Bzz.
Bzz.
Hongjoong groans out in annoyance after the 5th buzz of his phone indicating a text. He digs the device from under his pillow, already having an idea who it was but he wasn't interested in whatever he had to say. He wasn't interested in him anymore.
Though he let curiosity get the best of him and he decides to take a look at a few of the several texts Seonghwa had been sent.

Asshole
Asshole:
Hongjoong
Can you please talk to me?
I fucked up, I know I did but I did not kiss him
He came on to me. Wooyoung's just a friend you know that
Please pick up your phone
Joong please I'm so fucking sorry
I just want to explain everything
---
It'd only been a few days since it happened. Since Hongjoong started avoiding him but it felt much longer. There wasn't a day Seonghwa didn't text. He tried calling and texting but Hongjoong ignored it every single time.
Just the day before the older male had actually showed up to his house but he was thankful for his mom who always had his back. She had told the boy that Hongjoong wasn't home even though he was right up in his room.
As Hongjoong scrolled through the unread missed texts he felt his eyes blur up with tears and his chest tighten. He felt like history was repeating itself somehow. He swore the universe was laughing at his misfortune. Serves me right.. I've always had shit luck when it came to boys.
He reaches the end of the long series of texts then he bit his lip as he thought hard about responding. No, you can't. You have to move on. He's no good for you.
But.. I miss him so much.
I miss his stupid jokes. And his stupid hugs... And his smile... and his kisses. I wanted things to work out between us so bad. Fuck, I wanted him to be the one.
I don't know. He digs his face into his pillow and releases a frustrated groan. What should I do? I mean yeah he's probably right about Wooyoung kissing him first why'd hesitate before pulling back? I was there I saw it all go down. Don't even get me started on the screenshots Wooyoung sent.
There was just too much holes in the story and nothing was adding up. It was starting to make his head hurt the longer he thought about it.
So he stopped thinking and quickly turns on his back, opens up his phone and types up a text before his mind could catch up with what he was doing. Immediately after he hit send he nearly threw himself out of his window.
His eyes widens as he stares at the text he sent. "Shit. No. Fuck" he spews a string of curse words and tosses his phone to the side. The toss must've been harder than he thought because the device goes sliding down his bed and lands on the carpeted floor with a thud.
Hongjoong didn't notice. He was too busy trying to bury himself in his bed. The covers over his head as he layed on his side, knees tucked to his chest and thumb nail in his mouth.
It doesn't take long before his phone buzzes again from the floor. Hongjoong's heart leaps forward at the sound. He was almost terrified to open up the text.
After what felt like forever he crawls out of the sheets and retrieves his phone from the floor. His sweaty shaky hands opening up the text.

Asshole
Hongjoong:
fuck you
Asshole:
I know you hate me. You have every right to. I'm so sorry I hurt you Hongjoong. I don't even want to make up anymore excuses for myself
I just
Idk
I miss you
And I'm sorry
Please call me, I just want us to talk
---
Hongjoong felt his bottom lip quiver and his eyes stung. This time he was sure the tears would fall. He wasn't even entirely sure what to say.
---
Hongjoong:
if you wanna talk let's do it in person
I'll meet you at the bottom of the grand stairs at Naksan in 2 hours
Seonghwa:
Yes I'll definitely be there
---
The photo of the older male pops up on his screen and Hongjoong quick turns off his phone and sinks deeper in his bed. He knew if he stared at the photo for another second longer his resolve would crumble so fast.
He sighs loudly, clutching his minions plushie to his chest. His heart already racing at the fact that he was going to be face to face with Seonghwa again after almost a week of no contact.
He was a ball of nerves. But he felt like he was ready to hear what Seonghwa had to say then he'll make his final decision.
"Ugh- what am I doing"
"So... are we dating now?" Wooyoung blurts out, breaking the calm silence of his room. San, who layed on his belly while scrolling through on his laptop, snaps his head in the younger male's direction.
Wooyoung sits up slightly on the bed, a cute pout on his lips. They're home alone which lately was becoming more and more rare. Wooyoung noticed his mom stopped taking night shifts so she was always home by 8. And San's dad worked less during the day so he'd often be home till 2 or 3, sometimes later.
Wooyoung was sure his mom was just trying to separate them as much as she could. Thankfully San's dad was still in the dark and both males would like to keep it that way for as long as possible.
