Olivia's POV
I was glaring at Jason and Melody, flirting together. Then a girl with glasses butted into their conversation. I asked Sharpay who that girl was and she said that she was Cassandra, she also said that she was the daughter of Mr.Sheeran and Ms.Eliza. I was shocked by this piece of information.

When class ended, I headed straight to my locker. I was carrying a huge stack of books from my previous classes. I didn't pay attention to where I was going an walked straight into a boy wearing a leather jacket. My books went flying and one hit that boy. I recognised him as Josh. He muttered a sorry and helped me pick up my books. Luckily, he didn't notice me blushing.

Once I got back the rest of my books from him, I ran to my next class, not noticing him staring at me; obviously love-struck.

'Finally! Classes are over'. I walked to my dorm and an rushed over to my closet to pick the perfect outfit that would make Jason like me. After an hour or two, I finally found it. I couldn't wait to wear it tomorrow.

The next day, I got up early and curled my hair. Then, I put on my outfit. I had gone French schoolgirl in a white blouse under a tiny, grey vest, with a black beret, tights and my favourite high-heeled boots. I was sure he would be struck speechless.

When I got to class, I sat in my usual seat next to Melody. She complimented my outfit and I did likewise. She was wearing a teal tunic with pewter leggings and a pair of slouchy, faux-suede boots.

I could tell it was dedicated to someone so I asked exactly who. She blushed and said it was for a guy named Nick. Apparently, he was in her last class and it was love at first sight, (for her at least). I changed the topic as I could see she was getting uncomfortable.

So, I told her a funny story about my sister and her crush, Manfred. She laughed out just as class began. As soon as we got out of class, I saw Josh and Sharpay talking. He must've noticed me because he stated to walk towards me. He said I looked beautiful and I thanked him. I saw Sharpay's angry glare as she called me a fashion disaster and steered him away.

I was wondering why she did that as she was becoming a great friend to me, when I saw Jason and Melody walking in my direction. I said hi to him but he just ignored it and walked past me like I was invisible. I sniffed and ran to the bathroom. In the bathroom, I took deep breaths and plastered a big smile on my face. I got out but was blocked by Cassandra. She told me she was worried about me when she saw me run into the bathroom. I reassured her but she had a look of doubt on her face as she left.

I looked at my watch and sprinted to my English class. Thomas Brody-Sangster was teaching this class. As Melody handed out the tests, (it was a small one, but he was big on tests), I noticed Jason staring lovey-dovey at her. When she gave him his paper, he said "Thanks, cutie." She smiled uncomfortably. Suddenly, I screamed "No!", and everybody turned to look at me. I closed my mouth and ran to the bathroom.

I stayed there until class was over. I peeked through the keyhole and realised that nobody was there. So I came out and was suddenly approached by Josh., asking me what was wrong. I was caught off guard and started to scream.

When I finished screaming, and he took his fingers out of his ears, he escorted me outside. Then people from English class started to crowd around me. He told them to back off and they did. He escorted me all the way to my next class. As he left, I felt a slight liking towards him. But I ignored it as I still had feelings  for Jason, even thing he was a (cute) jerk to me.
