Cascade Morte/Virginia City, Nevada

Zak- Stepping off the Rv and taking in a deep breath of the sandy air. (Smiles Widely) I walk off towards the rocky ridge and take in the vast morbid beauty that surrounds us.

Dakota- I help my brothers to unload all the gear so we can set up. "Zak okay?"

Billy- Carrying a couple cases and a bunch of cables as we head off towards the mine. (Nods) "Yeah, he's fine."

Aaron- Carrying a couple x-cameras and more cables as I follow closely beside the other two. "What can we say kid, he's eccentric."

Jay- Overhearing their conversation, I set the gear down that I'm carrying as I walk over to Zak standing beside him. "What's on your mind?"

Zak- (Hums Softly) "I'm feeling all sorts of weird and I can't place why."

Jay- We've learned to trust Zak when he got feelings on a place, because it let us know if the investigation was gonna go good or really bad. "We'll just have to be careful."

Zak- (Nods) "Yeah." Something about the place made me feel at home, yet made my skin crawl all at the same time and I didn't like it.

(Later That Night)

3rd Person P.O.V- The crew has finished setting up, filmed all their interviews and the sun has long since set.

Aaron- Slowly panning my camera around as I walk down the wooden railed path deeper into the mine. (Mutters Lowly) "I really, really hate when they send me alone!"

Jay- Sitting in the RV with Zak, Billy and Dakota watching the screens.

Billy- I notice multiple shadows on a couple of the cameras and point it out.

Zak- Jay replays the recorded live feed. "Billy, you and Dakota go check it out."

Dakota- We don't bother to argue and grab the gear we need, giving Aaron a heads up as we head into the mine ourselves. (Giggles Lightly) "One of these times, Zak is gonna get us all killed."

Billy- (Rolls Eyes) Panning my camera around slowly as I lead us down multiple tunnels to the x-camera that caught the shadows. "Fact."

(Thirty Minutes Later)

3rd Person P.O.V- Horrified screams echo into an endless abyss as crimson paints the rocky walls.

Jay- I watch the screens practically horrified. "Zak?" Looking to him for some sort of rationality, I find he's gone. "For fucks sake!" Leaving everything as it is, I rush out the door and into the night. (Yells) "ZAK!" Seeing him as he disappears into the mine, I hesitantly follow after him.

3rd Person P.O.V- The news spread like wildfire in just twenty-four hours.

Echo Lodge/Libby, Montana

Nick- Sitting at the edge of the bed, the tv remote clutched tightly in my hand.

TMZ News; 'We here at TMZ are rather heartbroken, to have ta share the news of the tragic loss of close friends and beloved Paranormal Crew; Ghost Adventures. Twenty-four hours' ago at their last location which we can not disclose due to the on-going police investigation; Aaron Goodwin, Dakota Laden and Billy Tolley have been found dead. Jay Wesley is in the hospital, in critical condition and the whereabouts of Zachary Bagans is unconfirmed, but he's believed to be dead as well. Lots of love and prayers to everyone's families at this time and hopefully the police find the truth to what really happened!'

Katrina- Sitting at the edge of the other bed, glancing from the tv to Nick. "You okay?"

Nick- Shutting the tv off as I get to my feet, throwing the remote unto the rooms table accidentally startling Rob. "No, I'm not okay. I'm never gonna be able to apologize to Zak and I lost my brothers."

Rob- Setting down my book as both Katrina and I look at him rather amused. "We both know it's more than that."

Nick- Sitting back down as I run my hands over my face. (Growls) "That asshole promised not to do anything stupid, he promised to keep our brothers safe."

Katrina- Getting up from where I'm sitting, only to cross to the other bed and lay beside where Nick is sitting. "Tell us what's really going on Nick, you know we aren't going anywhere and will literally follow you to Hell."

Nick- Glancing at her unamused, but taking it into consideration. (Sighs Heavily) After a few minutes, I finally give. "The fans and even family think it's all a joke, but Zak actually is a vampire and Jay is a Warlock or Zaks Dhampire."

Rob- Sharing a mirrored look of pure amusement with Katrina. "We knew, but were just waiting for you to let us in on the secret."

Katrina- (Giggles) "I mean Zak has accidentally been caught doing some unexplainable shit on camera and there is only so much you can play off."

Nick- It felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.

Katrina- Getting into a seated position as I bounce around happily. "So, what now?"

Rob- Leaning back in my chair with my arms crossed. "We still gonna investigate the paranormal or we hunters of the supernatural?"

Nick- Reaching beneath my shirt as I pull out the ring that I wear on a thin chain, playing with it. "We are still paranormal investigators, might as well be a cover for what we're really doing and that's hunting down the supernatural bastards that had the audacity to hurt our family."

3rd Person P.O.V- Everyone morned differently, yes, but this was a drastic turning point for Nicklaus Groff and everyone whom knew him personally could see it.
