Chapter 31: Mount Griloge

I am about to save my trainer/partner. Wow. I never thought this day would come. Well, I did sorta want it to come even though we might die. So happy thoughts!

"Wait a minute." I stopped.

"What is it?" Mew asked.

"You can use Teleport."

"Not up there. It has some kind of energy that makes you scale the mountain. No Teleports. Unless you're at the top and are going down or you've already been there."

I punched a tree. My fist started to hurt, but the tree was gone. Sure, it was about an inch thick and a foot high, but that didn't stop me.

Finally at the Center at the foot of Griloge. Resting in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

Ok, all rested up. Mew and Arceus are healed to perfection. Mew's Gameboy is in my Backpack. I'm ready.

I needed a Rock Climb move to get to the top. My dad's badge enabled me too use the move outside of battle. Mew turned into a Golem and we climbed. And climbed. And climbed. It was finally three hours after we had started that we had finished. I had my Gameboy out and I was about to beat the game again. But then we stopped and I saved.

"Hello... ZEKE!" A man was in front of me. It was the leader of Team Jupiter. Mew turned back into himself and we used Teleport inside the building.

"I thought you said we couldn't use Teleport up here," I said.

"To get up here the first time is what I meant," Mew replied.

We walked around for a while and we found Zeke and Goldie. I turned back into Burn at the sight of them.

"GUYS!!!" It's been so long!" I yelled and hugged Zeke and Goldie as soon as they were free.

"There's someone special here too," Zeke said. "Jirachi."

A small Pokemon came out. It had a head three times as big as its body that was shaped like a star. It was Jirachi.

"Can you change us back?" I asked him.

"Yes."

I was so relieved.

"And Mew. You need to have the power to change them back too," Jirachi added.

Jirachi Touched Mew. Mew then touched our noses again, and in a flash of light, I was me.

"Ok guys, let's GO!"

Mew had Teleported us out of the compound. Everyone was shocked when we came out (Literally; Mew turned into a Raichu and used Thunderbolt.). We tried to get off, but the leader stopped us.

Why did he look so familiar this time?

Was it that I'd seen him before?

Almost.

Was it that I'd become friends with him?

Yes.

"Heact?"

"He was my twin brother. We were separated at a small age. I wandered off one day and I got lost. I vowed to rule the world that rejected me!!!" His bellow made the ground shake. "NOW PREPARE FOR THE FINAL BATTLE THAT ISN'T THE FINAL BATTLE BECAUSE THERE STILL WILL BE POKEMON AND TRAINERS AFTER I TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!"

"Hold on," I said. I took Mew down to the bottom of the mountain using Teleport, got my and Goldie's Pokemon from the P.C, and Teleported back up the mountain. "Here ya go," I said, handing Goldie her Pokemon.

All of the Pokemon were let out. It really was an impressive army. Mew and Arceus were at the front of them all. A Honedge came floating by and Mew grabbed it. Then he sat on Arceus. It was hilarious. "CHARGE!!!"

It was chaos against the Mewtwo (Which was Mega Evolved, by the way) and the other Pokemon from Team Jupiter. But my Pokemon could handle them. It was really Arceus and Mew against M.M.X. The battle was long and hard, the tides turning all of the time. Then we all had a friendly picnic. Then we battled again.

And after the longest day of battling EVER, we won. barely. All of the Pokemon were on the brink of fainting, and you'd be surprised how much you'd want to obey a small Pokemon holding a sword Pokemon on your neck.

"I WILL get you, Zeke Gravinur. I WILL!!!" Then Mewtwo opened a small portal to what looked suspiciously like the Distortion Word, and went through. Mewtwo stayed, though. There wasn't enough energy in him to go through or hold the portal open long enough. I saw a Pokeball and a bracelet next to Mewtwo. I inspected it, and it was a Mega Ring. It was also Mewtwo's Pokeball. I returned Mewtwo, put the Mega Ring on my wrist, and said, "Anyone else?"

The grunts scattered. It was the best day of my life.

I had all of the Pokemon. Burn, Mew, Mewtwo, Dragonair, Sylveon, and Flareon were my party. I sent Arceus back to my dad, and I headed off to the Pokemon World Championships. There, if I won, I would get the chance to battle the champion. If I beat the champion, I would have the chance to become champion. Goldie will be there the entire time, supporting me. Mewtwo had a Mega Stone in his necklace, so I think I have my secret weapon.
