Part 51

Feeling weird she called Arnav who picked for the second ring.

Before Khushi could say anything, Arnav said "What the hell ?? Where were you ? Why din't you lift my phone ??? Why are not talking now ?? Say something dammit"

"If you give space then only I will talk. My phone is in silent mode. So I din't picked up your call. Akashji informed me. So I called you"said Khushi.

"Ok. But do you know how tensed I was "said Arnav.

"I am sorry. It won't repeat again. "said Khushi.

"Better if you be"said Arnav.

"When you are returning ? You said you will come today "asked Khushi.

"Ha Khushi. I thought but the problem din't solved so I will come tomorrow by afternoon"said Arnav.

"Really!!"asked Khushi excitedly.

"What the.... You are feeling happy. Don't you like me coming back soon"said Arnav astonished by Khushi's excitement.

"Nothing like that Arnavji. I just asked like that"said Khushi biting her tongue for making him obvious of her reaction.

They talked for sometime and ended the call.

Arnav felt something fishy. When he talked with Akash and NK as Khushi din't pick up the call, they both felt happy when he informed that he will return tomorrow. Something is going on.

Khushi went to Akash's cabin and showed him the design. Soon everyone left after the office hours.

Akash, Khushi and Shashi along with their most trusted employees were present. They all started their work.

Akash asked Shashi to go home as Lavanya will get doubt if he won't reach. Shashi agreed and left from there asking Akash to take care of Khushi to which he assured he will.

NK and Lavanya were returning from Agra. It is already 7'o clock.

"I am feeling hungry. Plz stop here."said Lavanya seeing a restaurant on highway

"No. I won't stop. There is only ten minutes to reach Delhi."said NK driving car.

As soon as they reached into Delhi, NK stopped the car.

"Get down"said NK sternly.

"What !!" said Lavanya shocked.

"Can't you hear ?? Get down from the car"said NK irritatingly.

"Why ?? My house still din't came"said Lavanya confused.

"Do you want me to leave at your house. I am not your driver and this is not your car. Get out'said NK.

"NO. I won't go anywhere. You have to leave at my house. I will complain ASR" said Lavanya in a threatening tone.

NK now got angry. He got down from the car, dragged Lavanya out of the car forcibly.

"Go and complain ASR about this too"said NK, sat in his car.

"How can you do this to a girl ??"asked Lavanya.

"Exactly. I too thought you as a girl and about your father. That is why I am leaving you here otherwise I would have left you in the Agra itself"said NK.

"How can I go now ??"asked Lavanya.

"As your wish. By walk, by auto or by any other means. I don't care" said NK.

"But I can't find any auto here. I have to walk for another two km for any vehicle."said Lavanya.

"It's your problem. "said NK carelessly and drove off.Cursing her fate, Lavanya started walking to reach home.

IN AR:

The work is going on quickly. It is already 8'o clock. NK directly came to the office. Akash already informed in the house they will be late. So don't wait for them. As all of them knew what tomorrow is din't object them.

Anjali thought to send food to all of them but Payal insisted that she will take it.

Payal reached AR with food. She saw all are working in their own world. No one noticed her.

Sighing she went near Akash.Akash looked at her surprisingly.

"Payal. You !!"said Akash. All looked at her.

"Payal babhi. Why you came here ??"asked NK.

"I brought food for you all"said Payal.

"But what is the need of that ?? We would have something here"said Khushi.

"Ofcourse there is need. I very well know you all forgot about food while working. So I brought it here"said Payal.

Driver brought the food luggage and kept there.

"I brought food for all of you. First have food and then do your work"said Payal.

After having dinner, all again sat down to work. Payal left from there.

Khushi is immersed in work when her phone rang. She lifted without seeing caller id.

"Khushi"called Arnav.

"Haan I am Khushi talking. Who is this ??"asked Khushi immersed in work.

"What the ......Khushi. It's me"said Arnav.

Khushi recognized the voice and bit her tongue.

"Arnavji. Aap "said Khushi.

"Where were you lost ??'asked Arnav.

"Nothing I was just thinking about something'said Khushi.

"About me"asked Arnav with mischievous tone.

" Arnavji. Did you had your dinner ??'asked Khushi changing topic.

Arnav smiled to her this act and hmmed.

"When will you come ??"asked kuhsi.

"By tomorrow afternoon"said Arnav.

"OK Arnavji. I am feeling sleepy. Good night "said Khushi and disconnected the call.

"What the...."muttered Arnav and drove off to his sleep.

On the other hand Lavanya is in her room with her legs paining. She walked nearly four km to hire an auto. She cursed NK a lot. I will show him what I am when I will make ASR mine. Her mother massaged her legs.

By now ASR should have returned from Mumbai and came to know about the missing of design. He must have shouted on Khushi with angry. I missed that scene. She was worrying for that. She observed Shashi is tensed a little bit but can't get even a slightest hint from his father. He is master at hiding things especially about Khushi, his loving daughter. She have to wait until tomorrow to know what happened. No matter, ASR angry won't reduce easily, so she can see his anger towards Khushi.

IN AR:

All the work have been completed. It is already 2'o clock in the night. The dress is completed. All looked at it contented and satisfied.

"Wow Khushiji. It is very nice" complemented NK.

"Thank you NK ji'said Khushi.

"Really Khushiji. It is looking similar to the one which bhai designed. No one can recognize it unless observing it closely. "said Akash then turning to others said" Thank you all for staying here and helping us. You all can leave. I arranged for a car"

They all congratulated them and left from there.

Khushi stood there thinking.

"Khushiji. shall we leave ??'asked NK.

"Ha okk. I am feeling guilty for not saying Arnavji about this. I think we should inform him"said Khushi.

"Yes Khushiji. We have to say bhai about this. We will say him tomorrow before starting of fashion show"said Akash.

Khushi and NK nodded their heads.

The trio left to the RM. The whole house is silent and dark. They saw Payal sleeping on the sofa.

"Payal"called Akash shooking her shoulder.

Payal opened her eyes and looked at them.

"Why are you sleeping here ??"asked Khushi.

"I was waiting for you people"said Payal.

"But you could have slept in the room."said Akash.

"It's ok. Now come let us sleep"said Payal.

They bid good night and left to their respective rooms.

Khushi came into her room and saw buaji sleeping soundly. She too lied beside her thinking today's events. Don't know how Arnavji will react after hearing this. with these thoughts she drifted to sleep.

Next morning:

IN RM:
Everyone are at the pooja mandir.

"Where is Khushi bitiya ??"asked Nani wondering as everyday Khushi will arrange everything.

"She is still sleeping. I tried to wake up her but she din't"said Buaji in a apologizing tone.

"And even Akash and NK are missing too"said Shyam. All noticed it.

"Naniji. They came at 2.30 at night due to heavy work. So they all must be sleeping'said Payal.

"They are working very hard. Even chote is also not there to handle" said Nani in a worrying tone.

"Akash said a problem came up in last minute. So it took much time for them." said Payal.

All nodded their heads and continued with the pooja.
