"This is nice." Taehyung commented as Jimin went ahead and called him for a night full of alcohol by their house. On the terrace.

Actually, it was Jimin who was in dire need of the alcohol to flood in his system. He needed the courage; the boldness to say whatever he wanted to say to his bestfriend. This was how he opened up to him before.

"And you invited me over, because?" Taehyung knew it had to be something urgent. He knew that Jimin knew he wasn't a drinker; so it must be his open forum discussion again.

"We haven't been spending much time as buds, have we?" Jimin opened a bottle of soju, immediately pouring it inside a glass, with just the right amount. "I've been pretty busy with Beyond the Scene and Lisa."

"I don't see a problem with that, and hey, I decided to dedicate my time with work, anyway."

"What is it with your Dad and Lisa's dad, anyway?"

"W-what?" Taehyung seemed confused and flustered at the same time, but Jimin didn't happen to notice since he had his eyes closed, savoring the liquor down his throat.

"Lisa's Dad abused her, yours did you, too." He chuckles, "What if you two were actually siblings?"

"Um," Taehyung furrowed his brows, lifting one to express his doubt, "what's this about now?"

"Nothing. It's just weird how small the world can be." Jimin was about to open another bottle when Tae grabbed his glass from his hand and sighed as he took his turn to speak,

"I don't know what happened, but if you're still worried over the fact that Lisa is still being abused - just check up on her. Don't be like his brother, like you always tell me, alright?"

Jimin swallows, not saying anything.

"Ya," Taehyung heaved a rather long, tiring sigh as he waved his hand in front of Jimin's gaze. His friend doesn't move. Maybe the stress got to him. Maybe he just needed to relax. Tae didn't know what else to say. Jimin still refused to spoke and just kept his plans to himself, inside his head.

All Tae could do was watch over him, hoping he doesn't lose balance or fall asleep. Then he'd be contemplating how he can carry him all the way to his bed.

"Tae..?"

He hummed as proof he was still listening.

"I'll always be here for ya, okay..? Remember that.."

He was about to be flattered after the chuckle. But he was too late as he looked over his dozing friend. Frustratingly ruffling his hair, he stood up, pulling his friend by the arms, carrying him all the way over to his bedroom. He dusted his jacket off, grabbing the bottles Jimin had emptied and placed it on the dining table downstairs after tucking Jimin in bed.

"Knew he'd fall asleep again."

Deep inside, he couldn't help but smile at the thought Jimin was not only a good friend, but he was also a concerned boyfriend to Lisa. And he's happy they're happy themselves.

"You deserve happiness, my friend."

"Look alive, people, look alive!" Jisoo claps as she snapped her fingers to signal them to play the music.

The sexy beat came up, thus the gesture for them to show the moves. Lisa was working as hard as she perceived; especially after exhausting herself overnight at her dorm. She was going to perform in two days! This was a dream come true.

However, when the music stopped as a sign for them to take a break, she noticed Jimin wasn't around.

"Lisa, great job!" she got praised by Jisoo before she went to praise the other two members, as well.

"Ah, thank you!"

Lisa sat on the nearest seat she got her hands on and received a water bottle from Jennie. Jennie sat beside her while she was looking around for something.

"Where's your boyfriend?"

"That's what I was going to ask." Lisa took her phone from her bag and started typing.

lisa 💓:
jimin? where are
you? the club
meeting has alrdy
started.

The message was sent, but she didn't get a fast reply like she used to.

"Do you think something happened to him?" she asked her friend, worriedly.

"Maybe he overslept or something, I don't know."

Lisa's attention went to the brown-haired man standing by the entrance. She was being gestured to go to him, so she did.

"Taehyung," she calls when they got outside.

"Lisa, about Jimin,"

"Is he okay? Did something happen?"

Tae immediately shook his head to calm her down, "No, he and I just talked overnight and he got drunk. Maybe he still has a hangover right now and probably sleeping, so don't worry. I took care of him."

The blonde was finally able to breathe in relief at the thought of him being safe, "Thank goodness. I thought-- wait a minute, why would you get him drunk on a school night??"

He raised his arms up, half in the air, "Don't look at me. I don't drink. He was telling me stuff and was just being a friend to me."

