Part 12

Next day:

Khushi is sitting at the poolside engrossed in stitching something when Arnav came there calling her name.

Khushi looked at him. he was standing with his one hand behind him as if he is hiding something.

"What happened Arnavji ? Do you need anything ? What are you hiding from me ?"asked Khushi frowning.

"You get up and come here "said Arnav indicating to come infront of him.

Khushi did as he told. Then Arnav sat on his knees and extended his hiding hand with a red rose.

Khushi looked at him confused.

"I LOVE YOU Khushi. Will you accompany me in my entire life"said Arnav.

Khushi is shocked as well as beyond happy to hear these words from his mouth. She is waiting for this moment. Unknowing to her, tears made their way from her eyes.

Arnav got panicked to see her reaction and stood up.

"What happened Khushi ? Did I said anything wrong ?"asked Arnav.

Khushi immediately hugged him and said" I love you too Arnavji"

Arnav brought her out of the hug and said" No Khushi. This is not the dialogue which that heroine said"

Khushi looked at him confusingly.

"What heroine ?"asked ksuhi.

"Yes. Me and NK watched a movie. In that hero proposed heroine like this. So I thought to say you. There the heroine just gave her hand into his hand nodding his head but here you hugged me and said you too love me"said Arnav pouting his face.

Khushi felt disappointed but didn't say anything. Arnav wiped her tears.

"You don't cry. It's ok. "said Arnav. Arnav called NK who is standing at the door.

"Show me how you shooted "asked Arnav.

"What ?"asked Khushi.

"Yes. NK shooted whatever I did now "said Arnav proudly. NK showed him.

Arnav took it and showed to Khushi. Khushi smiled to him.

"Ok. I will go and show it to everyone."said Arnav

"No "said NK and they both began to drag it. In that process it fell on the ground and broke into pieces.

"Nannav. What you did ? You broke up my videocam"said NK. Arnav stood helpless. NK went away from there angrily.

After NK, went from there Khushi said" Arnavji. What you did ? See now NK ji's videocam broken and he is angry. You should not do like that"

Arnav put a cute pout face.

Seeing his cute face, Khushi said "It's ok. I will talk to NKji"

"No. I will say sorry to him"said Arnav and went to NK's room.

After sometime, he came back with a fallen face.

"What happened Arnavji ?"asked Khushi.

"NK went out"said Arnav sadly.

" It's ok. You ask him after he returns"said Khushi. Arnav nodded his head and sat down watching TV.

Khushi observed these days he is watching news more than his cartoons.

After sometime, when NK returned Arnav went to his room. He saw Akash and NK murmuring something.

"This is the secret between us only. No one should know about this"said Akash.

"But I know"said Arnav. They both turned and shocked to see Arnav standing there.

"What are you planning both ?"asked Arnav suspiciously.

"Nothing Bhai. Just like that"stammered Akash.

"Lies."said Arnav. They both didn't know what to say.

"If you won't say then I will go and announce in the house that you both are planning something against me"said Arnav in a threatening manner.

Akash and Nk looked at him gasping..

"Bhai plz don't do this. "said Akash.

"Then say me what are you talking ?"asked Arnav folding his hands.

Akash was going to say something but Arnav stopped him.

"I have one condition"said Arnav.

"What ??"asked both.

"NK should forgive me for breaking his handicam"said Arnav

"But you didn't say sorry for me" exclaimed NK.

"So what ? I won't say sorry to anyone. "said Arnav in ASR tone. NK rolled of his eyes while Akash looked at his Bhai amused

"Did you forgive me or else I will go and announce in the house"said Arnav threatening.

"No NO. I forgave you"said NK giving up.

"Say me what are you both talking ?"asked Arnav.

"Nothing Bhai. I brought gift for Payal. I want to give surprise to her by giving this. I am asking to NK to hide it in his room"said Akash.

"Is tomorrow is Payal's birthday ??"asked Arnav.

"No Nannav. Tomorrow is valentines day. Every husband gives gift to his wife. So Akash brought it"said NK.

"Where is the gift ?"asked Arnav. Akash showed him a beautiful necklace brought for Payal.

Seeing it, Arnav to got an idea in to his brain.

Next morning:

As usual sun rise in the east. Shantivan is full of peace not knowing what is going to come in few hours.

Arnav woke up early than everyday. Khushi came into room to wake him up. But when she came, Arnav had already taken bath. He is getting ready.

