Happy New Year!

"So guys, what're we doing tonight?" Peter Parker called as he entered the Avengers Compound's shared common room.

All the Avengers present, including Clint and Scott's families(they only knew Peter as the intern who got close to the Avengers)-not including T'Challa- shared a look. "What do you mean Peter?" Wanda asked. Now it was Peter's turn to be confused. "It's New Years Eve. What're your guys' plans?" He asked. Everyone shared another look. "We were just going to stay here kid." Tony answered. Peter's jaw dropped. "Alright! Grab your coats!" Peter clapped his hand together to get everyone moving.

"So...Peter, where are we going?" Scott asked as Peter led them through the winding streets of New York. "To a small place to eat." He answered, not looking back at the train of Avengers in baseball caps and sunglasses behind him.

"Yeah, but where?" Tony asked. "You'll see." The smirk could be heard in his voice. Tony fought the urge to gulp. He rarely went to common people restaurants.

"Nope." Tony said simply as he turned to walk away from a small, family owned restaurant called 'Famiglia'. Both Pepper and Steve grabbed Tony before he could get far.

"We are eating here and you aren't going to complain." Pepper said simply and Tony slouched in defeat and Peter beamed.

The restaurant was actually pretty nice. It wasn't very nice compared to Tony's rich-people-restaurants. But it was pretty nice by 'common people' standards.

After dinner, Peter took everyone to St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Well, he gave Cassie(Scott's daughter) and Cooper(Clint's son) a piggyback ride there.

In the church, a band-Bo Moore & Brothers-were playing. They decided to stay and listen to them for half an hour. For the majority of the songs, they all just sat in the pews swaying to the beat together. After those 30 minutes were over, Peter dragged them all over to another church. He gave Lila(Clint's daughter) a piggyback ride there.

At Franklin St United Methodist Church, the second one Peter took them to, they stayed and listened to Matt Otis and the Sound for an hour. When they left, they still had and hour till the ball dropped.

Peter decided to call his aunt and meet up with her and the people she spent the night with. By the time they met up, they had thirty minutes till the ball dropped.

They headed to Time Square. The place was packed. They had already planned around that little problem though. There was a SHIELD safe house that had a great view of the Ball. The group, now small herd, made their way to the building's roof.

They still had ten minutes. As they waited, everyone found a spot to sit while they waited. Peter ended up next to May and Natasha, who was holding Lila. "So Pete, how was your night?" His aunt asked. "It was great Aunt May. How was yours?" "I had a pretty good night myself." Peter nodded and turned to watch one of the many billboards.

TEN!!

Peter snapped out of his thoughts as he heard hundred of people start the count down to the new year.

NINE!!

He and everyone else on the rooftop joined in.

EIGHT!!

SEVEN!!

SIX!!

FIVE!!

FOUR!!

THREE!!

TWO!!

OONNEE!!

HAPPY NEW YEARR!!

Peter laughed and clapped as the ball fell. He smiled as Tony turned and kissed Pepper. Maggie, Scott's ex-wife, turned and kissed Paxton. Wanda kissed Vision. Thor kissed Jane, Peter wasn't sure when they got there. Steve smiled sadly as he thought of Peggy, and Bucky put a hand on his shoulder. Peter grinned as Natasha kissed Bruce. He knew it!! He knew it!!

This was truly a Happy New Year.

Sorry that was rushed. I just wanted to write something before it is officially 2019. I actually based their night off of the one I had. I made up the restaurants name but not the bands'.

I was listening the Into The Spider-Verse sound track whole writing this. I love that movie.

Man, this was the best year for me so far. I saw my first live performance this year. I actually watched two tonight. It was awesome.

Tonight when we were eating, an old woman fell down on the street and at least five people ran to help her up and the rest of the way across the street. I have faith in humanity once more.

I'm actually pretty sad to see 2018 go.

Anyways, Happy New Year Guys.

Until next time.
