Part 52

Khushi woke up, she saw the time. It was 8'o clock. Her eyes grew opened wide seeing it.

"Hey Devimayya. How did I sleep this much time ??"cursed Khushi to herself and ran into washroom to get ready.

When she reached downstairs, everyone are at the dining table. Akash and NK are also there.

Nani, Anjali and Payal smiled to her.

"I am sorry Naniji. I slept late in the night so couldn't get up for aarti.'said Khushi.

"It's ok bitiya. Payal said you came late night."said Nani.

"jiji I am sorry I couldn't help you in kitchen"said Khushi.

"Uffo Khushi. How many sorries you say in a day ?? I know you are tired. Now sit and have breakfast" said Payal.

"NO. I will serve all. You sit."said Khushi and forced Payal to sit.

"But Khushi....."Payal is going to something but Buaji cutoff "let her do Payal bitiya. Otherwise parameshwari can't be in peace today"

Payal nodded her head and sat down while Khushi served.

After breakfast, Khushi came down along with Buaji who have luggage in her hand.

"Devyaniji. I will take leave now "said Buaji.

"What ?? madhumatiji. Why are you leaving soo early ?? You can stay here for some more days."said Nani.

"Ha Buaji. Spend some more time with us"said Anjali.

"No bitiya. I have to return to my house. it is already more than ten days I came to delhi. Also it won't be wise to live in daughter's sasural."said Buaji.

" I too pleaded a lot Naniji but buaji is not listening"said Khushi.

"Ok. Your wish Madhumatiji"said Nani.

"But buaji next time you should spend here atleast one week"said Anjali.

"Sure bitiya. I will definitely come and spend with your child. Don't worry"said Buaji.

Anjali shied a bit. Just then NK and Akash came down ready to go for office.

Buaji went near them "NK I am leaving beta" and pinched NK's cheeks. All smuggled to themselves seeing it.

Then Buaji hugged Khushi, asked her to take care of her, then she left from there.

"I will come with my bag"said Khushi and was going upstairs but Akash stopped her and said "Khushiji. We are going to venue to check arrangements. So you stay here only. You can come in the afternoon along with bhai. If there is any work, we will call you"

"Ok Akashji"said Khushi.

"But Akash. When is chote coming ?"asked Anjali.

"Di. Bhai said he will come by 12'o clock"said Akash.

Akash and NK left from there.

IN GH:

Shashi got ready for office. His mobile rang. He saw it was from Arnav.

"Ha Arnav."said Shashi lifting the call.

" Did you reached airport ??"asked Shashi.

"Yeah. All the arrangements are done."said Shashi and disconnected the call.

Lavanya hearing her father's conversation got a doubt.

So she asked " Papa. You were talking with ASR"

Shashi nodded his head.

"But why is he in airport ? He must have returned yesterday only naa" asked Lavanya.

"NO. Arnav is coming today. He is still in Mumbai airport. He will directly reach venue."said Shashi.

Lavanya stood there shocked. She immediately went to AR to see about design but to her bad luck Akash assigned her to go store room and check for some old files. She din't even get time to look or to ask anything to other about dress.

Khushi is in her room arranging cupboard when she heard a door knock. She saw Anjali standing at the door.

"Di. Plz come in"said Khushi. Anjali came in.

"Do you need anything ??"asked Khushi.

"NO Khushiji. I just came to give this to you" said Anjali and extended a packet in her hand to Khushi.

Khushi took out, opened it. She found a white netted saree with a red border.

"Di. This saree....."said Khushi.

"I brought this for you Khushiji. You wear it for today's fashion show. You will look beautiful in this saree "said Anjali.

"Thank you Di. This is very beautiful"said Khushi.

" But I want a favour from you"said Anjali.

"What is it Di ??"asked Khushi.

"I want to eat your handmade kheer"said Anjali.

"What's is a big deal in it Di ?? I will make it tomorrow"said Khushi smiling.

"Khushiji. Did you talk with chote ?? He still din't return"said Anjali.

"Ha Di. I even tried to call him but it is coming switched off."said Khushi.

Just then Payal entered calling Khushi.

"What is it jiji ??"asked Khushi.

"Khushi. Akash called me. He asked you to come venue. Arnavji's flight got delayed by one hour. So he will come late. You have to check designs and everything there. So you have to leave now'said Payal.

Kuhsi sighed and said OK.

