CHAPTER 2: A RAIN OF TEARS

Syrena was only two years old, so it was fun when she started coming to her grandparents house. But when she knew she would have to be away from her parents for up to two months, tears from unknown sources kept falling down my cheeks, and so a rain of tears came.

Grandparents are easygoing and love their granddaughter very much, seeing her crying for her mother, just sit there and wipe away tears, all tears, dry, dry. The grandparents came and tried to save for their granddaughter.

"Hey, my good Syrena, let's hold your tears and go out for a while."

"Go... go where... eh?"

Syrena raised her voice and asked, her grandmother sitting next to her holding a tissue was wiping away the stains on her face, her grandfather continued:

"Going outside for some fresh air, then we will run along the Four Seasons field while watching the beautiful sunset."

"But...your leg...is that alright?"

Syrena just pointed at his feet, hesitant. He smiled cheerfully and replied:

"Haha, my dear, my leg was healed two months ago. Now I can walk, run and maybe I can win you Syrena."

He made a smug face that made some girl laugh. Grandma sees things are going in a good direction, to add.

"When you're done, go home and have dinner, then I'll tell you my story."

"Really?"

Syrena squealed with excitement, a glint in her eyes lighting up her face. Grandma said firmly:

"Of course, tell your sister, too, she loves to hear my stories."

Sabrina was curled up in the fur armchair over there, and when she was mentioned, she looked up from the book, and smiled and replied:

"That's right, just go out with my grandfather now, and then come back in the evening, we will listen to her story."

"Will you come with me?"

Sabrina hummed, wondering whether she should go or stay. Partly because she was approaching the climax of the book, and partly because the cold air made her want to crawl into the blankets, curled up like a kitten, and slept soundly by the fireplace until morning.

Then, for some unknown reason, she nodded her head, the little girl was indescribably happy, rushing to hug her sister.

"I love Sabrina the most."

She stretched out her arms and hugged her little sister in her arms, whispering in response:

"I love you too, so let's go now, okay?"