"Arnavji. You got up soo early today."asked Khushi.

"Yes. I am going to NK's room"said Arnav.

"He must be sleeping"said Khushi.

"No problem. I will wake him up"said Arnav.

"Why to disturb him Arnavji ? If you have any work, say me I will do it"said Khushi.

" NO. I want only NK's help"said Arnav.

"Why ?"asked Khushi suspiciously.

"These days you are asking too many questions. I don't like anyone questioning me. I will do whatever I want. No one has the right to question me"said Arnav irritatingly.

Khushi opened her mouth into a big O and murmured laadgoverner kahike.

"Now. What are you seeing ? Go from here."said Arnav. Khushi stepped out of the room twisting her mouth.

After she went, Arnav took Khushi's purse and took her debit card, went to NK's room.

When Arnav went into NK's room, he was still sleeping. Arnav went near him.

"NK wake up"said Arnav shooking his shoulder.

"Nannav. Let me sleep"said NK in a sleepy tone.

"You lazy guy. Wake up. I want to go out"said Arnav hitting him with his hands.

"I want to sleep. I won't come. If you want you can go by yourself"said NK in a sleepy tone.

Arnav made several attempts to wake up NK but all go in vain.

Arnav thought " I think I must go by myself. He is not waking up" and left from there with out notice of any one. Khushi and Anjali went to mandir while Payal is in kitchen.

After sometime, everyone assembled at breakfast table except Arnav. Khushi and Anjali returned from mandir, they came near dining table.

"Where is Arnavji ?"asked Khushi.

"He must be still sleeping"said Payal.

"Don't know why chote is sleeping too much today"said Nani.

"No Naniji. He woke up early. I will see him"said Khushi and went upstairs.

After few minutes, Khushi came down with a tension face.

"Di. Arnavji is not there in the house. I have checked everywhere "said Khushi with fear..

All are shocked to hear this.

"Khushiji. Where will chote go ? Did you search well ?"asked Anjali.

"Ha Di. I have checked everywhere"said Khushi

"Ok. We all search him"said Anjali and all the members searched for Arnav.

They came into the hall falling their faces off.

Seeing it Khushi sat on the sofa with a thud with tears in her eyes.

"Di. Where must Arnavji be gone ?"said Khushi crying. Payal sat beside Khushi consoling her. Anjali is also crying.

"Stop you both. Nothing will happen to chote"said Nani.

"Khushiji. When did you see bhai last ?'asked Akash.

"In the room morning. He woke up early than everyday. I asked him why. He said he had some work."said Khushi then remembered something and said" He said he is going to NKji's room"

All at once looked at NK. Then NK remembered how he shout at Arnav. NK got frightened seeing them.

"NK. Did chote come to your room ?"asked Anjali. He didn't say anything.

"NK. Why aren't you saying anything ? "asked Akash.

"Woo Di. Nannav came to my room and asked me to come along with him". and explained whatever happened.

"NKji. How can you do this ? Why did you neglect Arnavji ? I even asked him if he have any work I would accompany him but he said that he have work with NK ji only. How much important must be the work when he wanted only you to accompany him ? Now because of your negligence Arnavji went out"shouted Khushi angrily.

NK as well as others were astonished to see this side of Khushi.

"Khushi" came a voice from behind.

All turned and saw Arnav standing at the door. Shashi was along with him.

All rushed to him. Khushi went and hugged him.

"Arnavji. Where did you went ? Why didn't you tell me ? How could you even go without informing anyone ? What do you think of yourself ?"shouted Khushi angrily.

" You shouted at me. I won't talk to you"said Arnav and went upstairs with a packet in his hand.

Shashi said" Khushi. Why did you shout at him ? He came out to bring a gift for you "

Khushi looked at him surprised and said "Gift!! For me. But papa where did you find Arnavji ?"

"Actually I went out on a work. When I was crossing road, I saw Arnav beta standing on the road. I went near him. He said he forget the way to house. When I asked him why he was there. He said that he came to buy a gift for you"said Shashi.

Khushi thanked her papa and Shashi went back.

"Khushi bitiya. Chote is angry. Go and pacify him"said Nani. Khushi nodded her head and went from there.

After Khushi went, Shyam said" RS. What is this ? How could Khushiji shout at Arnav and be angry with him."

"Shyamji. You are seeing only the anger of Khushiji but I can see how much she loves chote"said Anjali. Others nodded their heads in affirmative.
