SANSKAR

I was in between a meeting.
But for the first time I can't concentrate.
My mind and heart was occupied with RAGINI's words.

'even for us'
'like love kinda like you'
'you are so selfish sanskar'

Her each and every word is hurting me.
It's making me feel guilty.
Why? Why...am I so disturbed.

I just excused myself from the meeting.

I thought about those Mafia people.
And a fear runs across my veins.
I worried about Ragini and princess .
Couldn't able to hold myself I came back to home.
But didn't found them anywhere.

I remembered Ragini saying that she'll leave.
But where she can go?
Maybe to Her previous house.
I went there and was about to ring the bell,when I found the door slightly opened.
I pushed it and went in.
Seeing the scenario my heart froze. And thats when I realised I have litterely fucked it up this time.

My wife. My Ragini was on the floor bleeding from her head.
I holded myself from getting into panic.
And rushed towards her.
Taking her head carefully into my lap I tried to stop the bleeding.

I called the ambulance and took her to the hospital.
Seeing her in this position , I realised her value in my life.

There was a paper in her hand.
I grabed it while nurses took her inside.

I didn't realised I was crying until a tear drop fallen on that paper.
It was drawing of a Man titled King, a women titled Queen and in between them was a girl titled Princess.
I caressed it and put out all my pain embracing the paper close to my heart.

Its truelly said that ;
people don't value until it's gone .

I was recalling all our beautiful memories.
Memories of us being together .
Me. My wife . And my Princess.
Our moment as a Family.
I felt like I was drowning in my own guilt.

I didn't realised when the Doctor came.
He holds my shoulder bringing me back to my sense.
He said Ragini is all fine just needs some rest.
I thanked him genuinely.

I went inside and saw her still sleeping under medicine effect.
I touched her skin, it was very cold.
I remembered the last night , her warm smile reflected in front of me.
Everything was so beautiful till yesterday.
But I just messed it up.

She opened her eyes.
She tried to sit and I helped her.
Her eyes turned teary.
"I couldn't able to protect her"-whispered she
"I am sorry. I was the one responsible for it"- I replied trying to control my tears.
She touched my hand and again my eyes starts flowing.
I hugged her carefully not touching her drip.
I keeps on mumbling sorry.

After getting discharged .
I took her back to home.
I told her that I have already filed a missing report for Princess and will go on search for her.
She said she"LL also join.
I asked her to rest but being adamant she didn't agreed.
So we both went to police.

Inspector informed us that since when  we have told them that Mafia people had threaten Ragini , they were tracking each and every activity of all Mafia's .
And they found one of the Gang involved in Child Bussiness.
Which includes child trafficking and child organ harvesting.
They told us each and everything about it.

We went on a rescue mission.
We got inside and police arrested all the Gang members present there.
We helped children's to free themselves .
Our eyes scanned for Princess but she was no where to be seen.

Inspector came and asked us to check inside.
There were some dead bodies of childrens.
They were harvesting their organs.
Ragini denied to go , so I went in.
I don't know from where I got such guts to actually look at the bodies.

Everytime she called me King flashed in front of my eyes.
Clearing the layer of water I just glanced at each of the body.
My eyes moved towards a corpse covered with white sheet.
No please no.
I prayed within myself and removed the sheet with trembling hands.
I fall on the floor weeping badly.

I halted my car n looked towards Ragini she hugged me tightly wetting my shirt.

"I was so scared"- she said
"Me too"- I replied.
I got relieved that Princess wasn't there.
At a moment I felt blank removing that sheet.
I released a breathe I didn't realised I was holding .
That time I understood how important she is to me.

Police told us that half of the children's are transferred to Italy .
And were to be sold soon.
So without wasting time we are moving to Italy .

On the way Ragini narrated me that yesterday Princess told her that after her father's death she used to lived with her step mother and sisters and they had sold her to someone.
She was running from there cage only when we found her.

I still remember that day.
Loud and clear.

Ragini continued that Princess doesn't wanted to go with police or to any orphanage that's why acted that she doesn't remember anything and forced us to take her. As she found us Rich and wealthy .

I chuckled a bit knowing what a drama queen she is.
My eyes gets moist remembering her antics.
We"LL soon find you Princess.

