Chapter One

I finally came to the gates of Konohagakure, pretty much drenched in sweat. Two men came out of a booth type place and one had pink in his cheeks.

“How may we help you, miss?” the one with the flushed face asked. I mentally grabbed the bridge of my nose.

'Good God, the thinks I'm attractive.' I thought grumpily. Good think my thoughts are my own voice, or I would of thrown a fit.

“Yes, I'd like to live here.” I answered with a sweet charming smile. I died of humiliation on the inside. I knew how girls acted, there were enough in the hideouts, so this honestly was a piece of cake.

“Well, you have to go talk to the Hokage first. Let us guide you there.” the guy smooth talked back. I gave him a small smile.

“Thank you so much!” I twirled my hair, which I let loose after walking for hours, so now it was just long and wavy.

They both took my hands in theirs, much to my dismay, and led me to the building that the Hokage resided in.

“Would you please let my hands go? I can walk myself.” I asked politely and they both actually compiled and released my hands. Good, because if they didn't I would of shown them who's boss. I probably would of ripped their limbs off and Hell, just to screw with their minds, I would of poked them with their own torn off hands.

We got to the Hokages quarters all in one piece. I had to wait to see the Hokage, because he was already seeing somebody else.

A group of kids came out of his office looking troubled. Not that I cared, because it was my turn to see the Hokage. I stood up and began walking, but stopped when I heard a wolf whistle. I snapped my head back to see one of the kids staring at my ass.

“Do you mind?!” I seethed. The kid barked a laugh and kept walking away.

I swear if all females were treated like this, I'd slaughter every man on this Earth. Women don't deserve to feel violated. I'm a guy, and that right there made me feel violated.

I finally made it into the Hokages room and he was sitting there smoking a long tobacco pipe. The room was kind of smoky, but that didn't bother me.

“Why do you wish to live here?” The Hokage asked nicely. I gave him a flattering smile.

“I love the environment here and the people seem lovely.” I answered kindly. He didn't speak for a few minutes, seeming to contemplate things.

“What is your name, girl?” he asked and I panicked on the inside. Seether was a males name. I need a females name, and quick.

“Naomi Take.” I said quickly and he was silent again, probably considering letting me live here or not. He took a drag on his pipe and let out a slow, long breath.

“Are you a ninja?” He questioned and I shrugged.

“I'm not a ninja but I'm really skilled.” was my calm and collected answer, finishing it off with a dazzling smile. I actually liked smiling, but it's not really a good place to smile back at home when everyone envied you and was jealous of your rank of the hideout- I was at the top, above Kabuto even, who was dad's wingman. I was the prince of the hideout, whatever I said, would happen right away. If I wanted someone in the hideout dead, they would die right in front of me, or even simply by my own two hands.

I got out of my train of thought and looked to the Hokage.

“I would love to be a ninja here.” I spoke, just knowing that Sasuke would probably be a ninja. I was told only little driblets about the boy. That he was in the Academy, and that his brother assassinated everyone in his family except for him for some reason I didn't acquire.

The Hokage nodded, looking pleased about this.

“I will just need to test your skills and you can be a Leaf ninja. There's an open room at a jounins home that you may live at. His name is Might Guy.” I nodded my head up and down as I thought about what I was going to do next in order to get close with Sasuke.

The Hokage suddenly snapped his fingers and a very odd looking man appeared in a puff of smoke. He has one a bright green jumper suit and neon orange leg warmers. He was also in a strange pose. His leg was up in the air and his right hand circling his eye, and left hand quirked in the air.

This man, was fucking nuts.

“Gai-sensei present!” he boomed and I flinched at his loudness.

“Could you house this young man? He will be put in the Academy to test his skills and we will see what happens then.” The Hokage mumbled through his pipe, sucking away on it as if it were a lollipop. Gai nodded and looked me up and down.

Then he suddenly appeared in front of me and grabbed me into a bone crushing hug.

“Of course I will! You shall call me Daddy!” he cried. Literal tears ran down his face and he left me very confused.

I shook Gai off of me and looked at him sternly.

“I am not your daughter, I simply live with you.” I told him coldly. He had to get his facts right to my defense.

“Oh....” he trailed off sadly. “Then I guess I will be Mommy, not Daddy!” I groaned in annoyance.

“Whatever.” I gave up and he cheered to himself. I didn't understand this man or what his stupid goal for me was. I also don't understand why the Hokage chose Gai out of everyone in this village for me to live with. Gai obviously had something very wrong in the head. Very, very wrong.

Who knows though, this man might surprise me and be a very strong ninja or have some sort of amazing ability that even Dad would give him kudos for.

I didn't know and I didn't care, all I cared about was finding Sasuke and looking out for him. He should be in the Academy, so it was good that I was supposed to 'test my skills' there. I was probably as good as a jounin in my opinion. But Konoha didn't need to know that, they only need to know that I am on Sasuke's level of intelligence and skill.

This was going to be an easy quest, I thought determinedly in my head.
