Part 45

It was already 7'o clock when Khushi and Arnav both arrived. Everyone are busy in their own works. They went to their room straight.

After freshening, Arnav sat down before his laptop to work while Khushi went to kitchen to help Payal in preparing dinner.

After dinner, everyone are sitting in the hall when NK came there.

"NK. Did you had your dinner ?"asked Anjali.

"Haan Di."said NK sitting on the sofa.

"How was your day ?"asked Anjali.

"Very nice. I enjoyed a lot with my friends"said NK happily.

"Hey Nannav. Did you miss me ?"asked NK.

Arnav raised his eyebrow, "No. Wihtout you at office, my day went peaceful"

"NK bhai. Why do you think Chote will miss you when Khushiji is beside him ?"said Anjali.

"What happened Di ?"asked NK.

"Don't you know. I will say" said Anjali and narrated the whole incident in the office at photo shoot.

"Wow nannav. You did a great job and that Lisa, Robin how dare they ?"said NK too said angrily.

"But Di. How did you came to know ?"asked Arnav.

"Chote. My network always follows you. Also I heard one more thing"said Anjali.

"What!!"asked Arnav.

"That you started romancing with Khushiji in office'said Anjali giggling.

Arnav and Khushi both looked at her stunned and their eyes instantly travelled to Akash who lowered his head. Shyam fumed in anger.

"Really Di !!!"asked NK.

Anjali nodded her head.

To escape from the embarrassment, Arnav went from there to his room and Khushi ran into kitchen saying they have some work. Whole family bursted out into laugh except Shyam.

At the Night:

Khushi came into kitchen to take water when she heard a voice "Khushiji"

It din't take her more time to recognize the voice. Rolling off her eyes she turned and looked at Shyam who is standing with his evil smile.

"Do you want anything Bhai ?"asked Khushi.

Shyam's smile faded away and he said angrily "Khushiji. Please how many times I have to say you not to call me bhai"

"Ok then jijaji. What do you want ?"asked Khushi.

Shyam closed his eyes in frustration but composed himself soon.

" I just came here to clarify a doubt from you"said Shyam.

"What ??"asked Khushi raising her eyebrow.

" All are happy today hearing that Arnav shouted on Lisa and Robin for you. right!! "said Shyam.

Khushi just stood there staring not able to get his words.

"Khushiji. Why din't Arnav announce you as his wife when this all happened. Any husband who loves his wife will announce the same when this type of situation comes. But why din't Arnav do that ?"asked Shyam.

Khushi was startled by his question. He is right. She din't think about it until now. She stood still not knowing what to say as she herself don't know the answer.

"What happened ? Din't find any answer ?"asked Shyam. She din't say anything.

"I will say why Arnav din't say about you... Because he wants to get rid of you. He doesn't want to lose his bachelor image in front of this world..... Also Khushiji you are not his status..You are just a typical daughter in law. You don't know anything about style.. But Arnav, he is ASR, king of Fashion world. His single glance is enough to rule the industry.... Many famous models are there to throw themselves to him..... Many businessmen are ready to give their daughters hand to him. Do you think he will leave all that and announce you as wife. He is just now using you for his office work and to regain his old position by upcoming fashion show. After that fashion show, he will definitely get rid of you anyway. ... just think for once Khushiji. What is the status of you and ASR ? Is it possible for you to become Mrs. ASR ? You don't even match him in any aspect.......He is not your innocent Arnavji whom you married..... He is a ruthless, cold hearted ASR "said Shyam and went from there creating a havoc in Khushi's heart.

But all this is heard by another person. It is none another than our ASR.

Arnav came to look for Khushi. He saw her in kitchen and while coming he got a call. He went aside to talk.

He is observing Khushi when he saw Shyam entering into kitchen. Shyam couldn't see him as he is behind pillar.

Arnav quickly disconnected the call and went to stop Shyam but he heard their whole conversation.

He just wanted to punch that Shyam for trying to create a misunderstanding between him and Khushi.

He too desparately want to announce this world about Khushi. He even thought where and how should he announce it but this snake is spoiling it.

He then looked at Khushi who is standing there lost with her thoughts.

He went near kitchen and called" Khushi!!!" softly.

Khushi came out of her trance and looked at him.

"What are you doing here standing still ?"asked Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head as if nothing.

"Come. Let's go"said Arnav. Khushi followed him silently.

After sometime, when Arnav came out of the washroom, he saw Khushi sitting on the bed with laptop on her lap lost somewhere in her thoughts.

"Khushi!!!"called Arnav.

Khushi looked at him.

"What happened ? Why are you looking worried ?"asked Arnav.

"Nothing like that Arnavji"said Khushi.

"No there is something. Do you want me ask something ?"asked Arnav.

Khushi looked at him puzzled and said "NO. I am just tensed about tomorrow's presentation. It is my first time naa"

" No need for you to worry. I am there naa for you. Did you complete the presentation ?"said Arnav looking into her eyes.

"No. I am just preparing it"said Khushi.

"Ok. You carryon it. I will do my work"said Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head smiling.

He too sat down to work. In between he is glancing her who lost in work completely forgetting everything happened before sometime. He felt relief.

Arnav is working on his lap when Khushi called him.

"What happened Khushi ?"asked Arnav.

"I prepared the presentation. You check it and say any changes"said Khushi.

Arnav took her laptop and checked the presentation. He suggested changes to be made in it.

"Arnavji. If you give showstopper dress design then the everything is ready for presentation"said Khushi.

"OK. I will give it tomorrow before meeting"said Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head.

"Now. Go and sleep. It is already late"said Arnav.

"Ok. But you too sleep and stop working"said Khushi.

"Just some more work is left. I will sleep completing it"said Arnav.

Khushi went and slept on her side of bed.

After sometime, Arnav too came and slept on the bed. He saw Khushi who is sleeping with a cute pout. He took her hand into his and slept looking her.
