5// dealing with life destroyers
As Clint made a habit out of coming to the seventh grade classroom, of course, people started to notice.
Namely, teachers.
See now in our school, we didn't have prom or dances or anything of the sort because fraternising with the opposite sex was completely forbidden. Sure you can be friends and talk to them but if they suspect something else -- even if it is false -- they will to everything in their power to call you out and make your life miserable.
It happened to one of my friends, who was in a grade higher than me.
The thing is, what the teachers do is call your parents and let them take it from there. Now because most student's parent's are really old fashioned they will think it's a sin and as a result, really take it out on their children for being involved.
I was a different case because my parents were in no way old fashioned.

Two things I learned
- My parents are actually really awesome.
- Teachers will never stop trying to meddle.

Heck, my mom's even asked me if I was gay simply because I hadn't had a boyfriend by the seventh grade -- and she promptly told me that if I was it was absolutely fine.
So stuff like teachers calling in my parents never bothered me.
Till of course, one teacher saw Clint coming out of my classroom when it wasn't the tea break time. Not that we were doing anything wrong of course. We just both had free periods and he cane over to talk. We weren't even alone. All my class mates were there except for Toby, who was hardly ever around -- which I suspect is the reason he hadn't bothered me at first.
But this teacher -- let's say her name is Ms.Leanne -- would not let this go. She didn't speak to me but I could hear her yelling at Clint outside the classroom and after a few moments it stopped.
And that was it.
For that day anyway.
