(Mimi's POV)

I came to school the next day, and didn't really talk to anyone. A new teacher had replaced Gareth (R.I.P), her name was Mrs Okami. I fiddled with a loose strand of my hair whilst a new student introduced herself. "Hello, my name is Ali and I'm 19 years old. Sam's my brother." Ali said. She wore purple and blue headphones, similar to Taurtis', and seemed to have real, yes, real, bunny ears. I looked at my desk again as she sat down beside her brother. "I believe a student hadn't introduced themselves when they joined the school. Mimi Takashi, could you introduce yourself?" I nodded and stood up quickly, looking at the floor. "Well, my name is Mimi Takashi... I love anime and manga... umm..." I stopped and looked up. "That's it." I sat back in my seat and pulled out my drawing pad from my bag. I started to carry on with my picture of Taurtis.

I sat with Sam and Taurtis at lunch. Heat between me and Sam was clear - we both remembered what happened a few nights ago. Ali joined the table, sitting beside Sam. I broke the silence. "Heyo, Ali." Bad mistake. Know I didn't have anything else to say. "Hello, Mimi." She seemed a little more serious than me. Silence again. I bit my lip. "Sam why did you try to.." Taurtis asked, but he didn't finish. I layed my head down on the table. "Taurtis, don't.." I said, as I didn't want Sam to become mad. Or Ali, for that matter. "She stole my best friend from me!" Sam shouted across the table to Taurtis. I shook my head and pointed out, "Sam, if I wanted to steal Taurtis from you, he would be gone already. I'm very efficient in stealthy things like that." Taurtis glanced at me, then looked back at Sam. "Don't judge." I mumbled quickly. "But I used to be against the law quite a lot." I stood up, predicting when the bell would ring. 3, 2, 1, Ring!! I ran off to gym class, shoving my bag in the changing room locker.
