EXTRA STORY 1: MY LITTLE MEMORY
(FOLLOWED DEVAN KEY'S POINT)
"Mom!!!! Brother Collins took my cake!!!"
I shouted. I thought I would be defended by my mother, but there was a cup right in the middle of my forehead. Mother turned and said:
"Collins, stop making fun of me and Devan, mom looks at me, "you're six years old too. Don't cry anymore."
"Weep, weep, weep, weep."
"Collins."
Mom reminded. When he heard that, he stopped teasing me, ran out to the playground before and didn't forget to come back and kiss his mother's cheek. I also stood up, went to my mother to hug and then imitate my second brother, I gave her a kiss on the cheek. I say:
"May I go out and play."
My mother smiled gently and replied:
"Yes, go. Be careful not to go too far."
"Yes."
I replied and ran away. I ran to the yard in front of the house, a small yard, not as vast as the courtyards of luxury villas we often see on TV. No! My houseyard is not that big.
However, despite owning a limited area, my yard is fortunate to have a very smooth and green lawn. I ran out and lay there, looking up at the sky. Today the sky is blue, a beautiful blue color, a few white clouds like snow drifting away, the sun is a bit harsh at this time. I lie there looking at the sky but my eyes keep squinting. It's so hard to look like this!
Then another silhouette stood right in front of the harsh sunlight, creating a rather pleasant shade, providing a temporary shade. My eyes were half-lidded and was about to fall asleep when a noise came into. A sharp blow made me sit up immediately, my eyes were filled with fireflies, and I looked around in panic.
Who's playing like that?
"Hey, why are you always sleeping?"
Collins stood in front of me and asked.
"I didn't."
I denied. Collins didn't say anything and asked me:
"Going to the stream to catch fish?"
"But mom told me not to go far."
He waved his hands and laughed.
"Man! Mom mean going into the forest, it's dangerous to go to the forest. And this is going to the stream to catch fish, what can happen?"
I see that my brother was reasonable, nodding in agreement. Then my brother pulled me up and the two of us strolled out to the stream in the hot noonday heat.
[...]
"I'm so tired! Are we there come yet, brother?"
I lamented. The two of us were now drenched in sweat because of the sweltering sun, the second brother went ahead, did not turn back, replied:
"Soon! A little more."
I panted. It's too hot! Why is it so hot today? I was about to say another word when the second brother exclaimed happily:
"Ah! I see! Devan! I see!"
Then running like flying forward, I also ran. In front of me was a stream with a soothing murmuring sound, my brothers and sisters did not hesitate to rush into the water, the cool water dispels the sweltering heat. Having fun in the cool water for a long time, my brother and I invited each other to the shore to rest, the two of us plopped down on the green grass, the feeling was indescribable. I was lying in bed thinking about things when suddenly I heard a noise.
I sat up and strained my ears to listen.
"Grand...grandma...where are you grandma?"
It was like crying. Whose cry is that? I shook my brother who was lying next to me.
"Brother! Brother! Wake up!"
Collins, who had been sleeping for a while, was shaken by me, so he had to wake up, he asked:
"What's wrong? Don't play anymore?"
"Do you hear anything? It sounds like a cry."
He looked at me blankly, seemingly not understanding. Then he asked again:
"Hey kid, did you hit your head when you were playing? I didn't hear anything."
I was about to speak to him again, saying that he had been sleeping and not hearing anything, but was about to speak when the crying sounded again, this time louder. Collins sat as still as a statue, turning to look at me.
"Did you hear it?"
I nodded. After that, my brother and I stood up together, the two of us walked cautiously to the place where the crying came from.
[...]
"Grandma. Grandpa. Where are you?"
The closer he got, the louder the cry became. My brother and I chose a fairly large grove of trees nearby and hid. Then I was so curious that I forgot that I was hiding, I reacted to silence the crying. A voice said in sobs:
"Ah...who's that?"
We recognized it as the voice of a little girl. My brother and I looked at each other and then we walked out of the bushes, before our eyes was a little girl looking pretty, she looked so pretty in a pink dress, her black hair was tied up with a coconut tree. witty power. The little girl just stood there staring at us, her face wary. I suddenly said:
"H...hi there."
I stammered. The girl remained silent, not saying anything, the second brother also spoke:
"What's your name?"
Then walking in front of her, I followed him. At this time, the little girl looked at us with eyes as bright as marbles, and she slowly replied:
"My name is Sabrina."
"Your name is so cute."
I complimented her making her smile. We also introduced ourselves in turn.
"My name is Devan, and then I extend my hand to my brother, "this is my brother Collins."
