Making stories day and night,
I struggle to teach and feed you.
A lion, a rat, an elephant and what not,
At the spot, you want a story new!

And before I even begin,
You shout,"Not this one!"
And I have to struggle afresh
Making a story from scratch

But no matter what,
I love how you listen to me
Wide eyes, and hooked ears
And tongue continuously repeating me!

Such innocence on a face,
I just love looking at you.
But you know what the best part is?
When I stop, you step in to continue!

The way you complete my sentences,
I hope even you become a story lover
Because that's what I am
And I'd love to see my glimpse in you, my dear!
