Epilogue: Liars Know Liars
~Your POV~
In a flash the fight was over. With me, Kokichi, Tenko, and Kaito all working together it was easy to defeat all three masterminds, Monokuma, The Exisals, and The Monokubs. With Kokichi giving orders with his Eve weapon in hand we were able to come out victorious. Sorry if you were expecting some big fight but when it comes to vampires we don't like messing around. So now here I am, stareing at the sunset in the sky from the roof of the school. Wondering what would happen next. It felt...oddly fitting. Yes, a fitting conclusion for this chapter of my long life. Masterminds defeated, Kokichi safe, lives sparred. I heard a noise and before I knew it Kokichi was at my side gripping the safely rail in front of him tightly. Think of the devil. I thought to myself with a smile. "Okay, lets not do that again." He said with a bright smile and panic filled eyes. I giggled a little bit. "What happened?" I asked. "I decided to see how far I could jump now that I was a vampire and weeeeeeeell now I'm here." He said. His knuckles were getting white with how hard he was gripping the rail. I chuckled a little bit and put my hands on top of his. "Calm down. You'll get used to it after a while and some practice." I said. He slowly loosened his grip and I took his hands in my own. We both froze at the sudden movement. Earlier that had been me acting on Servamp impulse. Now I kinda felt embarrassed at my behavior. "Kokichi...I'm sorry about what I did earlier. About that weird speech and getting that close. That was my Servamp of Insanity talking, not me. I know that was probably way out of your comfort zone." I apologized releasing his hands. "I wasn't out of my comfort zone." Kokichi said suddenly shocking me slightly. "I was with you. I could never be out of my comfort zone around you." He said. He took my hand in his and looked me in the eyes. "You make me feel safe, (Y/N). Nothing you could ever do would change that." He said. As he was talking I was able to see his fangs. Finally it sunk in that Kokichi was immortal now. "What have I done to you?" I questioned quietly with a sad look in my eyes. I looked away from him. "I made you immortal. I've done something horrible. I'm so sorry." I said. I pulled my hand away from his and turned away. "I shouldn't have done that. Why did I do that? You're cursed now. You're like me. I've done something terrible." I said. Kokichi grabbed my hand again and slowly pulled me down next to him. We now sat on the ground next to eachother with my looking away from him. "What are you apologizing for? You saved my life." Kokichi said. "At the cost of immortality. That's a curse. I've cursed you to be like me. I'm sorry." I said again. I placed my hand over the left half of my face. "You're stuck with me for all eternity. You'll outlive almost everyone besides me. I'm so sorry. You shouldn't have to go through all the s*it that I have. You won't get to die in peace. You'll be stuck with my sorry a*s forever. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I said shaking my head slightly. Kokichi reached over and pulled my hand away from my face. "It's not that bad." He said. I shook my head again, not believing him. "It's not that bad because I get to spend eternity with you." He said. "What?" I questioned, looking at him with shock. He smiled resting his hand on my cheek. "I may be immortal now, but that just means I get to be with you til the end of time. After all...what's better than spending eternity with the one you love?"
