Jungkook

"Jungkook-ah, eat first." Sowon noona said and gave me food. But I didn't flinch. I stared at the emergency room. I want to open that damn door and be with my wife.

I was trembling when I was holding her earlier. She just sacrificed her life for me. She took that bullet for me. I don't know how should I feel. I want to punch Yeri so much and torn her to bits but I can't even move back there.

"I'm so useless." A tear fell down my eye. I sighed and covered my face.

"You're not okay?" Sowon noona said and hugged me. "For now let's pray and let's be strong. Yerin is a fighter." She said. I nodded and cried more.

What hurts me the most is when I saw her legs. There were lots of blood. I don't want to think that she's pregnant, I can't. With the amount of blood I saw I don't think I can do it.

"Oppa, the doctors here." Yewon said. Yerin's mom stood up.

"How's my daughter?" She asked right away. I composed myself.

"We successfullycompleted the operation. However, the baby didn't make it---"

"T-the wh-what?" I asked once again. Trying to keep myself calm.

"The patient was 4 weeks pregnant. We tried our best to save the baby but he didn't make it."

It is as if a bomb explode in front of me. She was pregnant. Yerin was pregnant. How come I didn't know? I don't knowhow to react, I sat down and looked down. Another set of tears flowed down my cheeks.

"N-no..." I mumbled.

"We're really sorry. She's being transferred to a private room, you can visit her anytime. Excuse us."

I felt a hand on my shoulders. I didn't bother look at them and just cried. I heard a sniff beside me and saw mom crying.

"M-my baby... my baby is dead hyung." Jin hyung hugged me. I cried more.

"You need to be strong Jungkook-ah. For Yerin." Mom went to me and hugged me. I cried hard.

"I'm sorry... ssshh. For now, you need to be strong for your wife okay?" She said. I nodded and cried on her shoulders.

I calmed down and was at the rooftop.

I can't believe it. She was pregnant. And I didn't even saved her. I am so fcking useless. I lost my child and almost lost Yerin. I closed my eyes and formed my hands into a fist.

"Oppa." I heard a voice from behind me. I saw Yewon standing behind me. I smiled a little but my tears betrayed me. I don't know how many times I cried today.

"Unnie is still asleep. I'm sorry for your lost oppa." She said. I nodded.

"Am I a good husband Yewon-ah?" I asked her. She smiled and nodded.

"You always do everything for unnie. That makes you a good husband." She said.

"But I'm useless. I didn't saved her earlier. If I come earlier I could've save her. I could've saved the both of them. Joy and her. And my baby." I said and cried.

"Oppa, I have something to say. Joy unnie... Joy unnie is dead. The moment they went here in the hospital, she was announced dead on arrival." Yewon said and sighed. "And his husband Sungjae, was also killed by Yeri's men. They're still investigating oppa." she explained. I feel bad for Joy, she doesn't deserve this. They don't deserve this.

"This is all Yeri's fault oppa. Don't be hard on yourself. Unnie won't like it when she saw you being like this." Yewon told me and she smiled.

"I know you're broken now because you lost your second child, but think about unnie and Dasom. And also, we're here for you always oppa, don't hesitate to ask for help, you don't need to deal that with yourself, we're with you." she said and left me.

I sighed and looked at the night sky. Help me please. I stayed there for an hour. It's already late in the evening.

I went down and saw my friends outside Yerin's room. Jimin hyung saw me and hugged me. I hugged him back.

"I'm sorry Jungkook-ah..." he whispered. I just smile sadly at him.

"It's okay hyung, it's no one's fault. How's the case?" I asked them.

"We should've come earlier Jungkook-ah." Hoseok hyung suddenly said. He looked down and his shoulders shake. I sighed and looked away. Is he crying?

"We could've saved the baby." He added. I know hyung. I know. He went to me and pat my shoulders. "You need to be strong." He said. I smiled and nodded.

"Yerin's awake." Mom said. I went to the room directly and saw Yerin. She looked at me and cried.

"J-jungkook-ah." she said. I smiled and hugged her.

"L-love..." I whispered through her ear. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry if I was late." I said.  She shook her head.

"How's Joy? Is she okay?" She asked. I sighed and shook my head.

"She's dead love. She was reported dead on arrival." I whispered. She started crying and and hugged me. I hugged her back and calm her down. "Ssshh. Stop crying."

"How are you Yerin-ah? Do you feel anything?" Taehyung asked.

"M-my friend... Joy died because of me." she said. I shook my head.

"No. No. Don't blame yourself okay?" I told her and wiped her tears. "Take a rest for now love." I told her but she held my arm.

"The baby? How about the baby?" She asked. How can I tell her that our baby is gone?

"Take a rest first Yerin." Hoseok hyung suddenly said. I looked at him and sighed.

"He's right. You take a rest first Yerin-ah." Yoongi hyung also said.

"Why are you avoiding my question? Huh? Tell me? How's my baby?" She exclaimed.

"Love calm down." I told her softly. She shook her head and started crying.

"Just tell me honestly Jungkook-ah!" she yelled.

"Dear, calm down please." Mom held her hands but Yerin was too strong.

"Just fcking tell me what happen to my child mom!" she said and cried. I looked away. It hurts me. "P-lease... Jungkook-ah, our baby is fine right?" she asked me. I looked away and a tear fell down.

I shook my head and composed myself. But I can't. "I'm s-sorry love... our baby didn't make it." I whispered. Her eyes closed and she sighed.

"L-leave. All of y-you leave." She said. But we didn't move. "I said leave! Please! Leave me alone!" She shouted. The nurses came in and injected something on her to make her calm down. I cried as I saw her struggling.
