Bethany's POV

  As soon as I hear that word leave his mouth, my eyes widen into saucers and I slowly inch backwards.
  "Why are you backing away?" He says and starts pacing towards me quickly. I whimper and turn around and start running, but he grabs my wrist. Tingles fly through me, but I flinch, memories flooding back, making me whimper again. "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you," he mumbles and puts a hand on my cheek, "what's wrong?"
  I look down and whisper, "don't reject me please."
  His body goes rigid and he pulls me into a hug and growls. A low voice from him replies, "never."
  I sigh, realizing it's his wolf. "Once you find out who I am you will."
  "No, I won't, ever," he growls and I hesitate.
  Mindy is bouncing in my head, running in circles yelling, "JUST ACCEPT IT YOU DOOFUS!"
  "I'm the omegas daughter," I whisper, " now what do you think?"
  "Now I'm thinking about how I'm going to murder anyone who has ever hurt you. That's what I'm thinking." I look up at him and he smiles down at me a mischievous glint in his eyes.
  I laugh and stop thinking about how strange it is to even laugh in public because of what's happened to me. When he sees me smiling he smiles even bigger and Mindy almost passes out screaming, "HE IS PERFECT!"
"What's your name gorgeous?"
"Bethany, and you are?"
"I'm Blake, it's wonderful to meet you." He smirks and winks at me making my face turn into a tomato. He laughs a glorious laugh that sounds like bells going off in heaven and I swear mindy almost passes out on the spot. "Well I'll see you around bethie," he says, then he hugs me and walks to his car.
Mindy squeals and yells," HE GAVE US A PET NAME!!!!" And I start walking home thinking about how insane this day has been.
-AT HOME-
"Hello sweetie, how was your day?" My mom says taking my backpack as I walk in the door. I'm still smiling like a kid at a birthday party, so she squeals and hugs me, "what happened? Was it a good day?!"
  "Mom, the day was terrible, as always-" her face falls and I feel bad, "-but, I have some exciting news."
  "What is it?!"
  "I found my mate." My mom's eyes widen and she picks me up and spins me.
  "No way! No way no way no way!!!! Yay!!!" She kisses me all over my face.
  "Bleh, mooooom, stop!" I say laughing. She stops and pulls me into another hug, mumbling random things.
  "I'm so happy for you!!!"
  "What did I hear about a mate?" My dad's voice comes from the doorway, I turn around and hug him.
  "Hi daddy, I found my mate!" I say and pull away waiting for his reaction.
  "I need to meet him, what's his name?" I smile so big my face starts hurting.
  "His name is Blake, he is so amazing." My mom laughs.
  "And it's started." She laughs and goes to the kitchen.
  "What?" I ask, and my dad just shakes his head laughing.
  "I'll explain later." He says then follows my mom into the kitchen.
