the guy was ripped. Later Alex couldn't stop talking about Will's abdominal muscles or his arms, or how hot he looked when he was a merman.

Aiko smiled as she walked into the pool, she looked at me expectantly. "Aren't you coming in? Or you going to stay there?" She teased, crooking her finger, beckoning me towards her. All I could do was nod slowly, before using my magic to get rid of the jeans and cloak, leaving behind my t-shirt and a pair of blue trunks. "And you are swimming in your T-shirt?" She questioned yet again. Looking down, I sighed as I grabbed the hem of my shirt, pulling it over my head and discarding it into a pocket dimension.

When I looked up, Aiko had a hand covering her mouth, while William simply smirked while everyone else stood there, open mouthed and shocked. That simply made it better, like THAT didn't help with my discomfort of my body. I wasn't jacked like Will, but I wasn't pudgy either, you could see my abs, and I had decent arms and lateral muscles. On a scale from one to ten, I was probably a seven with William ranked at an eight, I wasn't that far off.

Trying to forget my worries, I jumped into the pool, summoning a geyser of water to erupt from the surface, allowing me to sit down neatly while still being in the pool. The others kept trying to climb up, Nosmas and Akuma especially, but all it took was a shift in the stream, it would cause a smaller stream of water to push them off of my column of water.

We all had good fun for quite a while, and Aiko had managed to take me off of the geyser by giving me a mini heart attack. She 'accidentally' got hit in the head by Akuma, and then sank under the water. I freaked out, and jumped off of my seat after here, as I panicked and pulled her back up, everyone was on top of my geyser, with help from Nosmas and Akuma.

I looked down at Aiko only for her to smile up at me cheekily, before kissing my nose and jumping off of me and onto the geyser. I don't remember the next couple of minutes afterwards, but I vaguely remember having discharged a couple minor water spirits to try to force everyone off of MY geyser.

After a while, once I got out of my 'love daze' we all decided to take a break and just float. I summoned a group illusion, allowing us to see through everything and past the roof, so that we could watch the sky. We pointed out certain clouds, discussing what we thought they looked like. And I even got my revenge, bending the illusion to make a cloud that looked like a dragon to come barreling towards us, freaking out my friends and resulting in a lot of water being splashed at me for my prank.

All of us were laughing, when he heard the door open, we all looked to see the worst person that could've ever walked through the door...

"Zenin." I growled out. "What are you doing here?" I could feel my magic flowing through my veins, my eyes becoming onyx orbs of hatred. I was about to fly out of the pool to punch him if Aiko hadn't draped her arms over my back and shoulders, clasping my hands in hers and pressing her chest into my back.

"Yeah, you aren't allowed to be in here, you aren't in Erwyn, and you don't have a connection with any of them." Aiko said, while nuzzling her cheek into my neck, further calming me with the gentle action.

"I got the password from one of your nerd friends." Zenin said, while unbuttoning his shirt, we all looked away in disgust. He was built similar to me, except his abs weren't symmetrical, and he had a dark tan, I think I saw Akuma throw up a little in her mouth.

"Get out of here, you aren't wanted." William said, moving over to Zenin to block his path into the pool.

"Oh? Well who asked you ya muscle bound idiot." Zenin growled, shoving Will back. I couldn't help but clench my fists, moving over to him after gently removing my girlfriend off of my back, missing the warmth across my back.

"What did I tell you Zenin? You want to hurt my friends? You'll have to do so over my, dead, body!" I glared at him, magic forming at the tips of my fingers.

"That can be arranged you know." Zenin smirked before a thick chain slammed into my chest, followed by those stupid cuffs. Before I could move however, they latched onto my wrists and dragged me under the water. From underneath, I could see more cuffs grabbing the others and dragging them under. Will, Akuma, and Nosmas would be fine, but Alex and Aiko would need air eventually.

