annoying temptation
San knocks furiously for the 10th time that morning on the bathroom door. All trainees were expected to be in the practice room at 7am sharp. It was 6:32 and he hadn't even brushed yet. Today was the first official day of class and he wasn't planning on going late.
"Wooyoung! I swear if you don't get out of there now I'm gonna kill you" He yells out as he pounds on the door again.
"He's still in there?" Yunho asks with a laugh as he begins to tie his shoes. Both him and Jongho were already dressed and ready to leave while San still stood in his pajamas and messy bed head.
"Aish- why didn't anyone wake me up?" He groans out in annoyance. He accidentally slept in and when he finally woke up he found that everyone was already up and practically ready.
"We tried, you told us to leave you alone so we did" Jongho retorts with a raised brow. San looks away in defeat. He doesn't remember saying anything like that but he knew it sounded like something he'd say.
Just when he was finally beginning to think he might just have to forget about brushing and just throw on his clothes then leave, the bathroom door flies open and Wooyoung steps out with a teasing smile. His purple hair brushing his forehead and a simple small hoop earring on both his ears. He winks at San before walking past him.
"It's all yours" He says to him and San has to stop himself from punching the smug look off his face. That bastard, he wasted time intentionally.
San then decides that he'd rather yell at him later than do it now and waste the couple minutes he had left. After he was done brushing and fixing his hair he quickly runs back in the room to get some proper clothes on.
Jongho and Yunho had already left all that remained was the devil himself. He layed in his bed, his head resting on his arm, while looking at his phone. He looks up at San when he runs back into the room.
"Ughh- why the hell are you still here?" San asks with an irritated tone as he digs through his bag of clothes.
"Isn't it obvious. I was waiting for you" He replies then sits up, his gaze still on the blonde.
"Well I don't need a security guard, thanks" He replies sarcastically then pulls off his pajama top to wear his t-shirt. He could feel Wooyoung's eyes on him and he couldn't help but smirk a little. He's so obvious it's almost sad.
"Take a picture it'll last longer" San speaks up mockingly as he slips his pants off as well exposing his grey boxers and slender legs. His voice breaking the long silence.
"Can I actually?" He retorts while opening up his phone.
"You're such a creep. Take a photo and I'll end you" San threatens which then causes Wooyoung to raise his hands in mock surrender.
"I was kidding" He replies with a laugh while standing up from the bed. San was pretty much ready. He slipped on his dance sneakers and grabbed his black vans hoodie as well as a bottle of water.
"I wasn't" He responds with a raised brow and a smug smile then he turns to leave. Wooyoung stood there a bit surprised for a few short seconds before following close behind him, making sure to lock their door behind him.
They both walk to the practice room, Wooyoung trying to make conversation and San shutting him down every time. Finally they enter at the exact same time their instructor walks in.
"Talk about perfect timing" San mutters to himself in relief. He makes a mental reminder to never sleep in again.
All the dancers were lined up in a random order so San quickly wiggles his way to Hongjoong who stood with two other people he had never met. One of them had a few small acne on his cheeks and the other had hair styled to perfection.
San awkwardly smiles at the two strangers and stands next to Hongjoong. "You were almost late. What happened?" Hongjoong asks under a whisper as the teacher begins to address everyone.
"Slept in" San whispers back.
After 30 minutes the group was split into 2 groups of 52. One group would have a different teacher and would deal with contemporary while the other, hip hop. Halfway through the year both teams would switch concepts.
San was glad that he didn't have to deal with contemporary quite yet. Hongjoong grips his arm with a giddy smile.
"We're in the same group" He whisper shouts and San couldn't help but giggle. His laugh turns into a surprised look when he sees who was also in the hip hop group. Wooyoung as well as his other roommates.
Wooyoung winks at him and he gags slightly before looking away.
Once all the contemporary dancers left to a different room with the contemporary dance teacher, the hip hop teacher turns to them and begins to split them further into teams of 8.
"Teams will be made by putting two rooms together. Room 2 and 6 is a team, room 8 and 3, room 1 and 5..." He continues to call out different teams but San blanked out the minute he mentioned how the teams were being created. That meant he was to work with Wooyoung and he was seriously dreading it.
"...room 42 and 57" At this Hongjoong looks at San in surprise.
"We're in a team?" He asks in disbelief and San looks back with a small smile.
"Guess so" He responds while pinching the shorter boy's cheeks a little.
Once all the teams were assigned they were all meant to meet with the other room they were working with and decide who the leader would be.
