A few days after the spray painting incident, a letter came in the mail for me. It was from Midas.

"Dear y/n,
I know it was you and your group who had done it, it is all on camera. Why did you not inform me about you being out? I want you to meet me at Risky at dusk so we can speak, I look forward to seeing you.

I just rolled my eyes and threw on my shadow jacket, kisses Brutus on the cheek and left for Risky.

I was arriving there to be greeted by Midas. "I've been waiting," I crossed my arms, "and?" He seemed taken aback, "why are you acting like this, I had done nothing wrong!" He honestly looked lost. "You wouldn't respond to any of the letters I wrote for months! And when I finally hear from you, you're vandalising my place of work!" I laughed at him, "I had not received a single letter for months, and when I finally got one, you wanted to break things off!" I shoved my index finger into his chest. He broke down crying. He collapsed into my chest, "I can't do this anymore!" He pleaded out as he cried. "What do you mean Midas?" He wrapped his arms around my waist, "she is the one who wrote that letter. I had wrote a letter every week, telling you I still loved you. But now I have a very big secret I've been keeping from you." He stood up straight, the movie started, "what's the secret?" He signed, "I have a daughter." I choked a little, "please, I hope this doesn't change how you feel about me!" I really had to think on this, "my daughters name is Maria, she was just born a couple months ago. I want to leave Tina, I really do, I just don't want to lose my baby!" I just didn't know what to say. He tried to lean down and kiss me, I pulled back. "Please Y/n, give me a chance." I looked at him, "that's a lot more than a chance, I don't know if I'm ready to be a mom yet!" He tried to compromise, "I'll take care of all the baby stuff, just please, I want a chance." I just nodded, "I'll give you one after she leaves." He nodded with a smile, "I'll call you tomorrow morning." I gave him my phone number, we finished the movie and he walked me home. "I really appreciate it, thank you so much." He told me, I was confused, "for what?" He smiled, "for giving me a chance, I really do appreciate you for it." We kissed and said goodnight as I went to my room and he went home. I had to meet his daughter soon, and that terrified me more than anything.
