After going in and being put into the bottom of the Grotto, I just sat on my bed. I didn't know what to do with myself, I just wanted to sleep at that point.

After I ate my meal, I fell asleep.

The guard woke me up in the morning, "you have mail y/n." It was already opened, Brutus had checked it before I got it. They handed me it and left me alone. I pulled out the translation paper and wrote out what he had said.

"My dearest y/n, I am sad to see you go. I hope that this ends soon so I can be with you. The night at Risky had made me feel something I really never felt before with another person, comfort and security. I long for the day I get to see your beautiful face again, no one could ever compare to you.
I love you~ Midas"

I teared up a little and wrote back,

"Midas, the day I get out of here is the day I come to be with you forever. I hope it is soon but there is no telling with Brutus. I hope you wait for me on the other side. I am sorry for spying on you like that in person. When you spoke so much about me, I felt really excited because you felt the same. I really do love you Midas, I'll wait every  day for you, even until my last breath runs out.

I folded up into an envelope and gave it to the guard to send it out.

For months, Midas would inform me on new events that would happen, such as Christmas and new years. After almost a year, his letters got later and later. One day, they stopped coming in. Weeks turned to months, he hadn't written a single letter. I wrote one, maybe he got busy or didn't get my last one. After sending it out, I got a letter.

"Dear y/n,
I think we should stop writing to each other. It's best to move on and forget this, please don't contact me or send anymore letters, you'll just be wasting your time. I am sorry but it is for the best.
Truly~ Midas"

I cried, Brutus stood by the doorway, "you're free to go." I hugged him tightly, he hugged back. "Do you like me now?" He asked, "I'm not sure how I really feel right now." He nodded and led me up to my old room. "There is new updates on ghost Intel, you can start working on it again tomorrow." I just nodded, grabbing my jacket and going outside. I felt the autumn breeze on me as I pulled on my jacket, it was wonderful to be out again. I saw a couple of the shadow henchmen, they were all talking in a circle and pointing at me. I walked over to them, "hey guys." They all looked at me, "we all thought you were dead!" I shook my head, "wanna go vandalize one of the ghost bases?" They all nodded and we grabbed spray paint. We walked over to one of he closest bases, spray painting the Shadow symbol, then the henchmen had an idea. "Let's go over the the Agency!" I kinda shrugged it off as we all snuck over there. I pulled over my black mask, we spray painted everything. We all left with snickers as they hadn't noticed yet. When we got back to shadow, Brutus laughed at us. He showed us the film of the guards panicking at the agency and Midas frustrated. "Ain't TnTina supposed to be with him?" I asked him, "I had her baby trap him so we can take the agency!" I cocked a brow but shrugged it off. Maybe I'll see him one day.
