Chapter 22:Skipping Ahead; Part 4
Draco walked into his youngest daughters room.
"Cora? Cora, darling it's time to wake up." He said while gently shaking his little, five year old girl.
"Dad-ddyyy! I'm sleepy." She whined.
Draco chuckled.
"I know you are, my little star but today is very, very special day."
Cora sat up hugging into his torso. "Why?"
"Because some of your very favourite people are coming home today." He whispered into his baby girl's ear.
Cora sat up, excited.
"They're coming home?" She asked in her adorable voice.
"Yes they are." Draco smiled.
He too was excited, he hadn't seen his three oldest, Isla, Amelie and Scorpius since last September. As he, Hermione, Xavier and Cora decided to spend Christmas in France with his aunt and mother.
Narcissa had been released from Azkaban about six years prior and Hermione had convinced Draco to give her a second chance, to which his mother seemed to be forever grateful to Hermione for. He and his mother were closer than ever and he and Hermione had decided to name Cora after her. His mothers full name was Narcissa Cora Malfoy, his daughter was Cora Andromeda Malfoy.
His mother and aunt were going to the platform with Draco, Hermione and their two youngest to welcome the older three back home.
Draco got Cora dressed and ready to go to the platform. Having three daughters had made him very fashion forward, he had dressed Cora in muggle clothes as they would be going to dinner in a muggle restaurant after. Light blue skinny jeans with a strappy cream fringed top, gold sandels and he had a stone coloured cardigan for her in his had in case she got cold, which he doubted as it was June. He made sure his daughter was dressed to his satisfaction, or rather his older daughters satisfaction, he wouldn't be able to handle the looks he would get if Cora wasn't well dressed.
One time Isla and Amelie had sat in Cora's room for hours making, his then three year old, try on about twenty-five different outfits, by the time they had finished they had missed their dinner reservation.
Cora looked like both of her sisters in a way. Her hair was like Isla's, long, straight and blonde. While her eyes were the same piercing blue of Amelie's. She had a slightly rounder face, like Hermione's but she could do Draco's smirk better than both of her sisters.
After getting Cora ready Draco went into his ten year old, Xavier's room to help him.
Draco had pulled Xavier out of boarding school after Scorpius started at Hogwarts two years ago. This was a relief to Xavier as he wasn't fond of the all boys boarding school. He now went to a normal mixed muggle school in the neighboring town.
He had dark waved hair, cut short as he couldn't stand the longer, ear length, gelled hair his older brother had. He had stormy grey eyes and Hermione's slightly sallower skin. He by no means looked like the typical Malfoy apart from the fact that he had his fathers eyes, but it was that that made his so well known in the wizarding community. There was his two older, gorgeous sisters, his older brother who was a Draco Malfoy replica, Cora was shielded from the press, but for some reason everyone seemed to have taken a special liking to Xavier. Perhaps it was his good-looks or quiet, reserved personality, or his amazing Quidditch skills.
Xavier stood at the mirror fixing his hair, he was wearing a white, button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He had a pair of dark jeans on. He disliked his appearance. He wanted to be like his siblings. Amelie, like himself, had dark hair but she had the pale skin and blue eyes. Isla was a mix of both the Malfoys and Grangers. Scorpius had the grey-blue eyes, blonde hair, pale skin. Even Cora, in his opinion, was better looking. He was quiet, shy, reserved, bookish and completely oblivious to the media attention he got, that his parents had been observing for years.
Hermione and Draco were often worried about their youngest sons lack of confidence. He was by all means brave, selfless and courageous, like a true Gryffindor which they were expecting him to be, since the age of six he was the first one to step forward and take the blame. The first one to climb to the top of a tree, the first one to fly to great heights, but he had absolutely no confidence when it came to talking out loud, or meeting new people. They suspected it was from his older siblings dragging him down.
Draco and Hermione were close to their son, in fact he was a complete mama's boy and Draco often wondered how Hermione would react when he went off to Hogwarts the following September. He was beginning to thank that he had another child on the way. In Hermione's words, the last child! Draco didn't mind this as he had gotten the six children that he wanted.
Draco helped Xavier with his hair and the four of the remaining Malfoys apparated away. They waited on the platform for the train to come in. When it did the first Malfoy off was Amelie. She ran straight for her father.
"Dad!"
Draco pulled his princess into his arms.
"I've missed you. How were the O.W.L's?" He asked into her ear.
"Fine, Arithmancy was bit tricky, but I think I passed." She answered fastly.
Xavier scoffed. Amelie was easily the smartest of his siblings.
Amelie went to her mother next and then Cora. She made her way around until she got to Xavier.
Xavier was closest to Amelie out of all of his siblings, apart from Cora, with whom he lived with.
Amelie squealed and pulled her youngest brother into her arms.
"How are you Xie?"
"I'm fine Ami, how's Fionn?" He whispered.
Fionn Finnigan was Amelie's boyfriend. Only Isla, Scorpius and Xavier knew though. If Draco ever found out, he would kill.
"He's fine, although he did blow up the potions lab, again." Amelie furrowed her eyebrows.
Xavier chuckled.
Scorpius came over next, acting all posh and stuck up.
They waited on the Platform for another quarter of an hour before they saw Isla get off the train holding James Potters hand.
Draco went pale, then he saw red when James Potter leaned down and started snogging his little angel.
Xavier, Amelie and Scorpius sniggered.
"EWWW!" Cora exclaimed, blocking her eyes.
Hermione and Narcissa grabbed Draco's arms to hold him back, but it was too late Blaise Zabini saw his goddaughter snogging young Potter and went over and punched the boy full force into his nose.
"UNCLE BLAISE!" Isla exclaimed, checking her boyfriends broken nose.
Draco loosened the grip on his arms and ran over to his daughter.
He pulled Isla back from the teenage boy.
"Isla Adeline Malfoy!!!" He shouted.
People turned to look at them.
Hermione came over and pulled James to the side.
"Episkey!"
James's nose healed itself.
"Oh James darling, I'm so, so sorry. What Blaise did, you know he and Draco are just really protective of her. Oh James I'm so sorry!" Hermione said rapidly.
James gave a weak smile. "Don't worry Mrs. Malfoy. What I did, it was unacceptable."
"Too bloody right!" Draco and Blaise chorused.
Hermione shot then a look and turned back to James.
"Don't worry at seventeen they were doing much worse things then snogging." Hermione spoke coldly.
Draco and Blaise were still fuming. "Like what!?"
Hermione raised a perfect eyebrow. "You were death-eaters!" Hermione clasped a hand over her mouth realising what she had just said.
Her children knew about her part in the war, but they had no idea about their fathers.
Isla's eyes bulged. Her sweet, loving, protective father was a cold blooded, monstrous, follower of Voldemort.
She felt sick, her knees collapsed under her, James lunged and caught her swiftly in his arms.
James looked up a Mr. Malfoy, he looked like he just saw his boggart.
James steadied Isla in his arms and held a hand out to Mr. Malfoy, Draco. He passed Isla to her father.
Draco looked at the boy who he would have killed minutes before.
James leaned in. "Fix this before it get's worse."
Draco nodded and apparated away with Isla, who was out-cold in his arms.