We reached Italy and the cops there told us that they"LL help our police in arresting the Mafia Gang.

I requested them to first let us take our Princess out safely and then they can move in for the rescue.
They denied but somehow Ragini convenced them.
Charmer she is.

We disguised ourselves and went for the auction of childrens.
There were so many innocent kids from different countries.
All age group people were seen sitting and bidding on them.
I felt disgusted.

Ragini clutched my hands tightly.
I looked at the way she was staring .

Princess

We both whispered.
There she was . Our Princess .
We hold back ourselves to go and grab her.
We don't want to risk anything .

Her bidding started .
I didn't cared about money or anything.
Cause I understood that there is nothing more important then Family.
I bidded the highest and she was sold to me.

She looked at us and gasped .
Before we can ask her to stop.
She herself stopped and looked down.
I smiled seeing how intelligent she is .
I knew she was controlling herself from crying.

Paying off the money,
We took her and left the venue
Giveing a green signal to the police.

Ragini burst out crying hugging and kissing her tightly.
I just wiped my tears caressing her hair.
"Don't cry please. You told me na princess doesn't cry then why are you crying '-said Princess in cracking voice
Ragini kissed her cheeks and said_"The princess doesn't cry.
But a queen does because she knows the value of them. And I am your queen right."
I embraced them both.
My body relaxed having my precious gems safe and close.

We heard firing and hided in a guarded place .
Police arrested all of them and rescued the childrens.

We thanked them and returned back to our place.

With the help of Princess
I finally confessed my feelings towards Ragini but she  was shooting daggers to me tapping her right foot, which was extended in front of her.

"Was this a proposal or some Bussiness presentation?"

"If you want, I'll get down on my knees, and with my hand over my heart, I'll beg you to be my lover for life" I said in confusion, not knowing if she was joking or speaking seriously.

"Do it," she ordered. "On your knees, with your hands on your chest. Tell me the best cheap, sentimental things and let's see if you can convince me."

I fell to my knees and begged her .
I heard her laugh as she said into my ear, "I'm sorry, but I've received better requests"

She moved back when Princess pushed her towards me , making Ragini falls on my chest.
"Offoo Queen. Don't show so much of tantrums. King had worked so hard for it. Common just say YES"- saying so she left the room.

Ragini looked at me and so does i and we both laughed.
Her sound died seeing my stare towards her lips.
she closed her eyes and I closed the gap between us.

She parted and opened her eyes saying_" who gave you permission to kiss"

I grabbed her chin and said_
"Baby now you are my business.
And my business is my business,
None of your business"

She twisted her lips and asked in confusion _"Matlab'

"Matlab. Now I can do anything with you"

Saying so I again kissed her deeply.
Sealing the deal of Love.

I was  packing my things while Ragini was continuously disturbing me.
Don't know what happened to her today.

She came in front of me and snatched all the documents and kept it aside.
She caged my hands back  and moves inside my t-shirt.

I smiled as her face came near mine.
She took my hand and puts upon her stomach.

I looked confused
While she whispered
We are pregnant.

There wasn't any limit for my Happiness..
I squeezed her face and kissed her everywhere.
She laughed seeing my reaction.

Hearing us Princess came inside our room.
She was all ready to go to her school.
Ragini immediately comes out of my t_shirt.
"Have some shame"-said Princess closing her eyes.
I tapped her head and said that soon there will be a baby.

Initially she jumped in happiness but soon it fades away.
Ragini asked what happened
To which she replied that after the new baby arrival , we"LL forget about her.

Ragini kneeled to her height and said_" Nobody can ever take our Princess place. And moreover it"LL be your sibling . You have to take care of it just like Elsa and Ana. I thought u"LL be happy that now u can be Elsa but you are thinking negative only"

"No no no Queen . I am super happy. I am sorry, for a moment I thought like that. And don't worry not only Elsa , I"LL be the Godmother to the new baby. Will always make him/her happy. Promise"-replied Princess joyfully.

We both kissed her cheeks.

We had legally adopted her.
We calls her Princess with love but had given her a new name "ALIKA"
Which means LOVE.

She is our Cupid who
turned our Fake love
into Real one.

WHEN WE HAVE FAMILY,
WE HAVE EVERYTHING.
IT IS THE GIFT,
THAT LASTS FOREVER..
