Today was the most twisted day I had ever experienced, and that's saying something. After dismissing last nights thoughts to kill Sam, (which, by the way, I had decided not to complete) I walked with Taurtis to school, not expecting much to happen. But, when we tried to enter our classroom a crowd blocked our way.

I ran past everyone, pushing them aside and standing on my tip toes so as to see what had caused the commotion. At what I saw, I stumbled backwards and nearly fell into Taurtis. Gareth was hanging from the ceiling, his life taken by a measly rope. I wanted to say something but I couldn't; it was as if I was choking on air. "What's wrong Mimi?" Taurtis asked, obviously concerned. I shook my head. I had seen plenty of deaths, but to see his pale, strained body hanging from the ceiling was too much. My conscience pictured it as Taurtis there, and I ran, from the room, from the school, from the street. You don't want to hurt him do you? But you know you will. The voice of doom echoed in my head, and I ran faster. I didn't know where I was going. Anywhere as long as it removed the twisted picture in my head. I finished running and found a bench to sit at. I watched the cars pass by, counting how many red ones I saw. Red like blood. I screamed inside my head. No more, no more.

(Taurtis POV)

I pushed forward so as to see the sight. I saw Gareth, our teacher, hanging from the ceiling, suspended by a rope. Now I could see why Mimi had seemed so disturbed. It didn't help that the room was dimly lit, none of the lights on. I turned around, preparing to help up the fallen girl, but she had gone. I looked around the crowd for her, but she seemed to have abandoned the hallway. I ran outside and scanned the streets for her, and didn't find her, didn't see her perfect eyes, that beautiful face. It scared me. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Where would she have gone?
