7// the first move
Heads up, you are definitely either going to think I'm way too shy to be human or just a prude. Either way, this is how I was, so this is how I'll tell it.
It was a few weeks after the incident where Ms. Leanne had yelled at Clint. He still came over to talk, though he made sure that he was never seen when he left the class room.

Now you've got to understand that back then, in our boarding school, something so much as a hand holding was a big deal. It meant that two people had something going on. You didn't find people kissing unless they were really serious and not even the passionate making out.
So it came as a bit of a surprise to me when one day, Clint was sitting next to me, and slowly put an arm around me.
Classic move, sure, and any other girl interested would have leaned in, possible made it lead to something more -- which I'm sure he was expecting.
I was interested in him. I was.
And the idiot in me moved away, scooting my chair to the side so his hand fell of.
If you want to virtually slap me you can because I'll just remind you that he is drool worthy.
He didn't take any offence though, and if he did he didn't show it. He didn't even try it again, which I admired.
Well, until a week later.
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
