Living

She looked down into the coffin and for some odd reason she was completely fine with what she saw. She saw herself in the coffin looking extremely peaceful. She knows that most people would be freaking out if they were in her shoes, but for some reason this seems normal.

There is a little voice telling to keep calm and go look for a necklace. 'What does the necklace look like?' she asked inside her head.

'You will know when you see it. Now go look or you shall never return to the living. People will be able to see you so be very careful. DO NOT say anything about that you are dead. Now go!' the little voice said.

"Alright, alright. Fine, do you have any other warnings for me?'' she asked out loud. The voice stayed silent. "Thanks. You are so much help right now." she said sarcastically.

'I know I am so much help.' the little voice sassed back.

"I hate you so much right now you know that right? Because if you don't I could put into words for you." she said.

'No you don't need to put it into words. I can already tell how much right now.' the voice said with a smirk.

"I really don't like you at all. Please give me a hint of where I am going." she asked.

'Fine. There is an antique trading in Minnesota. Go there and you will find a person with a lot of necklaces and rings. You will have find the blood red necklace. Get that in one week's time or else you will not be able to return to the living.'

"Great. It will take me about two hours to get where I need to be in Minnesota." She said.

'I didn't say exactly where you were going.' the voice said.

"Then please tell me where exactly where I am going." She said.

'Amity Park, Duluth.'

"I really hate you right now. Please just tell me you didn't have any influence where the trading was?" she asked.

'I had no influence where it would be located. You just chose the wrong time to die.' the voice said.

"I didn't want to die! I am going to give you a name. Your name is Jax. Deal with it. I really don't care if you don't like your name." she said.

'Then I should call you by your first name, Danielle.' Jax said.

"Fine. I am going Amity Park. That should take me about twenty minutes to get there." Danielle said.

'Where do you think you are?' Jax asked.

"At home. I died at home." Danielle stated.

'No you did not. You died at your cabin. Now hurry and get to Amity or else you will n-'

"Yeah yeah "Get the necklace or else not return to the living." I get it. Who am I supposed to put the necklace on? My body or myself?" Danielle asked.

'You must figure that one out for yourself. Make sure you keep that coffin with you at all times.' Jax said.

"Okay fine. I should get going. I will ask you if I need help." Danielle said, "I need to go home and get all the money I can find. Fun. That means taking my parents money. I don't think they will care. They want me alive. At least I think they do." Danielle said to herself.

When she looked around she did not like her surroundings. It was her grandparents' old cabin. She did not like it there because she had to spend about seven months there with her whole family. Back then it was her and her four brothers and three sisters. And then there was the three dogs and rabbit.

The cabin itself was not very big. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Her parents shared the one master bedroom, the girls took the other bedroom. All of the boys got the front porch. Everyone was tightly packed in the cain. The children got out when they could.

"I am going to see if my parents left any money here For emergencies. I think this counts as one. Hopefully my parents want me back home. How did I get here anyways?" Danielle asked herself as she entered the cabin.

The door immediately opened up to a dark room with four steps going up to another door. After you opened that door you entered into the kitchen. The first place she looked was the little jars that were on top of the microwave. There was a about 20 dollars in those. She walked to the living room. It wasn't much at all. Just a couch, two chairs, and a T.V. with a stand. Danielle knew there wasn't going to be much for money in that room if any so she moved on to the next room.

When she enter the master bedroom it was completely destroyed. She couldn't make out the floor from the mess. She slowly and carefully made her way over to the dresser and opened the first drawer and found only a few dollar bills. When she got done with that room she had found about 30 dollars in total. Finally she went to the last bedroom. She searched that room from top to bottom. Danielle came out of that room she had found 50 more dollars.

She left the cabin with 100 dollars in her hand. She found her car keys, put her coffin in the back of her car and went home. It had somehow shrank to about the size of a pendent that she could put on a necklace.

When she got home she found no one there. Everyone was gone except the two dogs. They were in their kennel barking as she walked inside.

"Oh shut up. I'll let you out." Danielle said as she walked to where they were. She let them out and they ran to the door.

"No you have to wait for me and one at a time." Danielle said as she tied the small pug out, "You have to wait you little monster." she said to the old english bulldog.

Danielle walked up the stairs to her parents room and looked her dad's nightstand. She found $10.38 in his drawer. Danielle went to her mom's night stand and found $23.69 in her drawer. Danielle went to their closet and found their parents coin bank. She took that and then remembered that she had money in her rockstar piggy bank. Danielle took all of her money out of her piggy bank and counted it. It was $17.84.

"I need to go to the bank and get this all into cash." Danielle said to her dog that followed her into the room, "Come on you monster. Let's go get your brother inside."

The dog barked in response. They both walked down the stairs and let the pug inside. "Time for you to go out bud." Danielle said as she tied the dog out.

It took that dog about five minutes before her wanted back inside. She put both of them back in the kennel. "Goodbye boys I'll see you later." Danielle said as she left the house.

She got into her car and left. She was heading down her driveway and meet her dad's car. Her dad had a shocked look on his face and told her to back up her car. She backed up the driveway and her dad drove by her and parked his car. He got out of his car and walked up to Danielle's car window.

"HOW ARE YOU EVEN ALIVE?!?!" Her dad yelled as he asked looking surprised.

"What do you mean?" Danielle asked.

"We saw you die." he said.