[...]
That evening needless to say how surprised my parents were when suddenly the two of us came home wet and above all, the appearance of a strange little girl. I remember when my brother and I offered to take her home, she refused to keep asking us to show her the way home. However, when we heard the little girl describe her house, we did not understand anything.
So, after a while of arguing with the children, that little girl named Sabrina had to accept defeat and leisurely follow our brothers home in the near-ending afternoon sun.
"This...this is..."
My mother stammered, my father also ran out.
"What's wrong dear?"
My father asked. Collins quickly said:
"Or we could just let us go home and we'll explain later."
Then the three of us entered the house one after another, Sabrina trailing behind me, her face scared. After a while, my brother and I came down from the room, our bodies were dry, and we saw that her mother was sitting next to the little girl, thoughtfully talking.
"Where's your house?"
My mother's voice asked the little girl softly. The little girl's reply was so low that my mother had to bend down to hear it. After hearing that, I saw my mother's face frowning in confusion. Suddenly a hand grabbed my shoulder, I turned to see my father standing there, one hand on my shoulder. Dad asked me:
"Son, where did that little girl come from?"
I shook my head. Then Dad stopped asking, after a while Mom came in and he asked:
"What do you know?"
Mother shrugged and replied:
"I don't know. I asked about the house but she said it was strange, what is "a closet or something..." I don't know. "But I think it's evening, let her eat and drink then sleep in our house tonight."
My whole family agreed with that suggestion.
[...]
When I went downstairs the next morning, I saw my parents, Collins, and little Sabrina all sitting at the dinner table. After she served me breakfast, she turned to Sabrina and said:
"After eating, you go out to play for air, don't stay at home. It's cramped."
"Yes."
The girl replied and followed Collins outside. Before leaving, Collins approached me and said:
"Hey, eat quickly and then go to the stream to play. Me and Sabrina are waiting for you outside."
I nodded and my brother ran off. I try to finish my portion. When I finished, I took my mother to clean up, said goodbye to my parents and ran out of the house. Collins and Sabrina were already waiting for me outside. Seeing me, my brother said:
"What took you so long?"
Out of breath, I replied:
"I'm pretty quick."
Then the three of us led each other to the stream bank. The sun was a bit lighter today, when the familiar murmur of the stream came, Sabrina saw it and was excited and immediately ran to plunge into the clear water. The girl turned to look at us brothers and said:
"What's wrong? Get down here!"
My second brother and I exchanged a smile and then also plunged into the water, after a while there were three wet children lying on the grass together, smiling happily.
"So much fun!"
Some girl said.
"The three of course are happier."
I replied excitedly.
"That's right! That's right!"
My brother tie.
[...]
We're kids! Find all kinds of fun, games as long as it creates laughter. After playing in the stream, the wind came to dry our clothes somewhat, and then the three of us invited each other to play catch.
We chased each other on the vast green lawn, laughter, voices, shouting mixed together. When we chased each other, I sat next to Collins, he was lying there, his eyes absentmindedly looking up at the sky, I suddenly turned to see Sabrina hunched over to do something, she was sitting at a distance. We were a few meters away, gazing at the bushes in front of us.
Out of curiosity, I left my brother's side and walked over to the little girl. It seemed that she was so focused that she didn't notice my presence. I just stood behind her, silently holding my breath. What is the girl doing? Then that impatience could not be abandoned, I spoke up, making her turn around in surprise. Seeing me she just smiled, she said:
"Is that Devan? You've been standing behind me all this time?"
I nodded and asked.
"What are you doing?"
"I was looking for clover but...she hesitated, "it's too hard."
When I heard that, I also sat down next to her. Looking at the luxuriant bush, my mother once told me and my brother a story about this plant, heard that they are very lucky. I used to wish I could find one too. I need a lot of luck!
Then after looking at it for a long time, I felt depressed. I turned to look at Sabrina and saw that she was still focused on searching, I didn't know how to put aside that depressed feeling and continue to search with her.
About ten minutes later, I saw a plant with young green leaves and three leaflets growing like a fan, I happily took it, shouting:
"I found it! Look! I found it!"
Sabrina then turned to look at me, too, and I extended my clover-shaped hand to her. The girl smiled and replied:
"Wow! This real clover. It's so pretty!"
Then the two of us stood up, I took Sabrina's small hands, put the clover in her hands, I said:
"Give it to you."
The girl hesitated for a long time and then replied:
"Thank you."
Accompanied by a beautiful smile. At that time, I don't know why I wish me and my brother met her sooner.
