Part 53

Khushi came out of the room lost in her thoughts when someone came in her way. She looked at Lisa and Robin in front of her.

She looked at them with a questioning gaze.

"I thought that you are an innocent girl. NO but you are very sharp and intelligent. Unbelievable. I can't stop myself from appreciating you."said Lisa.

"What are you talking ??"said Khushi irritatingly.

"You did the thing until now which many top models and rich girls not able to do."said Lisa.

"What is it ??'asked Khushi.

"Trapping ASR. Until now no girl trapped him but you did it even being married. See now because of you he din't even took me as showstopper"said Lisa

Khushi looked at them angrily.

"Don't see like that. Wait I will show one thing"said Lisa, took her mobile out showed the video which Arnav is wearing a necklace in her neck and kissing her.

Khushi was shocked to see this.

"Shocked. Aren't you ??'asked Robin.

"Seems like you trapped him completely that is why he gifted you a diamond necklace."said Lisa.

Khushi just stood there looking at them folding her hands.

"What if I send this to your husband ?? What will be his reaction ??"asked Lisa.

"NO husband can tolerate his wife cheating him. I thought that you are a traditional girl but you proved me wrong"said Robin.

"You want send this to my husband' asked Khushi calmly.

Lisa nodded her head.

"Ok. Send it if you can"said Khushi and left from there.

Both looked at her retreating figure with jaws dropped.

On the other hand Khushi met with Akash and NK. Arnav is busy with clients.

"Khushiji. Did you say to bhai ??"asked Akash.

"No Akashji. I din't get time to say him"said Khushi.

"We too are trying to say but bhai is busy"said Akash.

Then a girl came and called Khushi to come to designer section. So she left from there.

Lavanya reached the venue with her almost short dress. Shashi sighed seeing her attire.

"Don't know when she will change."thought Shashi.

Khushi came there.

"Papa. What are you thinking ??"asked Khushi.

"Nothing beta. Did you say to Arnav ??"asked Shashi.

"No papa. I din't get time"said Khushi " I hope everything goes well"

"Don't worry everything will be fine" said Shashi patting her head.

Soon the fashion show is started. The models are walking on the ramp with the designed dresses. Arnav and the clients are sitting in the front row. Arnav asked Khushi to sit beside him but she denied. Akash, NK and Khushi are standing at a side. The three of them are looking nervous.

Arnav observed them and felt something fishy.

NK saw Lavanya going towards back of the stage. So he dragged Akash along with him.

"NK. Where are you taking me ??"said Akash. NK indicated towards Lavanya. Akash understood it.

"Akash. I am afraid"said NK a bit loudly so that Lavanya can hear. Lavanya who heard their eyes kept an ear to them. Conforming that Lavanya is hearing to them they started the conversation.

"Ha NK. I am also afraid'said Akash.

"Ha what if nannav comes to know that showstopper design is missing and so dress is not ready."said NK.

"Ha NK. I can't even imagine Bhai's reaction. He will get very angry."said Akash.

"I pity for Khushiji. If Nannav comes to know that Khushiji missed the design then he will definitely get angry on Khushi. He won't even think for a minute to shout on Khushiji before everyone"said NK.

"But what can we do ??"said Akash.

"Ok. Come now we go"said NK. Both left from there.

Lavanya was elated with these news. She now badly wanted to see ASR's wrath on Khushi.

She went near Arnav who is watching the show and talking with the clients.

"ASR. Can you plz come aside ??"asked Lavanya.

"Why ??"asked Arnav.

"Plz just come aside. It's very important"said Lavanya. Arnav excusing himself went along with her to aside.

"What ??"asked Arnav irritatingly.

"ASR. a problem occurred."said Lavanya.

"What is it ??"asked Arnav.

"Showstopper dress is not ready"said Lavanya.

"What ??"asked Arnav shocked.

"Ha ASR. Actually Khushi.....I mean Khushi mam lost the design of the showstopper. So it was not ready"said Lavanya.

Akash who noticed Arnav going with Lavanya came there. He saw Arnav who is standing there dumbfounded.

