Part 41

After sometime in the kitchen:

Lavanya rushed in there while Garima is cutting vegetables.

"Mom. What is this ? Now why did buaji came ? She will always scolds me"said Lavanya.

"She not only scolds you but also me"said Garima.

"Ok. Now leave about her. Think about this chamkili. I wanted to fall in ASR's good looks. But she is spoiling everything.. She is not even leaving him for a second. Then how can I fall in his eyes"said Lavanya irritatingly.

"I already made a plan for it"said Garima.

"What!!!!!!!"asked Lavanya excitedly.

Garima indiacted her towards cabbage. Lavanya understood what she is going to do.

"Khushi has Allergy to cabbage. So I am keeping this cabbage in every curry today. You know if she eats it, she can't able to get up from bed for two days with scars all over her body. You can utilize this time"said Garima.

"Wow mom. What an idea. You are genius"said Lavanya happily.

At the Dinner time:

Garima called everyone for Dinner. All arrived and took their places. Lavanya started to serve Arnav.

Khushi is serving herself when Arnav said" Khushi. You serve uncle and Buaji"

"No No beta. It's Ok. We can serve ourselves"said Shashi and Buaji.

"Khushi. What are you just seeing them ? You serve them. They are elders. Should I teach you how to respect elders ?"said Arnav in a stern voice

Khushi confused for Arnav's behaviour started to serve Shashi and Buaji.

In this meanwhile, Arnav took a bite of paratha into his mouth. In the next minute, he started to cough vigorously.

All looked at him tensed. Khushi rushed to him and started to rub his back to sooth him.

After a pause of time, Arnav became normal.

"Arnavji. Are you ok ?"asked Khushi with a lot of concern.

"Did you guys put cabbage in the curry ?"asked Arnav.

Both Garima and Lavanya looked shocked. They din't know what to say. Khushi and others were confused for his confusion.

Garima said" NO NO beta. We din't add cabbage"

"No. You added cabbage that is why I got cough like this because I have allergy from cabbage"said Arnav.

Garima and Lavanya looked at him shocked while Khushi confused.

"Beta. We just added some amount in all curries so that it would be tasty"said Garima fearing.

" Isn't there a single curry without cabbage ?"asked Khushi..

Garima nodded her head as No.

Arnav is waiting for the opportunity and was going to shout but before he could , Buaji shouted angrily" What !!!!!!!! You people made all curries with cabbage. You were trying to make Arnav bitwa ill."

"No NO jiji. It is not like that. I don't know he had allergy with cabbage"said Garima.

"Very good. You don't know that Arnav bitwa have allergy with cabbage but you know naa Khushi has allergy to cabbage. Then why did you made it. You people din't even find it necessary to ask about Arnav bitwa's likes and dislikes before inviting them. You were serving him with the food to which he is allergic. You even don't know how to respect the son in law of the house. Why I am saying this to you ? It is waste of saying to you"said Buaji angrily.

Garima stood there lowering her head.

Then Buaji turning to Arnav said" Beta. Sorry for what happened."

"No NO Buaji. It's ok. It's not your fault" said Arnav.

"Ok. I will cook something"said Buaji and was going when Khushi stopped her and s said" Buaji. I will make food for Arnavji. You people continue"

"Ok. Make for you too. But it is very wondering me. Both husband and wife having allergy with cabbage"said Buaji surprising and continued with dinner.

On the other hand Khushi made food for her and Arnav. They both too had their dinner in the room.

Buaji is in her room thinking about Arnav and Khushi. Shashi said him about their marriage from the start. She felt very sorry for her titaliya. She love her a lot. She always wished for her happiness. She very well knew how Garima and Lavanya used to taunt her....... She once asked Shashi that she will take Khushi with her so that she would be free from their taunting....... But Khushi plainly refused thinking she may be a burden to her. Also she has to take care of her father......... She knew Garima taunts her father if she goes. ....Garima din't dare to taunt Khushi infront of Buaji. So Buaji and her son used to come in the holidays. Her Son Arvind too consider Khushi as his own sister... Now her titaliya got good husband and family. She is happy now... But what made her angry is Garima forced Khushi to marry a person like Arnav... It is devimaaya's blessings that she made Arnav fit and healthy.

Buaji is in this thoughts when something clicked in her mind. She bought a gift for them. She started towards Arshi room.

In Arshi room:

"Arnavji. Why did you do that ?"asked Khushi frowning

"What did I do ?'asked Arnav innocently.