"Hey guys" Hongjoong says cheerily at San's roommates. Jongho waves slightly then greets him back. They all begin to introduce each other and weirdly enough the whole time Wooyoung kept looking at San. His gaze made him feel slightly uncomfortable and paranoid. Did I have some toothpaste on my cheek or something?
Everyone else was busy talking and getting to know each other so he used that chance to subtly wipe his cheeks. He looked up at Wooyoung and watches as an amused smile forms on lips before he chuckles a bit.
Everyone looks at him strangely at the sudden laughter. "What's so funny?" Seonghwa asks with a raised brow.
"Just a joke I just remembered. It's stupid" He replies with a smile then he waves it off before glancing back at San who was now shooting daggers at him.
San wasn't sure if he could spend another minute with the cocky bastard much less a whole year.

A week later
"Step, step, step, 1,2,3, step" Hongjoong calls out as they all dance on beat and completely synchronized. Well all except one. "Ok everyone, 10 minute break"
It was decided a week that he was the leader which meant he had to be on top of his game and made sure no one was slacking. While everyone went to grab some water or just leave the practice room San quickly wipes the sweat from his forehead and goes to Wooyoung who was laying the floor and scrolling through his phone, beating Hongjoong to it.
Wooyoung looks at him in question before sitting up. "What's up gorgeous?" He asks with his signature flirty smile and San wanted to kick him but deep down he felt his heart flutter each time he called him that.
"I told you to stop calling me that" He replies with an unamused frown. "How come you aren't keeping up with the group?"
All groups of 8 are supposed to create a choreography and perform it in 2 weeks in front of everyone else. Then everyone would vote on the best one.
The team with the lowest point or votes would have to go home and San wasn't planning on going home at all.
"Well I've just been lacking some motivation that's all" Wooyoung replies then goes back to looking at his phone. His nonchalant attitude was starting to get on San's nerves.
"Do you realize how important this is? If we don't do well we'll be outvoted and kicked out. Is that what you want?" San whispers screams as he squats in front of the purple haired boy. He felt furious, there was no way his chance was gonna get ruined by an uncultured man hoe.
"Hm" Wooyoung looks at him in thought for a while, San staring back at him with just as much intensity. Then he stands up with a stretch and a yawn.
"Fine. Let's go over it a couple times before everyone comes back" Wooyoung mutters out as he begins to walk towards the music player. San was caught off guard by his comment. He stood there blinking in surprise for a few seconds. He was seriously expecting him to blow him off or retort with his usual halfwitted comment.
"Any time today" Wooyoung speaks up in amusement and San finally snaps out of his trance.
They begin to practice and San notices that Wooyoung was now finally keeping up with him. His moves weren't as sloppy and they were sharp. So he was pretending to slack off? The idiot, he thinks to himself.
"You're..." He breathes hard trying to catch his breathe. "...pretty good. Why were you all sloppy earlier" San huffs out then takes a sip of his water.
Wooyoung shrugs with a small laugh. "Like I said, I wasn't feeling motivated"
"So I motivated you?" San asks teasingly, a smirk forming on his lips.
"Something like that..." He returns the smirk then begins to inch closer to him. San knew exactly what he was attempting to do but for some reason he didn't try moving away. He secretly wanted a taste of those perfectly shaped lips of his.
Wooyoung angles his head for the kiss and leans in closer, San following his lead. Their noses were practically touching and just when they were about to connect lips San hears the voice of Hongjoong and Yeosang approaching.
He quickly steps back, breaking from the spell Wooyoung put him in. At that exact second both of the roommates walk into the practice room laughing at something.
Hongjoong looks at San who stood there awkwardly and Wooyoung who stood with a triumphant grin. "What's going on?" He asks curiously.
"Nothing. I- we were j-just going over the choreography" San stutters out. He seriously felt disgusted with himself. He of all people should know that it's a terrible idea to kiss a fuckboy. He was disgusted with himself because he actually wanted to kiss him. He wanted to make out with him. He wanted to run his hands through his thick dark purple hair as he gave him numerous hickeys. And worst of all, he wanted to sleep with him.
San couldn't contain all the dirty thoughts that perverted his mind. He needed to get away from him.
"I'm gonna leave early today. When everyone gets back tell them I felt sick" San quickly adds as he grabs his sweater and water bottle. He glances at Wooyoung and sees that the corners of his lips were lifted ever so slightly.
He's getting to you and he knows it. This is exactly what he wants. Asshole.
"Yeah alright. Are you ok though? You're acting kinda strange" Hongjoong replies and San only flashes a smile that was obviously fake.
"I'm fine really. Just a bit tired. Some rest will make me feel better I promise" He says assuredly before finally exiting the practice room.