Taehyung chuckled when he saw Lisa's calm face, ruffling her hair, "W-why did you do that?"

"Nothing. You're too worried."

With that said, he turned his back from her and started to walk away from the auditorium.

"Thank you!" Lisa managed to squeak.

Jimin was finally fully awake when noon came. He slowly crept to sit up and lean himself against the headboard. He groaned at the pain he was feeling inside his head.

"I need to get some water." He stood up, groggily making his way downstairs to get it himself.

"Oh, Jimin, you're up." It was his Mom, working over at the computer.

"Why are you still here? You have work, right?"

She shrugged, "Jimin, I can't simply leave you while you're still hungover. Besides, it's fine as long as I pass my work online." She looked to her side to see Jimin drinking with a glass of water. "You okay now?"

He nods, placing the glass down on the table then went to grab some pancakes, ready to be heated, in the fridge.

The doorbell rang twice, making Mrs. Jung walk over. "Oh? Who could that be? Were you expecting any visitors?"

"None that I know of."

Mrs. Jung had to make sure first, by looking at the screen to check on who was at the door. When she saw it was Lisa, she couldn't be happier. "Come in, dear." She smiles as she made her way to greet Lisa, leaving Jimin dumbfounded.

"Ah, Lisa~"

Jimin spat the water he was drinking, wiping his now wet face.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Jung."

"Oh, do come in." Mrs. Jung signalled Jimin to take her upstairs instead.

"Jimin," Lisa called, handing him a basket of sandwiches.

"Ho-How are you here?"

"Taehyung told me about what happened last night and I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

Jimin smiles at her concern, but it vanished when he saw his Mom having fun as she watched the two of them. "Come on, Lisa," He grabbed the basket and Lisa's wrist to take her upstairs.

"Never been in your room before." The first thing Lisa says as she sat on his bed.

Jimin placed the basket on the other side, "I'm gonna change first." He grabbed his shirt, nonchalantly taking it off in front of her, causing Lisa to cover her eyes.

"Ya, don't surprise me like that!"

"You know you're gonna see this more often when you're with me, alright?" Jimin raided his closet to pick a new shirt. After closing his bedroom door, only then did he bounce himself on the bed, next to Lisa.

"What happened today?" Jimin asks.

"Nothing much. We just practiced since our performance is in two days."

He nods, grabbing the remote from the bedside table, "Netflix and chill?"

"D-don't you think that's a little.. I mean, your Mom is downstairs."

Jimin looked at her, dumbfounded at the thought she actually thought they were going to do it. "Uh, babe, we're not gonna," he gestures, "we're literally gonna watch from netflix."

"O-oh," Lisa ended up slapping her forehead on the palm of her hand in embarrassment. "right."

Jimin selected a random chick flick on the screen, grabbing a sandwich from her basket. "Hey, did you make this?"

"Yeah," she laughs softly, grabbing one, too, "does it taste good?"

"As long as it's from you,"

They were halfway through the movie when Lisa suddenly decided to run hee hand through his hair. It made his attention turn to her, "What is it?"

"Oh, uh, sorry. Was it uncomfortable?"

"No, just keep doing it." He brought her hand back to his hair and she did keep her fingers running through it.

She was beginning to get fond over his hair, enough to the point of wanting to know how he managed to keep it soft and silky like this.

"I talked to Tae last night. It was about me, wanting him to remember that I'd always be there for him. We haven't been hanging out as much as we used to."

Lisa snaked down to hold his hand, as she nodded, "Well, you are a great friend. You're a good boyfriend, too, you know."

"I just don't want people to leave me again," he said as he grabbed her hand, intertwining their fingers together.

"I won't. I'm still here, aren't I?"

Jimin rose up from the bed, gently moving one of her bangs away, and only then did he lean in to kiss her. But it wasn't just any kiss they did before. The two of them stayed intact. Jimin tightened the grip on their intertwined fingers as he ended up leaning Lisa's back against the headboard. It was going too far and he knew, but he didn't want to stop.

Lisa didn't, either.

When they finally let go, they panted and huffed due to loss of air.

"I love you," Jimin finally said it. "I really do."

Lisa didn't hesitate and smiled, "I love you, too," she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him once again.
