Part 20

In the office:

Whole staff is very happy as well as afraid to see ASR after two years of time.

They were afraid as ASR won't tolerate any mistake in the work. If it is Akash, he excuses for the first time but ASR never do's it. So they have to work with more cautious not to face the wrath of ASR.

Arnav's cabin which have been closed for these two years was renewed for his arrival.

Aman Mathur, manager cum best friend of ASR was very happy due to ASR's return. Even though he is the one who faces ASR's wrath more but still he knows he is a good person.

After breakfast, The whole morning session, Arnav was busy with Akash and NK knowing about the status of AR in the past two years.

In the afternoon, Akash and NK went out of Arnav's cabin. Arnav rested in his chair by keeping his head back on the chair. Someone knocked the door. He asked to come in.

HP arrived inside with a bag in his hand.

"What the...What are you doing here ?"asked Arnav.

"Arnav bhai. Woo Khushi bhabhi sent food for you"said HP.

"What did you say ?? Khushi bhabhi!! Why are you calling Khushi as bhabhi "asked Arnav doubtfully.

HP bit his tongue for slipping his tongue.

"Woo bhaiya. Khushi bhabhi is also like Payal bhabhi for me. So I call her like that. Is it wrong ?"asked HP keeping innocent face.

"No. But Khushi send food for me "said Arnav.

"No bahiyya. Khushi bhabhi send food for three of you"said HP.

"Ok. You leave"said Arnav.

HP kept the bag on the table and reminded Arnav his tablets as Khushi told him and returned from there.

Then the phone on his table rang. It was NK's. He forgot while moving out. Arnav saw the caller id. It was from Khushi.

Arnav lifted the phone and was going to say hello but before that Khushi said" NKji. I sent food along with HPji. I think he must have reached by now. I also sent Arnavji's tablets. So make sure that he take his tablets. Why aren't you saying anything."

"If you give time, then only I can talk"said Arnav.

Khushi recognized his voice and stammered "Arnavji.You !!"

"Ahh. It's me. "said Arnav.

" This is NKji's phone. So I thought he must have lifted my phone"said Khushi.

"Don't you feel it necessary to know talking with whom when you phone someone."said Arnav.

"Why didn't you say when I am talking ?"asked Khushi.

"You are not giving time to other side person even to respond."said Arnav.

Khushi didn't say anything.

"Forget it. Why did you send food for me?"asked Arnav.

"Because eating outside food is not good for health. I haven't send it only for you. I send it for NKji and Akashji too."said Khushi.

"Why did you call NK to remind my tablets ?"asked Arnav.

"Because Di said me to do soo"said Khushi. She is now frustrated by Arnav's interrogation. He can feel her frustration.. He want to tease her more..

"That's it"said Arnav.

"What else more than that ?"said Khushi.

"Why are you calling my Di as Di ?"asked Arnav/

"Why only you have rights to call Anjaliji as Di ? I too call her as Di. She only asked me to do so. What's your problem in that ? seems like you don't have any work now but I have a lot of work."said Khushi and disconnected the phone.

"What the....... She cut disconnected my call...........Unbelievable. "muttered Arnav to himself.

In the afternoon Khushi went to Anjali's room to give her medicines. Nani and Anjali are present there.

Khushi too sat with them. Nani observed Khushi thiNKing about something. She was looking as if she came to ask something but couldn't.

"Khushi bitiya. Do you want to ask something ?"asked Nani. Khushi nodded her head as NO.

"Don't get afraid bititya. Ask me what you want ?"asked Nani.

"Naniji woo..........who is Arnavji's first wife ?"asked Khushi hesitating.

Nani and Anjali looked at each other shocked. But they realized about NK's comments morning.

"Ha Khushiji. There is one whom Chote loves soo much"said Anjali.

Khushi's face went pale and confused hearing it..

"Anjali bitiya. Don't tease her."asked Nani.

"Sorry Nani. " then turning to Khushi"Khushiji. Chote's first wife is his laptop and Sasural is office"

Khushi looked at her with wide eye and her mouth opened into a big O. she looked at Nani who assured her with eyes.

"That means..............Di you have frightened me"said Khushi faking anger.

"Sorry"said Anjali holding ears.'

"Chote was always busy with his laptop in work.. So NK teases him saying laptop as his first wife."said Anjali " But Nani have you observed. Someone here is soo possessive of her husband. Isn't it Khushiji ?"

Khushi blushed hearing this and said" Di. aap bhi naa" and went from there.

In the Evening:

Arnav, Akash and NK returned from office. Anjali and others are sitting in the hall. The trio sat on the sofa.

"Chote. Are you ok ?"asked Anjali.

"I am more than fine Di"said Arnav.

"Ok. But don't stress so much"said Anjali.

Arnav nodded his head. He was looking for Khushi but couldn't find her. He wanted to ask his Di but couldn't.

"Ok Di. I will go to my room"said Arnav and went upstairs.

After sometime:

He was engrossed in his work. He din't hear her voice from the time he came.

"Did she left ?"thought Arnav.

The feeling that she may be left was making him restless.

His thoughts were disturbed by a door knock. He saw Sheetal standing there with a juice tray in her hand.

Arnav raised his eyebrow and engrossed in his work.

"ASR. See I brought juice for you. I made it"said Sheetal.

" I didn't ask for any juice."said Arnav without looking at her.

"But I thought that you will be tired. So I made it with my own hands"said Sheetal faking a smile.

"No need. Go from here "said Arnav.

"Why aren't you taking Arnav ?"came a voice. He lifted his head and saw Shyam with his evil smile.

Shyam came near him and said" Arnav. I know you must be angry with us. But we changed. Now I want to be happy with my Ranisahiba and my Rajkumari. Sheetal too is changed in these two years. You know how much sad she felt when you met with accident. She only used to take care of you these two years. She loves you a lot"

Arnav raised his eyebrow.

"I know you won't believe us. But we are not lieing. But we will wait until then"said Shyam and went from there.

Sheetal too faking her tears said" ASR. You won't believe us naa. See one day you will definitely regret for your decision."and went from there with her fake tears.

While going Sheetal turned and said" ASR. But it is true that I love you"

Arnav rolled off his eyes. He wanted to threw both brother and sister out of the house at this moment.

"You both think that you are soo smart. But ASR is not a fool to believe you. Love............my foot" thought Arnav to himself.

He felt irritated and went downstairs. There were no body in the hall. Everyone is in their rooms.

He felt a gesture of wind indicating that Khushi is somewhere near him. his steps took according to his heart towards kitchen with out knowing him.

There she is, standing on the stool to take something from the cupboard.

A smile crept on his face seeing her.

But suddenly he recognized that the stool is not in good condition and it is swinging and in no minute Khushi is going to fall but two strong hands held her safely.

Khushi slowly opened her eyes to see that she was safe. She saw Arnav looking at her amusingly. She was drowned in his chocolate brown eyes.

Soon both realized their position and Arnav kept her down. Both felt embarrassed and didn't dared to look each other.

"Chote"came a voice from behind.

They both saw Anjali.

"What are you doing here ?'asked Anjali.

"Di. woooo............ water........water"said Arnav and went from there even before she could ask more.

Anjali looked at him confused and saw Khushi who faked a smile engrossed in her work.

Anjali felt something fishy.
