Peter woke up to sounds of loud screeching —no, sorry, Peter thinks that was supposed to be singing...

"Ahh? What the hell was that!?" Apparently Clint heard it too. Oh, and all the others. Everyone jumped up from where they were sleeping, they had all fallen asleep in the commons room while watching Christmas movies.

"I...don't know...?" Vision said as he looked around. "It sounded like someone was dying." Natasha said flatly. Tony rolled his eyes. "That was singing Nat. Way to crush someone's dream." Natasha just glared at everyone who chuckled. "Haha, woah now my fellow friends! Is it not supposed to be a joyous day!?" Thor asked with a big smile. He really liked human traditions and holidays.

"Well Thor, it would be joyous if I hadn't woken up to what ever the hell that screeching is." Wow...Natasha was in a really bad mood. "And why isn't it stopping?" Peter cocked his head to the side. The continuous Christmas carols sounded sorta familiar.

"Is it just me, or does that voice sound familiar?" Everyone stopped to listen. "Tony's ward is right. There's an accident." Dr. Strange said. "Ward?" May muttered. Peter waved her off with the promise of explaining later.

"Wait...I know that accent..."Steve muttered, "It's..."

All of a sudden, it clicked with Peter. "IT'S SHURI!!" And with that, he bolted from the room.

Peter battled through the halls of the compound with a huge smile on his face. His science buddy was here!

It took him a few minutes, but he finally made it to the front of the compound. And in the main lobby area, was Shuri, T'Challa, and a whole ton of presents.

"SHURIII!!!"

Shuri stopped her screeching at his voice. A grin broke out on her face as soon as her eyes landed on him. "PETERRR!!!"

The two laughed as they did their super-awesome-science-buddies-handshake.

"Merry Christmas everyone." T'Challa greeted as the everyone else caught up. After catching up, they all worked together to move the Wakandans' stuff into the commons room.

After that, they ate breakfast and opened gifts. To be honest, Peter thought some of the gifts were a bit excessive, Thor, Tony, Shuri, and T'Challa's gifts at least. They were all big, expensive, or both. Well, they were all super rich after all, so what can you do? The gifts from everyone else, however, were small but meaningful.

After exchanging gifts and just hanging out for a bit, everyone changed and went out. It took awhile and quite a bit of arguing, but they all decided to go ice skating after getting some hot chocolate.

And after that, they joined a group of carolers. And once again, they all got to learn about Shuri's singing voice.

Even though they got a lot of weird looks and a lot of people asking for pictures, Peter would consider this one of his best Christmases ever.
