"Sit down," He gestured to the seat beside his desk. I took a seat, "so where do you live?" I gulped, "pleasant park?" I questioned, he folded his hands together. "Listen, I know you way more than you think." This caught me off guard, "what do you mean?" He smiled, "you're just nervous!" I sighed, he handed me a file. "You're also my personal assistant. This is the file of a female I've been trying to find, she is a shadow agent. Brutus seems to be very fond of her for what I could get on Intel. She could be very valuable in getting what we want from the shadow base." I opened the file, it was me. He had almost every little detail ever on me on that one file. He had a small tint of red on his pale cheeks, he was staring at the picture. "Do you like her?" I tried to change up my sound a little, to seem concerned. "Oh no, she's really beautiful, but she's a shadow. You know what they say, shadow and ghost don't belong together." He looked really sad while saying this, he stood up from his desk and faced the window the showed outside. "I would love to meet her, to see her beautiful face and call a truce on shadow and ghost. Even with that, she'd still see me as a freak." I wanted to know more on his feelings, "why would she see you as a freak?" He sighed, looking down at his golden hands, "I have a golden touch. Anything I touch turns to gold, she would get tired of how much gold there was and leave." He put his hands to his face, he seemed really stressed. "You never know until you talk to her." He shook his head, I wish, Brutus is planning on asking her to marry him by the next full moon." The next full moon was in a month, I honestly didn't want to marry Brutus. "I go home after I'm done here, right?" He looked at me funny, "well duh, unless you want to stay. Even then, you would have to have my permission." He put his hands behind his back and there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" He yelled, a female with brown hair came in, this had to be Skye. "Oh, who's this?" She looked at me, "well, introduce yourself!" Midas ordered me, I stood up. "Y/n," She smiled, "Skye!" The she looked at Midas, "about time you hired a girl!" He rolled his eyes with a smile, "also Midas, how's it going with the, how do I say this, ending of your relationship?" He looked surprised, "well, I'm doing better. She joined the shadow after we broke up, she still texts me now as a matter of fact." Skye grabbed my arm, "I'm stealing your guard!" He smirked, "fine, bring her back in a couple hours!"

I was dragged to Skye's room, she tried taking the helmet off. I refused to let her, "why can't I see your face? Are you hiding something?" I shook my head no, "it's just something I shouldn't have to worry about." I was honestly getting very hot in the helmet. "So, who is Midas ex girlfriend?" I questioned, she rolled her eyes, "her names TnTina. I can't believe how he actually begged her to stay!" I knew that girl, she was really rude most of the time. "Now he's been crushing on this girl on shadow base, his ex girlfriend moved to shadow now he wants a girl who was born a shadow." I nodded, "I heard, he said a lot of nice things about her." She nodded, "he's had a big crush on her for a couple weeks now, I can't believe he's too scared to talk to her." I nodded, "well, I was too." She stopped for a moment, "what?" She got up and left the room, Midas came back in with her. He had a stern look on his face, he did not look too happy. "Stand up guard," He ordered, he walked up to me, he grabbed the helmet. My h/c hair fell down and revealed my face. He dropped the helmet, it was gold.
