Before I could decipher who it was the pain overtook me and everything went black.

When I awoke everything was dark and gloomy, I felt my hand laying on top of something flat and hard. My body had stopped aching, the pain was gone!

I glanced to see what I was touching. It was the black box! I tried my best to remove my hand but it felt as if I was glued to it! Like it was now part of me!

"Help!" I yelled, wait... why did I yell, no one is here!

I tried to move but I think the box wanted me to stay where I was.

I was scared. I was shivering, I was worried I would have visions of Him again!

I sat next to the box for hours, scared to concentrate too hard or I might have visions! I tried everything until there was nothing left to try.

All I had left to do was concentrate.

I gently closed my eyes and concentrated carefully on the box, then on Him and everything bad that's ever happened to me.

I felt wind gushing through my hair, wet rain drizzle on my face and soft damp grass below my knees. I slowly opened my mind amazed in what I saw.

I stood up staring around absorbing the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.

I was back! Back in my happy place, I turned around to face the sun. I loved this part of the day, It glistened over the mountains exhaling dark umber orange color to an enlightened pink sky.

I stepped backwards to sit on the grass. I looked to my left to see the box, At first I was wary but then I picked it up. It was surprisingly light! I turned it over to see a note attached to the back.

It read:

Dear Vanessa, It's been so long! I'm very sorry about all the commotion I caused and I didn't want to leave you and Veronica at such a crucial stage! But I could hear the other side, they were in trouble! When I went to go find out where the noise was coming from I came across this box. The wise man said it is only to be used once because if more than one person uses it, it could be tempered with by evil people or spirits! I really hope when you found the box you were safe and nothing bad happened to you! No one knows that I sent the box back to retrieve you, they all said it was a stupid idea and the plan would fail, but I guess we'll have to wait and see, won't we!?

Love From Sophie

Tears streamed down my face, I'm back! And Sophie's ok!

I gazed at the sunset, I was drenched from the rain, but I didn't care, I softly laughed. "I'm Back!I'm actually back!" I said to myself over and over again.

I then felt a small soft hand on mine. I slowly turned my head.

"Sophie!" I cried, I pulled her into a hug, squeezing her tight. "I got your letter! Thank You!"

"Nessa! I missed you so much! When everyone told me it was a stupid idea I knew they were wrong!" Sophie admitted.

We Pulled apart gazing at each other.

"Who's in charge?" I questioned quietly, worried it was still me.

"That's the problem around here, because you mysteriously disappeared, no one knew if you were dead or alive and you weren't here to hand the role over to someone so since you've been gone no one has been in charge. It's Crazy!" Sophie stated.

I placed my hands on both of Sophie's shoulders, "Sophie, How long have I been gone for!?" I whispered.

"Three and a half years" She replied, as tears formed in her eyes.

I pulled her in for another hug, she softly cried on my shoulder, I held her close, never wanting to let go.

How the hell was I gone for THREE AND A HALF YEARS! My mind was racing, I had so much to handle! I have to find Roni! Has it been three years for her too? I have to find out who tampered with my box! The last thing I needed was to be in charge of the other side! I didn't deserve it.

"Come with me" I said quietly taking her hand.

"Where are we going?" she questioned as I wiped away the excess tears from her rosey cheeks.

"It's time you got what you truly deserved" I answered.

We walked for miles until we reached the familiar square where people usually met for annual meetings and get togethers.

I took place in front of a podium on a big stand, I looked to my side, Sophie looked worried, she looked at me and I nodded with a smile.

I closed my eyes to contact everyone. When I opened them I saw people appearing in the crowd, Some looked amazed to see me back others looked unsure.

I waited until everyone had arrived, and then I began.

I began to speak, empowering my voice to make sure I was heard.

"People, My friends, I have returned. I oppose my sincere apologies for my unexplained disappearance. But I am now back! And I feel it is unfair to you, my loyal people to let me still be in charge! I disowned you, I was gone for three years with no explanation. So I Vanessa Merrell withdraw from being the powerful one! And I give the power of being in charge to Sophie! She is young yet wise! You must follow her words carefully and respect her decisions for she is now in charge!"

I looked happily down to Sophie, her mouth gaped open in surprise. She looked up at me, I didn't know if she was happy or sad about my decision.

We began to walk, I don't know where but Sophie was leading me somewhere. We came to a holt at a river's bank.

"I heard you, back there when you said you were in your happy place." She whispered, staring into the water.

"I was" I answered softly "Thanks to you!"

"Everyone told me I was being silly, thinking I could find you. When you were gone I would watch sunsets, but it wasn't the same, I was lonely and scared without you, after the beautiful sky it would grow dark and I would have no one to hold" Sophie admitted.

"I'm sorry" I apologized feeling my heart break.

I began to try and track down Veronica but then I realized she was till probably with you, So I created a new happy place, It is a place where darkness doesn't exist" Sophie explained.

"Where did you get the idea of a river from" I asked interested.

"Every week Daddy used to bring me out for a picnic someplace new! My all time favourite was when he brought me to the river banks where we played hide and go seek, went fishing and played board games" Sophie giggled, she had her eyes closed as if she was still there with her dad.

"I'm sorry" I whispered, tears falling down my cheeks. Sometimes you forget that everyone on the other side has lost their loved ones, not just me.

"Nessa!" Sophie Shouted.

"What's wrong!" I answered concerned,

"It's Veronica! I can see her!" Sophie said closing her eyes tight.

"What do you mean!" I asked quickly,

"When I healed her I must have set a connection between us, so whenever she's endanger I see her, at first I thought it was my imagination, but know I can feel her emotions!" Sophie yelled.

"Do you know where she is!?" I frantically questioned.

"Take my hand I'll transport us!" Sophie ordered.

I did as I was told and I grasped her hand and closed my eyes.

When I opened them I saw something horrifying.

Was that!? No!? It couldn't be!? How Was that possible!?

I was the only person to ever see what He looked life and I would never forget His face.

He was there, Kicking my twin sister! Not on my watch!

"Everyone was right about you! You're useless!" I heard Him mocked.

"She's anything but useless!" I heard Sophie defend.
