CHAPTER 26: STARDUST WATER

The dinner that day really filled the sisters, this was their first meal since getting lost here. Collins and Devan, although close to being boys, can cook very well, she told them to give her a hand, but they refused, telling her and her sister to go to the table and wait, they would take care of everything.

She followed suit, went to the table to wait. She ran to the window and stood there looking at the night sky, raising her hand to count something, she was counting stars, right? After the dish was served, her sister also obediently sat at the table, looked around the table and exclaimed:

"Wow! It looks delicious, did you two cook it all?"

Collins just smiled and said nothing. The food smelled delicious, there was salmon with tomato sauce in the middle, next to it was a salad with green color and beautifully decorated. Four cups of soup were scooped evenly for four people, Sabrina looked at her glass of water, the outside was still a glass with the usual embossed pattern, but the special point must be about what was inside the glass: the iridescent stream of water. Light orange color, at first glance, it looks like a regular glass of orange juice, floating in that iridescent water instead of ice cold stones, it is tiny dust particles, sparkling like stars. Surprised, she asked:

"What is this?"

Collins put down his half-eaten bowl of soup, looked at her, then glanced at the glass of water, then smiled and said:

"Haha, you're right. I guess there's no water like this in the place you live right? It is my pleasure to introduce to you, this is a very special drink called "Stardust Water."

"Stardust water?"

She repeated, still as surprised as before. At this point, Devan spoke up:

"You see, the name says it all. Those tiny particles look like dust, don't they?"

She looked at him and then nodded slightly, replying softly, "Yes." When the four were full, they cleaned up the dishes together and then went to their respective rooms.

[...]

Syrena plopped down on the bed and closed her eyes immediately. She lay here still tossing and turning, unable to sleep, it can be explained with the reason that it is strange, but when she clearly hears the sound of her heart beating each "thump...thump..." repeatedly, is there a reason? Was it possible before?

Thinking for a while, she also fainted and fell into a dream, a small smile on the corner of her mouth, feeling extremely happy.

Even though tonight was the first night she had that happiness.
