Part 59

After sometime, all of them assembled in the hall and enjoying pakoras when Arnav came in.

He looked at Akash and Payal.

"What the......."said Arnav.

All looked at him wondered.

"Chote. You came early"said Anjali smiling.

"Akash and Payal !! When did you both came ??"asked Arnav.

"Just sometime before bhai"said Akash.

"Why din't you guys didn't informed me ?? Do you know how long I am trying for your phone and how tensed I was?" said Arnav with a little anger.

"Sorry bhai"said Akash lowering his ehad.

"Chote. Leave it naa. They just wanted to surprise us"said Anjali.

"But Di.."Arnav was going to say something but Nani cutoff "Chote. leave them for this time" then turning to Akash said "Akash. Don't repeat it again"

"I am sorry Dadi. I will never repeat"said Akash and turned to Arnav hugged him saying sorry.

Khushi looked at Arnav who is looking happy. Her heart pricked when he stopped smiling and put a stern face when he looked at her.

"But Chote. Why did you came early today ??'asked Anjali.

"Just like that Di"said Arnav.

"Ok. Now go, freshup and come. "said Anjali.

Arnav came down and sat down beside his Di.

"Chote. It is long time we all are spending time." said Anjali.

"Ha Di. I missed my family soo much"said Akash.

Khushi stood up to go as she doesn't want to face Arnav. He can't enjoy with his family if she will be there.

"Khushiji. Where are you going ??"asked Anjali.

"Di. I will prepare dinner"said Khushi.

"Let's go Khushi. I will help you"said Payal.

"No NO jiji. You came back after long time. You sit and enjoy"said Khushi and went into the Kitchen

They all are chitchatting happily when Anjali made a sharp sound holding her belly.

"Di. what happened ??' asked Arnav panicking. All rushed to her.

"Relax. I am fine"said Anjali smiling " Baby kicked me"

"What ??"asked all of them excitedly.

"Haan Nani baby kicked me"said Anjali with happy tears.

Nani kept her hand on Anjali's stomach. Baby kicked again.

One by one all of them kept their hands on her stomach to feel the baby kicking.

The most excited one is Arnav. It is the first time he is feeling it.

"Wow Di. it is really amazing. Now I am eager to see the baby"said Arnav.

"Chote. Wait for two months"said Anjali.

"But chote we are excited to see your baby'said Nani.

Arnav looked shocked while Khushi who is witnessing the whole scene from kitchen smiled sarcastically.

"Haan chote. When you are going to make me bua ??"asked Anjali.

"Di. Why are you asking me ?? It is not one year that I married. Why don't you ask Akash and Payal ?? They have to give the news because they are the now who got married first."said Arnav escaping from them.

"Bhai. This is not fair. Why are you trapping me in between ??"asked Akash accusingly.

Arnav shrugged off his shoulders.

Anjali started to tease her both brothers and had a good family time.

During dinner time, Khushi tried to avoid Arnav but couldn't due to family. They both acted normal in front of them.

In the Night:

Khushi completed the whole work in the kitchen and came lately to the room thinking Arnav must be asleep but to her surprise Arnav is at the poolside watching stars.

She silently went the cupboard took her dress and went into washroom to change.

When she came out, she saw Arnav sitting on the recliner. As soon as he saw her, he stood up.

Khushi silently going to her side of the bed when Arnav called her. She looked at him.

"I need to talk with you"said Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head as if to say. Her instincts are warning her something which she is fearing is going to happen.

"Khushi. I din't remembered how our marriage happened but I know in which condition it took place... You married me only for your father. You are a good wife, good daughter in law. You apted my family as yours and took care of them well... but Khushi (Arnav Choked a bit) the thing is that I don't believe in marriage and love all. Nevertheless how much I tried to give a chance to our relation, but I can't Khushi.... I couldn't feel anything for you more than a friend... . Marriage and the responsibilities are not my cup of tea. I can't handle this. "Arnav was going to say something but Khushi cutoff asking " What are you trying to conclude Arnavji ?? Come straight to the point"

"Khushi. wooo actually I am" stammered Arnav not able to say further

"What do you want Arnavji ?? asked Khushi.

"Divorce"said Arnav.

Khushi looked at him emotionless. Somewhere she knew this is going to come.

Arnav looked at her blank face and said "Khushi the thing is...." But stopped as Khushi showed him her hand to stop.

"Will you be happy if I give you divorce ??'asked Khushi looking into his eyes.

Arnav nodded his head looking away from her.

"Ok then I am ready for the divorce"said Khushi gulping down her own tears.

Arnav din't except she will accept easily. He thought she will cry and make a fuss over it. But he felt guilty when she said she will give divorce for his happiness.

"Khushi. Plz don't say now anything about this to anyone in the family. If Di knows this, it is not good for her health. She can't take this. We can say it after her delivery " said Arnav.

"I know. I won't say to anyone. You don't worry"said Khushi.

"Thank you"said Arnav and went towards his side of bed to sleep while Khushi took the pillow and went to recliner.

Arnav saw this and asked" Khushi. Why are sleeping on the recliner ??"

" When there is nothing between us then there is no meaning of sharing bed with you Arnavji."said Khushi.

"But Khushi. We still din't get divorced and separated"said Arnav.

"Our hearts separated long ago. From the second you raised about divorce and I accepted it, from that second in my view everything ended between us. So plz I can't share the same bed with you."said Khushi.

Arnav felt a sharp pain in his heart and said "Ok then you sleep on the bed I will sleep there"

"No. It's ok. This is your house and your room. It won't be wise if you sleep on the recliner. Let me sleep here"said Khushi.

"But Khushi........."Arnav is going to say something but Khushi said "Good night Arnavji." And slept on the recliner not giving him another chance to speak.
