Chapter Four, Nerd Room

Ding, Dong! Went my door bell, I walked over to the door in my smurf PJs and sonic tee, my glasses were perched on my nose and my hair was in a mess bun. I flung my door open to see Parker, awe shit!

“Hi…” I said to him

“Hi, Liberty looking beautiful as always I thought I’d come and go over something’s with you for the court date.” He told me with a smile

“Okie.” I told him “I’m doing to change.” I told him and hurried and changed into, some black yoga pants and a white floral print tank-top.

After going over the court info, I poured some hot chocolate for Parker and me. Parker looked at me with his dark green eyes.

“Hey um, Liberty, do you maybe wanna go out sometime, I mean if you don’t want to that’s okay…” he started to rant nervously

“Yeah it sounds fun.” I told him while smiling

“Okay, well why don’t we do it after court.” He suggested

I sat down on my big comfy couch while Parker looked at my pictures.

“Did she draw these?” he asked pointing to the picture Danny drew.

“Yeah.” I told him

“She was an amazing artist, and I was her biggest fan.” I told him

I picked up her sketch book that laid on the coffee table. I flipped through the book till I found the picture I was looking for.

“I remember when she showed me this, it was only weeks after she told me she was a lesbian…” I pointed to the picture of two young women holding hands at an altar. “She said I hope this will be me one day, and I told her that when she was I would be in the front row.” I told him as a few tears fell; he pulled me into his warm chest and held me as I cried.

“You know I don’t know very much about you, wanna change that?” Parker said flirty with a hint of joking. I laughed and his comment.

 We sat on my couch, as he fired questions at me.

“Favourite color?”

“Lime Green.”

“Favourite snack?”

“Mars bars.”

“Cutest underwear?”

“Haha very funny.” I told him with a smile as he send me that cute grin, and winked at me

“Hey where’s the bathroom?” Parker asked

“Down the hall door on the left.” I told him

After a while I went to look for him I found him in my nerd room.

“What’cha doing?” I asked

“Who knew the beautiful Liberty was a secret nerd.” He joked

“actually I have always be a nerd.” I told him and stuck my tongue out at him.

I took off down the hall, with Parker close behind.

“Got you.” Parker whispered in to my ear after, he caught me off guard and we both feel onto the floor, his face was inches away from my face, his  eyes flickered down to my lips and back up to my eyes, I gave him a quick nod and just milliseconds away from our lips touching, someone coughed.

I looked up to see my beloved mother, oh shit.

“Hi Mom...” I greeted her

Parker and I quickly got off the ground.

“Liberty, why on earth are you suing that school? And who is this young man?” my mother asked

“Did you not read the God damn paper it says right in the text! This is Parker.” I told her

“That is no way to talk to your mom, and what happened to that lovely Mark.” She said

“You know what happened between Mark and me! I am a grown woman I will talk to you however I want! Now tell me why the hell you are in my house!” I yelled at her

“Well I wanted to stop you before you make a fool of you self! Liberty suing an school, for no r-” she started

“NO REASON! You think Danny’s Death isn’t a reason! What the fuck is wrong with you! Danny was nice to you, even after what happened! She was the one who told me to forgive you!” I growled at her

“Liberty there is no reason to bring that up!” she yelled at me

“Why? Mother? Is it because Parker’s here?” I yelled at her

“I think he should know how bad of a mother you are. Parker my dear mother here-” I started

“LIBERTY!” roared my mother

“No Mother he should know!”

“She let my father rape and beat me when I was thirteen.”” I told Parker

“Liberty!” my mom yelled

“No Mother! She watched my dad do it every day for 2 years!” I said

My Mother stormed out of my house. Thank god.

“Liberty is that true?” he asked

“Yes, it’s time for you to hear the full story…”
