Owing to the difficulties of life,
Myself, I tend to forget.
My life, my choices, my passion,
In front of the family,
Everything takes a backseat.

Each day, I struggle,
To catch a glimpse of me.
I find a wife, a mother, a daughter in law,
But not the real me.

Wife, mother, daughter in law,
All are just the roles played by me
But no, they aren't the real ME.
