Part 9

It was in the evening. Khushi was coming from terrace bringing clothes. She was passing through Nani's room when she heard Arnav's name. she stopped and peeped in to the room.

Anjali and Nani both were sitting on the bed and talking.

"Nani. I am afraid about chote"said Anjali.

"Don't worry Anjali bitiya. Everything will be fine. Chote will become normal soon"said Nani.

"I too hope same Nani. Doctor said that he will recover soon if he take medicines daily. But see it's already one year but there is no improvement in chote's health. Shyamji is daily giving medicines."said Anjali painfully.

"Don't' worry bitiya. Keep Trust on devimayya."said Nani.

Khushi went away silently from there. She came and sat on the bed engrossed in her thoughts. Her mind was preoccupied by what she listened today. She thought deeply and finally came to a conclusion that Shyam is not giving Arnav medicines daily. Then what medicines he is giving him was the question in Khushi's mind.

Then Nani and Anjali came there. They both saw Khushi in deep thoughts.

"Khushi bitiya"called Nani. Khushi came out of her thoughts and saw Nani, Anjali. She smiled to them.

"What happened Khushiji ? what are you thinking ?"asked Anjali.

"Nothing Di. Just like that "said Khushi.

"Khushi bitiya. Tomorrow I have conducted pooja for you and chote. So be ready for tomorrow"said Nani. Khushi nodded her head. Arnav entered the room.

"Khushiji. Have you brought saree ?. I asked NK to inform you"asked Anjali. Khushi was going to say something but Arnav said proudly" yes Di. I have selected it."

Then he went towards the cupboard and brought the packet. He showed them Khushi's saree.

"Aree waah chote. I don't know that your taste will be soo good"said Anjali

"But whenever you come along with me to shopping you won't come into saree section. Now you went along with Khushiji"asked Anjali faking anger.

"No NO Di. It's not like that. Khushi is alone naa. Also Akash said me that a husband should take care of his wife"said Arnav.

Anjali raised her eyebrow and said patting his cheek " My chote knows everything."

Arnav felt happy his Di praising him and then they all went to downstairs.

It was night. After dinner, everyone sitting in the hall except Khushi and NK.

"Di. I am feeling sleepy. I am going to my room"said Arnav.

"Ok Chote. Come let's go"said Anjali.

"No. Why you ?"asked Arnav.

"I will make you sleep everyday naa"said Anjali.

"No Di. Khushi is there naa. She will make me sleep. I will sleep on her lap"said Arnav.

"Ok"said Anjali. Arnav went away from there.

"Ranisahiba. What is this ? Salesaheeb is saying no to you"said Shyam.

"It's ok Shyamji. I am very happy seeing how Khushiji is taking care of my Chote.. My choice is right.. She is perfect for my Chote"said Anjali smiling looking at the direction where Arshi went..

Shyam didn't say anything thinking it's waste of saying her.

When Arnav went into his room, he saw Khushi and NK discussing something deeply.

"What happened ? What are you both talking ?"asked Arnav. Both looked at Arnav shocked.

"Nothing Arnavji."said Khushi

"You came soo early."asked Khushi.

"I am feeling sleepy"said Arnav.

"Ok Khushiji. I will leave now."said NK them turning to Arnav bid him good bye.

Arshi went into the room. Khushi made Arnav sleep on her lap. He fell asleep soon. After Arnav slept, she went to poolside and she remembered about NK's words in the mall

Flashback:

"Khushiji. I need to talk with you"said NK.

"Say NKji"said Khushi.

"It's about Arnav."said NK. Khushi looked at him confusingly.

"Yes Khushiji. the accident which made Arnav like this is not just an accident but a preplanned one"said NK. Khushi didn't say anything.

"It was made by Shyam"said NK. Still Khushi didn't say anything.

"Why aren't you saying anything ?"asked NK.

"I know all these"said Khushi calmly. NK looked at her shocked.

"Yes NKji. I know these from the start. My father said everything to me"said Khushi.

"That's good Khushiji."said NK

"But how do you know ?"asked Khushi questioningly.

"I too was working at nannav...When he asked your dad to collect proofs I overheard their conversation and later when I asked him, he told me everything about that Shyam how he is cheating Di.. On the day of accident, Arnav called me that he got proofs against Shyam and he will be there in the house in half an hour. But after sometime we got the news of his accident. After Arnav's accident, I couldn't do anything. I know this is that Shyam's plan. Someone in the office is leaking the facts.

Another thing is that he is responsible for your father's loss of job. He only manipulated the things in the file so that the blame will go on your father. He got succeeded in that plan. The whole balme went on your father. Shyam thought that your father would be thrown out of AR.

But all his plans go in vain by Di. Di saw you in mandir, she liked you and thought that u would be perfect match for Arnav. So she threatened your father for giving your hand. Shyam always wanted Arnav to tie with his sister sheetal but couldn't. Even that sheetal tried many times to seduce nannav when he was fine. But do you know ASR is.. ASR never looks at any girl."said NK.

Khushi listening to him keenly.

"What should we do now ?'said Khushi.

"I am thinking to bring that Shyam's face in front of family. I went for proofs at the accident place but I couldn't find them. I tried my level best for proofs but that Shyam is very cunning, he had vanished all proofs against him. During that time, we came to know Arnav's accident is a preplanned one. I was afraid that what if he does something to nannav because when Arnav gets his memory back, his truth will be out, that is why I would always be sticking to nannav irritating him and bearing his anger"said NK.

"We have to do something NKji. I will help you"said Khushi.

"Thanks Khushiji but"said NK hesitatingly.

"What happened NKji ?"asked Khushi confusingly.

"Khushiji. woo be careful with that Shyam. I didn't liked the way he is seeing at you"said NK hesitatingly.

"You don't worry NKji. I will take care"said Khushi and they left from there along with Arnav.

Before sometime at poolside :

"What happened Khushiji ? why did you call me ?"asked NK.

Khushi narrated him what she heard in the evening form Nani and Anjali's mouth and said" NKji. I think he isn't giving medicine to Arnavji"

"Yes Khushiji. How did I failed to notice it ? He must definitely not giving nnannav. I will go and ask him"said NK and was going but Khushi stopped him.

"NKji. Plz don't do that. If you go and ask him, he will become alert, we need to ask Arnavji"said ksuhi.

NK nodded his head.

"But Arnavji says he took his tablets whenever we ask him"said Khushi.

"He must be giving Diabetes tablets. So nannav thought about that tablets"said NK.

"But what if that Shyam is giving nannav other tablets which deteriotes his health more"asked Khushi.

"I don't think so Khushiji. if that would have been the case then by this the situation would have been worse"said NK

" I will ask Arnavji and find out'said Khushi.

"But Khushiji. after that what we do ? Shyam says he only should give his salesaheeb medicines. How can we stop him"asked NK.

"There is no need to stop him. Let him give which tablets he is giving"said Khushi. NK looked at her confusingly.

"UNKnown to him, we will give arnvaji his tablets"said Khushi. NK nodded his head as if he understood smiling.

He was going to say something but Arnav interrupted them.

End of Flashback

Khushi was engrossed in these thoughts. She saw Arnav sleeping peacefully on her lap. She made him sleep on the bed and kissed his forehead.

"I will never let you happen anything Arnavji"said Khushi and slept beside him