"Well I didn't die obviously. Now how do you think I died?" Danielle asked wanting to know.

"Well I had my gun and you had a knife-"

"YOU KILLED ME?!?!" Danielle yelled at her dad.

Her dad looked at her with a sinister look in his eyes and said the one thing that Danielle didn't want to hear, "Yes I did kill you. Or I thought I did at least. I think I should finish the job now." he said unearthly calm.

Danielle hurried and rolled up her window just as her father pulled out his gun. He aimed it at her head and she took off down the driveway in her car.

"How the hell could he shoot at his own daughter? Also how could he commit murder or at least attempted murder?" Danielle asked herself, "I know where I am not going after I find that necklace." Danielle said.

Suddenly there was flashing lights behind Danielle and she looked up. "Can this day get any fucking worse?" She asked herself as she pulled over.

The policeman walked up to Danielle's open window.

"Hello officer. How can I help you?" she asked.

"You were going 90 in a 50 mile per hour zone. Have you ever been pulled over before?" the officer asked not looking up from his paper he was writing on.

"No I have not Sir. I am sorry. I should have been paying better attention to how fast I was going." Danielle said.

The officer finally looked up from his paper and stared at Danielle, "Danny?" he asked.

"Wait Louie?" Danielle asked.

"Only Danny called me Louie." the officer said.

"Yes I am Danny. I know that I have changed a lot." Danny said.

"There is a report that said that you are dead." Lewis said.

"Well I am not dead as you can see." Danny said.

"But I saw your body. I saw the bullet hole in your side. I saw you dead on the ground. I thought I lost the only person that I loved!" Lewis said. After he realized what he had said his face went apple red.

"Y-You love me?" Danny stuttered and her face had a light blush on her face.

"Yes I did. I mean I still do love you. I missed you. You were gone for a month. I tried everything to get into contact with you. Nothing ever worked. I started to get so depressed." Lewis said. He started to get tears in his eyes. Danielle got out of the car and hugged Lewis. She ran her fingers through his thick light brown curly hair.

"I am so sorry I didn't call you or anything. I was busy. I am sorry Louie." Danielle said.

Lewis looked into Danielle's toxic green eyes and said, "Just promise me that you will never leave me again."

"I promise." Danielle said looking back into Lewis' electric blue eyes.

Lewis looked at Danielle's car and noticed some of the bullet holes.

"What happened to your car Danny?"

"Ummm... Nothing?" she hopelessly lied.

"I know that you are lying. Now, tell me what truly happened."

"Fine my 'father' shot at me. He was the one who 'killed me'." Danielle said adding quotation marks around some of the words.

"I guess I should go and arrest your father then." Lewis said.

"No you should not. Just leave him alone. You know how he is." Danielle said.

"Yeah I know how he is. That is the reason why he should be put in jail." Lewis said.

"Leave him alone. I know he is bad. He does not need any more trouble than he has now." Danielle said.

"Fine. I'll leave him a lone for now." Lewis said.

"Good. Now we have to go to Amity Park in Duluth." Danielle said.

"Why there?" Lewis asked.

"There is something a need from there." Danielle said.

"Alright let's go. We just have to drop off your car at my house." Lewis said.

"What if someone sees my car and calls it in saying you stole it?" Danielle said.

"We can hide it in my garage. No one goes in there anymore." Lewis said.

"Why does nobody go in there anymore?" Danielle asked.

"I don't allow anybody in there. That's all." Lewis said.

"Alright. Let's head to your place." Danielle said getting back into her car. Lewis did the same except getting into the cop car.

It took them about 15 minutes to get to Lewis' home. He lives there with dog and he watches Danielle's cats Astrid and Emmy.

"You said that I was gone for a month right?" Danielle asked.

"Yes. Why are you asking?" Lewis asked as they were walking inside the house.

"Because you were watching my cats. Do you still have them?" Danielle asked.

"Yes, I still have them. You know I love them as much as you do." Lewis said.

"Good. I want to see them when this is all over." Danielle said.

"When what is all over?" Lewis asked.

"Nothing." Danielle said quickly.

"I know it's something but I will let it slide for a little while." Lewis said, "Let's head back out and put your car in the garage."

"Alright." Danielle said. Lewis opened the garage door with a button and Danielle pulled her car into the garage.

When she came out Lewis was waiting for her in his car. She hopped into the front seat of the car and the drove off where Danielle wanted to go.

It took them about 45 minutes to get Amity. Danielle went straight to the vendor and saw the necklace that she needed. It had a black chain with a red jewel on it.

"Hello sir, How much for this necklace?" she asked.

"That one is priced at 500 dollars." the vendor said.

"Why so much?" Danielle asked.

"Don't tell anyone that I told you this but this necklace can bring people back from the dead." he whispered.

"Awesome. I'll take it." Danielle said handing him the money. When she touched it the jewel started to glow. She noticed it and quickly stuffed it in her pocket.

"What was that?" the vendor asked.

"Nothing." Danielle said. She took her necklace that she just bought and went over to find Lewis where she left him. It didn't take that long to find him. He was at a different vendor looking at they were selling.

"What 'cha doing?" Danielle asked as she snuck up behind him.

Lewis jumped and said, "Don't scare me like that! You almost gave me a heart attack."

"Good, now let's head home." Danielle said.

"Alright." Lewis said as they walked to Lewis' car. They drove to his house.