San felt the corners of his lips lift up ever so slightly at the spontaneous question. "That's... random"
"Well..." Wooyoung starts as he crawls on San's back, straddling his hips and wrapping his arms around his torso. This causes his entire weight to fall on to San, his elbows digging deeper into the sheets. "..we've been acting like it so I just thought I'd ask" He mumbles as he buried his face in San's warm neck. He smells so good. He always smells good, he thought to himself.
San wasn't quite sure what to say. It's true that for the past week or so they've definitely gotten closer. Like a lot closer than before. Wooyoung always clung to his side and found every excuse in the book to spend more time with him. Not that he wasn't complaining. Though they tried to tone it down whenever their parents were around.
They confided in each other and when Wooyoung couldn't sleep he'd call San and they'd talk through the phone till 3am. Odd, seeing as they were right across the hallway from each other. But his mom was always home and unlike San's dad, she was an extremely light sleeper. A coin would drop in the kitchen and she'd be able to hear it from her bedroom. So they couldn't risk sneaking into each other's room.
San could now fully admit that he definitely trusts Wooyoung. And the feeling was mutual between both males.
San felt a shiver crawl down his spine when he feels Wooyoung's hot lips on his ear followed by his teeth grazing the soft cartilage. "Yah- g-get off I'm trying to work" He stutters out, a blush spreading on his cheeks.
"You never answered my question" Wooyoung pushes.
"I don't know what you want me to say. We're still technically brothers"
"Step brothers" Wooyoung corrects.
"Yeah yeah, whatever" San resumes his work, his brows furrowed as he turns his attention back to his laptop.
Wooyoung sighs and rests his chin on San's shoulder looking at the bright LED screen San seemed to be so fixated on. The first thing he noticed was what looked to be the logo to some university at the rop left hand corner off the screen.
"What are you even doing?" He mumbles out, arms squeezing tighter around San's chest.
"I haven't heard anything from Yeungnam yet. No mail of acceptance. No email. Nothing" He sounds disheartened, his lips dipping into a frown.
Wooyoung immediately felt his heart jump at the mention of Yeungnam. He knew San got a letter because he took it. As a matter of fact he was sure the crumpled up letter was laying somewhere underneath his bed.
He swallows the phantom stone in his throat but doesn't say anything for a few seconds. "You need to get your mind off it maybe" He suggests, a small smile on his lips.
San turns his head to the side in order to look back at the dark haired male on his back. "I don't know Woo.." He sounds unsure.
"C'mon. Let's do something together. We can go for a walk or even go to the mall if you want" Wooyoung pushes further, his voice a little more enthusiastic. The excitement of going out with San too much to contain. He falls off San's back and back on the bed.
"Please" He says with a pout, now laying on his side. His long dark hair falling on the edge of San's keyboard. San stares down at his dark brown eyes and immediately caved.
A small smile grows on his rosy pink lips. "Fine" Wooyoung immediately hollers happily then a smile too beautiful yet contagious spreads on his soft looking lips.
San couldn't help himself. It shouldn't be much of a surprise that whenever it came to Wooyoung he had no self restraint. He captures the younger's lips in his, engaging in a slow yet heated kiss. The contact made Wooyoung's heart leap forward and his skin to tingle.
San slides his hand up until it lands on the side of Wooyoung's neck, he holds him like a delicate flower whilst still engaging in the sweet kiss. His thumb draws small circles on the younger's smooth jawline.
Wooyoung felt his mind fog up but all he could focus on was San's breathtaking lips. How he would kiss him and make every single kiss feel like his first. It was insane how he felt around San. How happy he felt. He never wanted that to change.
San pulls back slightly and smiles softly against his lips. Wooyoung's eyes flutters open and a smile mirrors on his own lips. "Why are you smiling?" He questions, his voice just under a whisper since they were already so close. San's lips still hovering close over his.
"Nothing, you're just.. really special, y'know that?" He responds, his smile slowly falls but traces of it can still be seen.
Wooyoung wasn't sure what he meant by that but he was positive his cheeks were a flushed red. "Of course I'm special. I'm Jung Wooyoung" He retorts playfully and San scoffs at him and rolls his eyes, this causes Wooyoung to laugh. His loud contagious laugh bounces of the walls of the room. It was like music to San's ears.
San joins in on the laughter and as his laugh dies down his dips his head in the crook of Wooyoung's neck, eyes shut and laptop now completely forgotten. He inhaled deeply and smiles to himself then he brought Wooyoung closer to him. Jung Wooyoung... I'm so undeniably in love with you.
And why do I have a feeling you feel the same.
