The members regathered in the living room after Yoongi had gone to his room for a while. They really wanted to figure out what to do, and quickly. They needed this to end but they were still at a loss.

"So if we can't call the police on anyone, how do we get the people he was working with to stop trying to hurt us?" Jimin asked. Nobody had the answer to that question. They really weren't sure how to protect Yoongi. The situation was starting to feel hopeless. As they were sitting there trying to figure things out, a weird smell started to arise in the apartment.

"Does someone smell smoke?" Jungkook sniffed around the air. Nobody else could smell it, but the youngest had a very strong sense of smell and knew he smelled smoke.

"Hyungs something is on fire," Jungkook said nervously. The members turned toward the kitchen, but nothing was wrong with it.

"Where does it smell like it's coming from?" Namjoon asked.

"I don't know," Jungkook replied. He walked around the dorm but couldn't seem to find the source of the smell. Eventually the members did begin to smell the smoke and as soon as they did the smoke alarms started going off. They instantly panicked and ran out of the door to escape with the rest of the people in the building. By the time they made it to the bottom of their building the place was hot with smoke.

The building was actually on fire.

The members stood outside panicking while they heard firetrucks, cops, and ambulances approaching.

"What the hell is going on?" Taehyung asked as he frantically looked around. Everyone who lived in the building was swarming the streets.

Well, almost everyone.

"Where is Yoongi?!" Jin screamed as he looked around and realized his dongsaeng was missing. They all realized they'd run out in such a panic they weren't even sure if Yoongi had run out or not. Surely he would have smelled the fire, right? Maybe they just missed him in passing? The members went into a complete frenzy running around the crowd trying to find him. They were all screaming his name while shoving past people. The anxiety got worse when nobody could find him. Suddenly the fire inside the building could be seen growing as firefighters were doing their absolute best to combat it.

"Hyung?!" Jungkook screamed looking around. "Yoongi hyung?!"

Jungkook stared at the burning building. What if he's still inside?!

Jungkook stared at the burning building and realized there was only one way to find out. He started running right for the entrance. A cop tried to stop him but he shoved the cop out of the way. "Someone is still in there! My brother is still in there!" he screamed. He pushed past the cop and made a run for it.

Jungkook choked on the smoke. It burned his eyes. He could barely open them as he made his way back up to their dorm. It didn't make sense. If Yoongi hadn't run out, why would he have stayed inside when the alarms went off? Jungkook panicked more as he thought maybe his hyung was trapped somewhere, somehow. He covered his face with his shirt to try and keep some of the smoke out of his lungs. He barged back into the dorm and was absolutely devastated to see the fire had already reached it.

No no no.

"Hyung?!" Jungkook cried. "Yoongi hyung are you in here?!" He choked over his coughing.  He ran to Yoongi's room and found the rapper passed out in his bed. Jungkook panicked thinking the smoke had got to him.

"No! Yoongi!" Jungkook cried. He tried shaking him awake but it was useless. Jungkook began sobbing. "Please get up. We have to get out! Please hyung!"

Jungkook realized Yoongi wasn't going to wake up, but he needed to get his hyung out of there before they were both killed. He grabbed Yoongi and pulled him from his bed.

He cradled his hyung into his arms and made a run for it. He ignored the smoke and held his breath the best he could in a desperate attempt to save his hyung. He was not going to let him die. 

He made it out and started screaming for help through his coughs. Paramedics came and took Yoongi from him. "I don't know why he won't wake up!" Jungkook cried desperately. The rest of his hyungs ran over and embraced him in a hug.

"What the hell happened?!" Jimin cried.

"He was inside...he won't wake up...I don't know why!" Jungkook cried.

Yoongi was being closed into an ambulance before any of them could get to him. A firefighter came over and gave Jungkook an oxygen treatment when he noticed the boy was having a coughing fit. The members were patting his back. They were all in a panic over Yoongi and begged some cops to escort them to the hospital so they could go be with him. They weren't concerned with the fact that their dorm was on fire anymore. They were concerned about their brother.

The cops brought them to the hospital where they were told Yoongi was in the ICU. The boys held each other crying and begging for him to be okay. They stopped caring about the entire drug affair the rapper was involved with. They could move on from it. They weren't mad at Yoongi anymore. They just wanted him to survive.

After a few hours, a doctor came in and told them Yoongi was in a coma.

"What?! A coma?! Why?! How much smoke did he inhale?!" Taehyung panicked.

"This isn't due to smoke inhalation. He seems to have taken pills." The doctor informed them all that Yoongi had overdosed and would have died if he wasn't saved when he was. Jin ran to the trash can and threw up as everyone started screaming and sobbing with shock and heartbreak.

"Pills?! Why would he do that?! He doesn't even do drugs!" Hobi cried to the others. The doctor offered to provide them with Suicide Prevention resources.

"Suicide?! You mean he was trying to kill himself?!" Namjoon cried. The doctor informed them that seems to be what happened. The members dropped to their knees in despair as the doctor mentioned he had to get going but would gather the resources. The members couldn't stop crying with disbelief over how their rapper could do such a thing.

"Guilt," Namjoon cried. "He must have felt so guilty." He realized how mean they'd been to him, especially how mean he specifically had been to his hyung when Yoongi was telling them the truth.

"Oh poor Yoongi..." Namjoon whispered.