"Bhai!!"called Akash.

Arnav looked at Akash.

"Akash. Is it true what Lavanya is saying about showstopper ?" asked Arnav.

"Ha bhai. Actually what happened is ......."Akash is going to say something but Arnav cutoff saying "Why din't you say me before ??"

Arnav is now hell angry. Akash din't dared to see into his eyes.

"Bhai. We thought to say"said Akash.

"When ?? After fashion show'said Arnav.

"NO bhai. I am sorry"said Akash.

"Now what we have to do ??"asked Lavanya.

Just then there came an announcement for the showstopper dress. Arnav closed his eyes feeling defeated.

But in a pause he heard a loud round of applause. Confused he opened his eyes and looked at the ramp. A model is walking with the showstopper dress. The dress almost resembles the same which he designed but he can easily say it is not the one which he designed.

Arnav got confused. He looked at the crowd who are clapping their hands and clients who have an amazing expression on their face.

He then looked at Akash who is smiling to him.

Before Arnav could ask anything Akash said "Khushiji designed it bhai"

Arnav looked at him with wide eye while Lavanya shocked.

"What ??"asked Arnav.

"Ha bhai. Someone deleted the design file from Khushiji's laptop and even the design papers too were missing. We contacted you but Aman said you were in meeting. So not to waste time I only asked Khushiji to design. She designed it and we were in office for completing the work yesterday till 2'o clock in midnight. We din't want to make you tensed so we din't inform you. From the time you returned we are trying to say this but you were busy"said Akash.

Arnav immediately hugged Akash and said" Thank you Akash"

"Bhai. You should thank Khushiji. She is the one who took whole responsibility"said Akash.

Arnav looked at Khushi who is looking at him biting her nails with tension. He gave a warm smile to her to which she relaxed.

Lavanya now really felt defeated and insulted. She understood that Akash and NK tricked her.

After a pause of bit, Arnav and the clients were called on the stage to address the crowd. The clients praised ASR for his perfection and work.It is ASR's turn to talk.

"Good evening everyone. All the members here praised me for this show. But there is nothing which I did. Today's event went well because of one person. I will give the whole credit to that person. She is none other than my wife Mrs. Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada. Plz welcome her on to the stage"said Arnav.

For a second there was a pindrop silence. Khushi looked at him with wide eye.

In the next second there was a wide range of gossiping. All are eager to see ASR's wife.

Khushi stood nervously fidgeting her saree pallu. Akash and NK forced her to go. She started with her little steps towards the stage.

Arnav came to the edge of the stage while Khushi is climbing the stairs. He extended his hand to her.

Khushi smiled to him nervously and gave her hand. Arnav brought her on to the stage with his one hand on her waist hugging her possessively sideways.

"She is my wife Mrs. Khushi Arnav singh Raizada. The whole credit of this show goes to her"said Arnav and turning to Khushi said" Thank you Khushi"

Khushi smiled to him. She is feeling nervous but trying hard to control it.

The whole staff looked at her in surprise. Lisa and Robin looked at them with out blinking their eyes. They can't believe what they are seeing. Khushi is ASR's wife.

Lavanya was initially shocked but soon fumed in anger. She fell in her own dig. She thought to degrade the value of Khushi in front of Arnav but here he gave whole credit to Khushi.

Shashi was happy for his daughter. Happy tears formed in his eyes. He is now satisfied.

Anjali and others who are all watching it in TV got happy when Arnav announced Khushi as his wife. Shyam and Sheetal fumed in anger.

The media got busy in clicking the photos of the beautiful couple.

One of the reporter asked" ASR. When were you married ??"

"Before 9 months"said Arnav.

"Love marriage or arranged marriage"asked another one.

"Arranged marriage"said Arnav.

The reporters asked some other questions which Arnav answered. Clients congratulated Khushi and praised her work. Later they excused and left from the stage.

As soon as they came to back side of stage, Arnav hugged Khushi tightly then cupped Khushi's face and said" Thank you Khushi. Thank you soo much for not letting me down"

"I'll never let you down Arnavji."said Khushi. Both shared an eyelock.