"L-love?" I questioned. I shook my head again. "No, no. Come on Kokichi quit lying to me already." I said. He shook his head. "I'm not lying." He said. No hint of dishonesty. No lies. "Why?" I questioned tears starting to fall. "Why do you like someone like me?!" I shouted. "What kind of King wouldn't love his Queen?" He shot back. I just looked at him in shock. I smiled slightly and wiped my eyes with a chuckle. "Just when you think you know someone..." I trailed off. "They show an entirely different side of them that you'd never think existed." I said intertwining my fingers with his. "I never thought you'd return the feelings that I've held for so long now." I said with a kind smile. "I fell hard. Thanks for catching me." I said my cheeks tinted pink. He chuckled. "You're welcome (Y/N)." He said. Just then when our eyes locked I didn't want to look away. I didn't want that moment to end. Everything seemed perfect. He was perfect. My little Eve. Our lips locked together in the heat of the moment. I loved it. I loved him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and he wrapped his arms around my neck. He titled his head slightly deepening the kiss. But the moment was shattered when the door to the roof slammed open. I pulled away from Kokichi and shot a glare at Kaito at the door. He blushed and looked away. "Whoops sorry!" He said. "D*MNIT KAITO! WE WERE HAVING A MOMENT!" I shouted. Kokichi glared daggers at the astronaut with a bright blush on his face. "Umm...It's kinda important but...it can...wait...Umm....I'm gonna, go now...Meet me in the dining hall...when you're...umm...finished here..." Kaito trailed off closing the door behind him slowly. "I swear to Satan..." I trailed off grumbling under my breath. "(Y/N)?" Kokichi questioned with a slight snicker in his voice. I turned back to him still having my arms around his waist. "Sorry. Lost my cool there. Ugh." I said. I hate being interrupted when I'm doing something important. I thought to myself rolling my eyes. "Umm...(Y/N)..." Kokichi trailed off, a blush on his face. "Yeah?" I questioned. He looked down slightly avoiding eye contact. "Umm...well...Do you think that...you can...kiss me like that again?" He asked has face turning bright red. I smirked slightly. "Oh?~ So you liked that huh?" I questioned in a teasing tone. "S-shut up!" Kokichi stuttered, red as a cherry. I took his chin in my hand tilting his face up slightly to look me in the eyes. "But if you really want me too, then I'm happy to fulfill that request." I said a blush present on my face as well. I pressed my lips on his in another passionate kiss. After a while I pulled away. Kokichi whimpered a little at the lose of contact. I smiled slightly resting my hand on his cheek. "We can continue this later. Might want to see what Kaito wants." I said. Kokichi groaned slightly but muttered a small and reluctant 'fine'. I stood up tugging Kokichi with me before scooping him up bridal style. "ACK! (Y/N)! Put me down!" He shouted. I smirked. "Sorry princess, no can do. Besides this is much faster than just walking down stairs." I said. "Wait, what do you mean!? What are you going to do!? (Y/N)!" He shouted, starting to panic once he spotted the smirk on my face. I jumped up onto the safety rails and Kokichi's arms flung out around my neck. He looked down with panic in his eyes. "(Y/N)! Don't you dare! I swear you do what I think you're about to do! (Y/N)!" He shouted. "Just relax, Ko. You know I'd never let you get hurt." I said calmly. "Hang on tight." I said, still smirking. He closed his eyes shut and hung onto me tightly. I jumped off the rail, Kokichi yelping in shock with the sudden movement. He buried his face in my shoulder as I smirked. Once we landed on the ground I dashed inside at top speed. We were in the dinning hall in a flash. Kaito, Maki, Tenko, and Himiko were giving me and Kokichi weird looks. "Kokichi you can let go now." I said. Kokichi was still clinging to me tightly with his eyes closed. "Uh-uh." He said quickly shaking his head. I chuckled a little at my cute little Eve. He just buried his head in my shoulder to which me and a few of the others just 'aww'ed at. I decided to refocus. "So Kaito, what is it that you needed us for?" I questioned. "Well umm..." He trailed off before stepping to the side. What I saw shocked me. There was a women sitting there. Looking about twenty five if I had to guess. She had black hair and blue eyes wearing a white lab coat. She was tapping away at a tablet in her hands. "Ah, you're all here." She said placing the tablet down. She walked over to me before looking me dead in the eyes. "Right. The vampire. You ruined our game y'know." She said. Me, still trying to recover from shock of there being another human, was dumbfounded by her words. She shot a look at Kokichi who was shooting her a side glare. "Right. And you should be dead along with Kaito. That's how it was planned." She sighed with an annoyed expression. Kokichi gave me a few light taps telling me to set him down. I helped him stand before he glared at the women. "And who are you to be playing God lady. Last time I checked I never signed a God d*mn contract saying that I had to let someone decide whether I was to live or to die. Nope the only contract I signed was one that gave me protection and a companion." He said shooting me a look and smile. I smiled back. The women sighed in annoyance before clapping her hands. Next thing we knew a few more people were flooding into the room each one being followed by a classmate we thought to be dead. The people in lab coats all left the dining hall, including the women with her tablet.