"What if he never wakes up?!" Jungkook sobbed. "I'll never be able to tell him I'm sorry."

While the members continued to hug each other and cry, the news on the TV in the corner of the waiting room caught everyone's attention when news about the dorm fire came on.

Especially when the broadcaster said that the people who started it were caught and arrested. Their mugshots were displayed on the TV.

"Oh my God!" Jungkook screamed. "That's them!"

"That's who?" Taehyung asked.

"The two Yoongi hyung was working with! Namju and Sookin! That's them! It was them!" Jungkook cried frantically to his hyungs. They continued to watch the screen when there was an addition to the report that the two had their home searched and were caught with countless amounts of drugs.

"No way," Jin said surprised. "They got caught!"

"But...what does that mean for Yoongi?!" Hobi asked panicked. Surely the two on the screen were going to rat him out. There was no way they wouldn't considering it seemed that their only goal was to apparently destroy the band and everyone in it.

Everyone filled with anxiety as days passed and they still couldn't visit their best friend. They stayed in that waiting room until the day he woke up. It's not like they had a home to go back to anyway.

The members were ecstatic when they were told Yoongi was finally awake and doing well and they could finally go see him. They ran in and embraced him in a hug as they cried. He cried too.

"I'm sorry," Yoongi whispered. He didn't really mean to take the pills. It was not a thought out decision and he regretted it quickly but passed out before he could do anything about it. He wanted the nightmare to be over but he realized that didn't mean he wanted to die. The members scolded him for what he'd done, but they did it was concern and love, not anger.

Unfortunately the members had to inform him what happened to the dorm. Yoongi was so incredibly heartbroken.

"Jungkook ran in and dragged you out," Taehyung told him. Yoongi looked to Jungkook with tears in his eyes. "That was the last thing I would have ever deserved."

Jungkook hugged him, "You still deserve the world, hyung."

Jungkook also informed Yoongi that it was Sookin and Namju who had done it and how they'd also been caught with drugs. Yoongi furrowed his brows and panicked when he realized this meant they'd probably mention his name.

"Well they haven't yet, but even if they do, they have no proof. If you had anything in the dorm it all burned to shit anyway," Hobi said flatly. Yoongi couldn't ignore the heartbreak of their home being destroyed because of people he had brought into their life.

"I'm so sorry," Yoongi cried. The members told him they know he's sorry and they forgive him. It wasn't worth it being angry at him. They almost lost him and it made them realize how important he was, no matter what mistakes he made. Yoongi was incredibly grateful.

While Yoongi was still in the hospital news came out that Namju and Sookin did in fact mention Yoongi's name and it became a huge ordeal. ARMY and his members defended him saying it wasn't true. The members were more than willing to lie to save Yoongi's ass, even if the rapper felt like he didn't deserve it after everything he'd put them through.

When the company found out, the higher ups were furious. The members also defended Yoongi to their bosses saying they have no idea why the two mentioned Yoongi, it was clearly a plot at defamation.

Cops raided the old dorm to search it but as the members had suspected, everything was so burned to ashes that anything Yoongi might have had couldn't have possibly been pulled from the wreckage, and once the police and the company determined there was really no proof that Yoongi was involved aside from the words from Sookin's and Namju's mouths, the rapper was cleared of any charges.

"What a mess," Yoongi sighed. He was finally getting ready to leave the hospital. After everything with Yoongi was cleared up the company paid for the members to get into a new dorm, and they also covered the cost of everything that would need to be replaced. They informed the members that the company was back in good standing in terms of money and the legal issues they were dealing with were finally over.

As the rapper was getting ready to head out he saw he was getting a phone call from the very last person on earth he'd ever want a phone call from.

It was his old boss , York. Yoongi sighed and told the others he'd meet up with them outside.

"Hello?" Yoongi answered.

"Tough luck, huh?" York said chuckling.

"Please York I really am done with all this shit," Yoongi said, frustrated. York informed him that he wasn't calling to scold or belittle Yoongi. He was actually calling to wish him well.

"What?" Yoongi asked completely confused.

"I know what happened. Sookin and Namju are going to be locked away for good and to be honest they sucked anyway. I'm sorry you had to deal with them and everything. I've actually gathered a new crew, so I don't exactly need any of you guys anyway," York said chuckling. To hell with all of them.

"This means you'll leave me alone now too?" Yoongi asked. He knew Sookin and Namju wouldn't be an issue anymore. They were going to jail for a long, long time.

"I guess so. You're finally free, Min Yoongi."

Tears welled up in Yoongi's eyes. Finally.

He said his goodbyes to York, for the final time, and ran out to meet his members at the entrance of the hospital. They were being picked up and escorted to the new dorm provided by the company. Everyone was feeling a lot better now that things were calming down and now that they knew Yoongi truly would be okay.

When they got to the new dorm they were sad to see that the place was still empty. Their company had ordered them a ton of stuff but it was all still being shipped. They walked around to explore their new home. It was actually a lot bigger and more updated than their old dorm. Somewhat of a blessing in disguise. Jungkook frowned at the emptiness of the place.

"Now what?" he asked his hyungs. They walked over and group hugged the youngest.

"Now, Jungkook? Now we start over. A new beginning," Yoongi said smiling.

Jimin turned to Yoongi, "And an honest one, right?"

Yoongi smiled.

"A new, and honest, beginning."