"Don't act smart. Why did you say you are allergic to cabbage when you are not ?"asked Khushi.

" I heard both Lavanya and her mother talking about adding cabbage in food so that you will suffer. I just thought back fire their plan"said Arnav.

"You could have said me naa. "said Ksuhi.

"What will you do if I say ? You can't do anything Khushi. You can't even say a word gainst them. But buaji disappointed me very much"said Arnav.

"Buaji!! What did she do ?"asked Khushi confused

"She took my chance of shouting. I thought to shout at them but buaji interrupted. How dare they even to try hurt my wife ?"said Arnav. Khushi looked at him amusingly.

Their trance is broken by a door knock. They saw Buaji standing at the door.

"Did I disturb you ?"asked Buaji

" NO No Buaji. You still din't sleep"asked Khushi.

"No. I just came to give you something "said Buaji coming inside.

"What is it ?"asked Khushi.

Buaji gave a gift box to Khushi. She opened and saw a beautiful ear rings in it.

"Buaji. What is there need for this ?"asked Khushi

"I thougth to give you for marriage but I din't attend your marriage. So I am giving you now"said Buaji.

"Thank you buaji"said Khushi

Buaji then gave another box to Arnav saying" This is for you"

Arnav took it and found a watch in it.

"It may not be costly bitwa"said Buaji hesitating.

"No Buaji. Don't think like that. We just want your blessings"said Arnav.

Buaji felt happy and said" Ok now I will leave"

Buaji came out happily. She heard the whole conversation between Arshi. She is impressed with Arnav. Her respect towards Arnav grew more. She can now be in peace that her titaliya is in safe hands.

Night in GH:

Arnav is talking with Aman on phone. Khushi arranged the bed and waiting for Arnav to end the call.

Arnav looked at her and asked" Do you want to say something ?'

"Yes. Actually the bed here is small so you sleep on the bed and I will sleep on the floor"said Khushi.

"Why ? We both can sleep on the bed"said Arnav.

"But......"stammered Khushi.

"It's Ok Khushi if you won't feel comforatable"said Arnav.

"No. I din't mean it"said Khushi.

"Then what's the problem "asked Arnav.

" You are habituated to big bed, you will feel uncomfortable Arnavji"said Khushi.

"It's ok Khushi. I won't feel uncomfortable"said Arnav.

"Ok then"said Khushi. They both slept on the bed facing their back to each other.

After an almost one hour, Arnav got up from sleep. He couldn't sleep without AC. Nevertheless how many times he tried he can't sleep. Sweat started to pour.

Khushi stirred in sleep and saw Arnav sitting on the bed.

"What happened Arnavji ?'asked Khushi

"Nothing!"said Arnav. Khushi got up and saw Arnav sweating. She understood why he is like that.

She thought for a while and said" Arnavji. Come with me"

"Where???"asked Arnav.

"You just come with me"said Khushi taking blankets.

"Khushi. What........"Arnav was going to say something but she closed his mouth with her hand.

"shhhhhh. Why are you behaving like I am kidnapping you. Don't talk. Simply follow me. Others will wake up." Whispered Khushi.

Arnav nodded his head. Khushi hold his hand and came out of the home, she started to staircase and brought him to terrace.

"Why did you brought me here ?"asked Arnav.

"To sleep. See how cool the weather here is"said Khushi. Arnav din't say anything. She is correct.

Khushi spread the blankets and looking at Arnav said"Come Arnavji. Sleep"

Arnav nodded his head and lied down. Khushi slept beside him.

"Khushi. You like to sleep like this on terrace"asked Arnav.

"ha Arnavji. I love it a lot. This cool atmosphere , open air especially under the sky with lot of stars and moonlight"said Khushi excited.

"Do you often sleep here ?"asked Arnav.

"No. I rarely gets chance. Whenever buaji comes, me , Buaji and Arvind bhaiya sleep here"said Khushi.

"Arvind!!!"asked Arnav.

"Ha. Arvind bhaiyya is Buaji's son. He is elder than me.Buaji's husband died when bhaiyya is 10 years. Buaji alone brought him up by her husband's pension and with the houses which they gave rent. Bhaiyya too studied well and he is working in a good company. Buaji loves me a lot"said Khushi.

Arnav said" I can see it"

"Ok. Now sleep. We have to leave tomorrow morning"said Khushi. Both drifted into sleep.