"Khushiji. You get ready and go"said Anjali and left from there followed by Payal.

After nearly half anhour , Arnav arrived RM. Anjali opened the door.

"Chote. You!!"excited Anjali seeing her chote and hugged him.

"Di. How are you ??"asked Arnav reciprocating the hug.

"I am fine chote."said Anjali.

"Where are others ??"said Arnav.

"Nani and mami are resting in their rooms. Payal must be in her room. Akash, NK and Khushiji went to venue."said Anjali.

"What ?? Khushi already left."asked Arnav in a disappointing tone.

"Ha Chote. She left before half an hour"said Anjali.

"Ok Di. I too have to leave. I will go and freshup"said Arnav and went to his room.

When he came down , Anjali is in the hall. Arnav informed her that he will leave but Anjali insisted him to have food to which he finally agreed. After taking food, he left for the venue dieing to see his lady love.

At the venue:

Arnav reached the venue. He knew where Khushi must be. So he directly went there.

There she is checking the dresses wearing a white colored saree. Her hairs left open. Her neck is just adored with mangalsutra and maang in her sindoor. Arnav stood there lost in her for sometime.

Khushi's heart beat raised. Her heart started to go Dhak Dhaks. She felt her Arnavji's presence.

Feeling his gaze on her she turned and looked at him who is standing at the door. Arnav stroded towards her.

"Arnavji"called Khushi softly "Are you really there ?? or Am I hallucinating ??"

Arnav chuckled for her comment and said "Khushi. I am really here."

"Sachchi"said Khushi excitedly.

"Muchchi"said Arnav pinching her nose.

Khushi hugged him immediately excited.. Though Arnav was startled but he too reciprocated to the hug.

"When did you came ?"asked Khushi coming out of the hug.

"Before sometime. I went to home to pick up but Di said you already came here"said Arnav.

"Waise. Say one thing."said Arnav.

"What ??"asked Khushi.

"Did you miss me ??"asked Arnav in a teasing tone.

"NO"said Khushi.

Arnav raised his eyebrow.

"What ?? Why are you looking like that ?? I din't missed you"said Khushi.

"Really"asked Arnav with a questioning gaze. Khushi nodded her head.

"You know one thing. I heard that those who lies, their nose gets red"said Arnav.

"I am not lieing"said Khushi covering her nose with fingers. Arnav smirked seeing her act.

"Arnavji. You are teasing me"said Khushi hitting on his chest with her hands.

"Ok ok Sorry. Now close your eyes"said Arnav.

"Why ??"asked Khushi.

"Just do as I say"said Arnav.

Khushi closed her eyes.

After a pause of bit, Arnav asked her to open her eyes.

Khushi opened her eyes and saw a jewellary box in Arnav's hands.

Arnav extended it to her saying" This is for you"

Khushi took it, opened and found a beautiful diamond necklace in it.

"Wow. Arnavji. This is soo beautiful. Thank you"said Khushi. Arnav stood there smiling.

"Can I wear it ??'asked Khushi.

"Ofcourse you can Khushi."said Arnav. "Wait I will make you wear it"

Arnav took it from Khushi's hands and made her turned backwards. He moved aside her hairs slowly. A shiver felt through her spine. He wear it in her neck. Arnav too was lost in her seeing through mirror . He slowly leaned forward and kissed on her shoulder.

Their trance is broken by Khushi's mobile. Arnav immediately moved awy from her. Khushi blushing took her mobile. It was from her father's.

"Papa"said Khushi lifting the call.

"Beta. Did Arnav arrived ??"asked Shashi.

"Ha papa. Arnavji arrived now only. When are you coming ??'asked Khushi.

"I am on the way. Khushi I think you should say Arnav about the design even before he comes to know by others"said Shashi.

"Ok papa."said Khushi and disconnected the call.

She stood there thinking what will be the Arnav's reaction.

"Khushi"called Arnav seeing her confused face.

"What happened ?? Any problem ??"asked Arnav.

"Arnavji. I want to say something important to you"said Khushi.

"What is it ??"asked Arnav seeing her serious expression.

"Actually the thing is....."Khushi was going to say when Aman entered there.

"ASR. Guests are arriving. Your presence is needed"said aman.

"Ok. I am coming"said Arnav and turning to Khushi said" Khushi. We will talk later"

"But Arnavji listen to me............."before Khushi could say anything Arnav left from there along with aman.

Khushi sighed disappointedly.
