Wooyoung loves sex.

It felt like an escape from reality. Those blissful couple seconds, skin dampened with sweat and a mind numbing orgasm enveloping all his senses, was his favorite. In those seconds he felt like he was anywhere but on earth.

A feeling so addicting, he craved it almost constantly. He falls back on his bed with loud heavy breathes, pajama pants low on his hips exposing his spent dick. He glances down at the white sticky mess he had created on his hand and t-shirt then he groans and shuts his eyes, enjoying the silence of the house.

A few moments later, after he'd gathered the energy to get up and clean himself, he yanks his bedroom door open and skipped down the stairs. His soft footsteps echoes as his feet made contact with the cold hardwood floors.

He made a beeline for the fridge and scanned the haven space for something to keep himself occupied with while his mom was out on her date.

She'd been seeing this one guy for months now and honestly, Wooyoung thinks she's the happiest she's been since his father and her divorced. She was always smiling and gushing about how great he is.

Wooyoung didn't care to know him. He might've met the man once or twice? He knew the man's name and that he has a son, but that was about it.

He falls down on the cold leather of the couch with a bowl of leftover food his mom had left him to eat for dinner, folded his legs then turned on the TV.

After a while he grew bored again then opens up his phone, scrolling absentmindedly through the small device. He opens up his last chat and begins typing before sending the text.

"He's out again. Y'know I'm convinced they're engaged but he just doesn't know how to tell me" San mumbles to his friend through his cellphone in reference to his father and suspected fiancé.

He turns to lay on his back and stares up at the off white ceiling in his room. "Just ask him" Hongjoong replies after a few seconds of obnoxious lip smacking from eating something.

San cringes at the sound and glares at his phone as though the shorter male could see him. "Yah- what are you eating?"

"Dick" Hongjoong says sarcastically but quickly laughs it off. "Kidding kidding"

"You're so-" San pushes himself off the bed and runs his hand through his jet black hair. He stretches loudly then rubs his eyes tiredly.

"Why did you sound like an elephant giving birth?" Hongjoong calls out after San's dramatic yawn had passed.

"Shut up" He scowls at the older's comment, picks up his phone and exited his room. He's home alone and has no siblings, the only people occupying the house being him and his dad.

He found it to be lonely to say the least. That's why he often called his best friend, Hongjoong, almost every night (when the shorter wasn't working) to keep him company.

Living with his dad in a 2 bedroom apartment wasn't all that bad. He loved the amount of privacy he got but with his dad working around the clock or out on a date with his girlfriend it often got lonesome.

He made his way through the quiet apartment and towards the balcony. He slides the glass door open and steps out into the frosty January night air. "You reckon I could just move out after highschool?" San speaks up, phone still gripped in his hand. Both males have until June before they were out of highschool but San didn't really have any plans for college at the moment.

"Hm? San, you rarely turn in your assignments on time how will you keep up with bills and stuff" Hongjoong says mockingly and San nods in silent agreement.

He's right...

"Ugh being an adult sounds like too much work" The 17 year old whines out loud. He leans forward on the old rusty metal railing and gazes down at the gorgeous city that is Seoul. It's twinkling lights dancing on his irises ever so slightly.

"No kidding. My parents are making me pay for my own car insurance now. I'm gonna cry" He says with a fake sob and San couldn't help but grin at his friend's ugly fake cry.

"At least you have a car" He mutters as he traces the black lines of the tattoo embedded on his forearm.

"You're so annoying" Hongjoong's voice echoes out after a long sigh. San laughs, his eyes forming crescents and dimples making a quick appearance.

Just then he hears his front door creak open and he turns. "That must be dad. Gotta go, talk tomorrow?" He picks up his phone and prepares to end the call.

"Yup. G'night"

"Night" The line goes dead and he waddles back inside to greet his dad, shutting the door behind him.

The man just stood at the entrance with a bewildered expression on his face and back pressed to the front door. He had features very similar to San. At least that's what everyone told the teen. San still couldn't see the similarity.

"Hey dad... Is everything ok? How was the date?" He questions cautiously from his spot across the small living room space.

"She said yes" His dad responds quietly and in slight disbelief. San cocks his head to the side, brows creased on confusion.

"Huh?"

"She. said. yes" He says it again but with the widest smile San had ever seen on his father's lips. "I proposed and she said yes"

San was stunned. He wasn't even aware he would be proposing. "O-oh" was all he managed to croak out.

His father was quick to catch the confused and uncertain look on his son's face. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you first" He starts, "I just wanted to keep this to myself for the time being. I really do love her San and I know you've only met her a handful of times so I was hoping we could all meet up for a nice dinner so you can get to see how great she is"

San thinks about it for a brief second then releases a long sigh. "Whatever makes you happy dad" He mutters and the man smiles with gratitude. It's been nearly 10 years since the pair lost their wife and mother to pancreatic cancer. And nearly 10 years since San's dad looked this happy about anything, he couldn't bring himself to be upset at him.

"I'm gonna take a shower. You had dinner yet?" The man pulls off his dress shoes and begins unbuttoning his striped dress shirt.

"Yeah" He responds curtly.

"Ok. Also, I dont know If I told you this yet but she has a son too. You both should be the same age so you'll finally get that sibling you've always wanted" He adds with an excited smile as if this piece of information would excite San.

It didn't.

San scoffs playfully. "Yeah, when I was 5"

"So you don't want a sibling?"

"Not really.. not anymore" Not after mom died.

"Ah, well you both should get along really well. Met him once and he seems like a nice kid"

"Wow, already shaking with excitement" He replies sarcastically.

Wooyoung was startled awake from the sound of his mom's high pitched screams followed by her heels clicking loudly on the hardwood floors. He'd been watching TV but must've fallen asleep on the couch.

"Wooyoung! Oh my god, I'm gonna cry. It's so beautiful" She quickly pulls off her shoes and practically hopped over to him. Wooyoung, who was still very much confused and disoriented, rubbed his eyes sleepily and looked at her.

"What is it? What's going on?"

"I'm getting married" She says in a sing song voice the she holds out her left hand to her son. Wooyoung stared wide eyed at the glistening diamond ring that sat on her ring finger. The light from the TV reflecting off the ring and making it look iridescent.

"He proposed..? Already?" Was all he mutters out in a groggy voice.

She scoffs and flicks his forehead. "We've been seeing each other for almost 9 months"

"Yeah, exactly" He didn't want to say he wasn't happy for her. He was just surprised.

"I knew you'd say some shit like that" She pulls herself to her feet with a disappointed look on her face.

"But that doesn't mean I'm not happy for you!" He quickly adds when he realized how excited she was in regards to telling him about her engagement. "I was just surprised is all"

"Yeah well 9 months may seem like a short time to you but it was long enough for the both of us" She says with no falter.

Great, she's mad, Wooyoung thinks to himself. "Yeah you're right" He sighs in hopes of dissipating whatever anger she had building up.

"Of course I am. We're having dinner next week and you're gonna meet him and your future step brother" She didn't sound like she was giving him much of a choice.

Wooyoung just falls back on the couch with an exasperated sigh. "You're kidding"

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" She demands then sucks her teeth before turning to leave. "I'm gonna take a bath" She says as she practically stomps up the stairs like a toddler having a temper tantrum.

Wooyoung turns to his phone with half lidded eyes and turns on the device. 12:37am, it read. Then he drops it back to his side and throws his arm over his eyes in a tired sigh.