I could hear that stupid laugh, that annoying, angering laugh. As I struggled more, I saw Akuma being dragged out into the water, and being pulled flush against Zenin. I couldn't tell what was being said, but it looked like Akuma was upset about something, and she slammed her forehead against Zenin's causing him to stager back. He shouted something and slapped her, hard. I could hear the resounding SMACK of the hand to the cheek.

After that however, he grabbed Akuma's head, and kissed her. I struggled even more after that, but nothing could compare to Nosmas. He was so upset, the water in the pool started to boil, I started writhing along with Alex and Aiko. Nosmas, due to his anger, managed to throw a stream of the hot water straight into Zenin's face.

As he hit the floor, the chains melted away and all of us jumped out, magic at the ready. Zenin looked up, his face a burnt tan. I didn't like the look in his eye, it was like a cornered animal, wild, and ready to do anything to escape. Then he looked at me, I really didn't like that.

"You. You're the reason why I can't be friends with anyone. So, I'll take care of you, then I'll be excepted by them!" He screamed at me, his hands covering themselves in a dark aura. "Guess what? Restriction mages like me can do a certain spell every decade. It's called the chain of death!" He throws out a Stygian Iron pike on the end of a black chain. I didn't know what to do. I was frozen to the spot, and couldn't do anything to block it.

"MAGIC GIFT: Shield!" I heard someone shout, and the pike was reflected. I had my eyes scrunched up, and only opened them when I heard someone grunt in pain. I looked around and saw William clutching his bicep, where a black cut had formed. That was the last straw, I looked at Zenin when I heard that voice again.

"MAGIC GIFT: Strength!" They said, and I felt myself rapidly gain muscle mass as I rushed Zenin. He looked to surprised to act as I decked him, and sent him flying right back into the Erwyn common room. I lost the muscle as quickly as I gained it, and felt suddenly dizzy. As I sat down, all I could focus on was if my friends were ok.

Alex was busy fussing over the cut on Will's arm, before they rushed off to see the nurse, dragging Zenin with them. Nosmas was busy consoling Akuma, in the form of a comforting hug, before he brought her into the water, where they decided to start making out under the surface. Aiko came and sat down next to me, nuzzling her body into mine, and I smiled, we were all slightly burnt, but I could tell Aiko was blushing as well.

I closed my eyes, before I heard someone clear their throat in front of me. I opened my eyes and saw a girl in our year there. She had black rimmed plastic glasses, and blue hair that started dark at the roots and slowly went lighter to the tips. She wore a dark green polo, dark blue jeans, and black boots. She stared at me like I was some sort of foreign creature, before whispering something.

"I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" I asked, tilting my head to the side to show my confusion.

"Are you ok?" She said, just barely loud enough to hear. I nodded, and she smiled softly. "Hi, my name Ikumi Satoshi, you're that Prince guy." She said, never raising her voice above barely audible.

I nodded slowly, she knew me? Why haven't I seen her before? "Well, thanks for the save, want to hang out with us sometime?" I asked, and she looked away, blushing slightly before nodding.

Later on, I was teasing Nosmas about earlier, dancing around saying 'I must protect my princess' 'only I can sanctify those bubble gum lips' and 'after I save her we'll go make out in a closet'. It was funny for a period of time, before he shouted out that he had the guts to kiss his girlfriend, that shut me up immediately, and I sat down, faking depression. I was just...waiting for the right moment, my first kiss had to be perfect, so I had to make sure it was everything I wanted, and more.

William entered our room, we gave him a spare key just in case he needed to get into our room for emergency. He had a bandage around the cut Zenin gave him, but instead of red soaking the cloth, it was black.

"Guys, I have something I need your help with." He said. "I'm~"

IM BACK IN BUSINESS GUYS! IM SO SORRY FOR THE MONTH DELAY, I HAVE BEEN BATTLING SOME INNER DEMONS LATELY, AND THEY PUT UP AND AMAZING FIGHT!

I will need your help though, instead of writing the ball scene in three chapters, I was wondering, if for the sake of time, I could condense it into a three part single chapter, comment down below if that's ok. Updates may go down to once a week, on either Saturday or Sunday once school starts up.
