CHAPTER 48: A MIRACLE

The next morning, it was still snowing heavily. Collins wakes up, turns out he's been sleeping here all night? He sat up lazily, Devan was still sleeping next to her, he looked exhausted. Collins got up, quietly left the room, went downstairs to brush his teeth, get dressed, and get something to eat.

Knock...knock...knock

The knock on the door made Collins startle, the knocking was still steady, but increasingly urgent. He frowned, who would come this early in the morning? He stood there, hesitant to open the door.

Simply because living here all year round, brothers and sisters rarely have visitors, but if they come, they will be notified an hour in advance, not suddenly like this.

The person standing outside was still patiently knocking on the door, he looked up at the floor for fear that knocking for a while would wake the other three brothers up. And that's not good at all! He took a deep breath, walked over to the wooden door, one hand on the doorknob, and with one decisive movement pulled the door open.

[...]

Standing outside the door was a woman about thirty or so, she looked rather short, her heart-shaped face, slender eyebrows, small lips, she was wearing a cloak, only visible. With boots on her feet, the woman said:

"I know. There's something wrong with this house."

Before Collins could understand what was going on, the mysterious woman deftly slipped past him and entered the house, she now removed her hood to reveal brown hair cut to shoulder length.

Her eyes were so bright, like marbles, she continued:

"Someone's injured right? Mysteriously?"

Collins now regained his composure, closed the door behind him, and said:

"Hey! Who are you? You can't just enter someone else's house like that."

"Did I do it on my own? If it weren't for the trouble in this house, I wouldn't have come all the way here."

She replied firmly.

"You know what's wrong with my house?"

Collins asked incredulously.

"It's very clear otherwise. I also know that the person in the accident is a girl, only eighteen years old."

Then she went straight upstairs, her cloak fluttering behind her, Collins saw this and hurried after him, and when he got there, Sabrina's door was open, and before he could enter, a voice said:

"What's wrong Collins?"

Syrena came out of his room and Devan, dressed in a lovely nightgown, she rubbed her eyes with her hand. It seems that the girl was sleeping when he was woken up by a noise downstairs, he approached, knowing that he could not call her back to bed, so he took Syrena's hand and led her to her sister's room.

[...]

When I got there, I saw that mysterious woman standing in the middle of the room, holding a book with a strange symbol in her hand. Devan had also just woken up, his face was astounded, and he took Syrena's hand and rushed into the room like a whirlwind, he said loudly:

"Hey there girl! What are you going to do?"

She turned around, looked at him, and smiled softly. Then she closed the book in her hand, approached Sabrina, who was lying motionless, she made some kind of sign on the girl, it looked like a sign of God. Five minutes later, something unexpected happened: slowly, slowly, Sabrina's closed eyes slowly opened, she sat up wearily, breathing softly, and looked around the room.

"Sabrina."

Devan exclaimed, overjoyed. He hugged her, his joy was indescribable, she also reached out to hug him, it had been a long time since she had seen that dear face, it was like a century. Syrena then also approached her sister, she was just as happy as Devan.

Only Collins stood motionless, the woman smiled slightly, and was about to leave when he jerked his voice.

"Wait a second!"

She turned around. Collins asked:

"Who are you? And how could you do that?"

That mysterious woman looked at Collins with an eyes bright as marbles, she replied:

"My name is Judy. And I am a sorceress."
