In the midst of night
When all are sleeping tight
I wake up with a sudden urge
To have something, small or large

If it is salty, then it's fine
But if it's sweet, I'll be on cloud nine!
Without a noise, I creep out of bed
'Some sweet to eat', goes on and on in my head

But husband dear wakes up somehow
And hands me a chocolate, Oh Wow!
How he knew, only God knows
But today, he won my heart somehow!

So now I sit, enjoying my choco
And writing a poem along
Even if we have some bad days
Love always brings some good ones along!