I was shocked beyond belief. "Never...In all my years have I seen something of this magnitude." I mumbled. Maki and Kaito looked sadly at Shuichi while Himiko and Tenko started crying. Kokichi rubbed his eyes a few times, blinked, then rubbed his eyes again. "I can't believe it. There's no way..." He trailed off. "Rantaro, Kaede, Ryoma, Kirumi, Angie, Korekiyo, Miu, Gonta, Shuichi, Tsumugi, and Keebo." I listed going down the line of classmates. I started tearing up looking at Kaede. She was the first death I considered to be my fault. I didn't blame myself for Rantaro's murder. I knew that there was nothing I could do to prevent that. But everyone else. My gaze lingered on Gonta before I full blown started sobbing. I tackle hugged the larger male screaming 'I'm sorry' over and over. "Gonta doesn't blame (Y/N). Please no cry." He said hugging me back. After a while Kokichi tackled Gonta too, screaming the same thing I was while crying. "Gonta no blame Kokichi either. Please no more crying." He said patting the smaller male's head. After a while I began apologizing to everyone. I felt so much guilt in that moment before even questioning how they were alive. I needed to sit down for a minute. "This isn't a trick is it?" I questioned to myself everyone's eyes on me. "I do not believe so." Kirumi said. "Up til this point we've been fully aware of what you've all been doing. We've been able to see things from a third person point of view." Kaede explained. "Gonta no understand it. First Gonta think he dead. Next thing Gonta knew he was watching friends cry over Gonta." Gonta said. Kirumi gave me a small bow. "By watching you I feel as if I understand you better. And you've gained my respects. You are a highly talented servant. I wished I had known beforehand." She said. I smirked a little. "Don't worry about it. I'm just one hell of a Servamp that's all." I said causing Tsumugi and Kokichi to chuckle a little at the reference. Then I turned a glare at Tsumugi and the other two masterminds causing them to flinch. "You three have a lot of nerve. And I don't understand how you're alive when I killed two of you myself." I growled. They all bowed deeply to me and the others, shocking me. "We're so sorry." They all said in unison. "I don't know what came over me. All throughout the game I felt like a completely different person." Keebo said. "Same here. I was conscious through the whole thing but it wasn't me speaking at all. It felt like an entirely different entity had possessed me." Tsumugi said. She sounded genuine. There was no hint of deception in her voice. Shuichi stood up looking me in the eyes. "I have no excuse for my actions. I was fully aware of my other personality and I've managed to keep a hold on him for so long. I should have told someone. I should have come to you. I shouldn't have let him take control willingly like that. But its as if all my resistance had been taken down. He had full control. But don't worry. I've got him under control again. And I'm so sorry for what he's done to all of you. Being a mastermind for this dumb killing game. It was the worst." He said. The other two stood up straight again eyes begging for forgiveness. I shot a look at Kokichi. "Well, do you sense any lies in their statements?" I questioned. Knowing full well that Kokichi was a human lie detector. He sighed slightly. "As much as I hate it there is no dishonesty in their statements. However that does not mean I'll forgive them that easily." He growled. I nodded. "I've sensed nothing in their statements that sets off red flags for me. But I ain't letting it go that easily. It takes more than that to earn my trust." I growled glaring at the three. They all nodded, understanding. "But I feel as if we're missing something here." I mumbled. That's when the women came back in.
"Glad to see you're all done with water works. Now then. I feel that you deserve some explanations before we kill all of you off." She said. She shot me and Kokichi a look. "Maybe wipe your memories and use you two for experiments or the next killing game. Might have to change a few things so that you don't end up breaking my next killing game." She growled. She sighed and explained that the killing game we just completed was a show called Danganronpa, ran by Team Danganronpa, which had reached its fifty third season. We were all Ultimate Students picked off of the streets for the next game. For some of us they altered our personalities. Like with Korekiyo and his obsession with his sister enough to make him kill for her. That was fake. Tsumugi, Shuichi, and Keebo being the masterminds. Also staged by altered personalities. It was all staged. And now they were going to kill us off for real this time. "Well I'll let you all make peace with yourselves before I send someone in here to kill you. Use this time wisely. You have twenty minutes." She said before exiting again. I didn't waste time. I ran into the kitchen fast as lightning grabbing a few cups before setting them on the table with a knife in hand. "Okay lets go over the pros and cons of becoming subclass quickly. We don't have much time and the transformation takes ten minutes to fully complete. Kokichi, Kaito, and Tenko help me explain it quickly." I said. Not questioning my order they all helped me list off pros and cons shocking everyone. "Alright now that we've gotten though all that, anyone who is willing to live through this and go see our loved ones again at the cost of being immortal step up now. Remember you'll have to follow my orders, and by that extent Kokichi's as well. It may not be pleasant. And I'm pretty sure a lot of you are going to be really reluctant about this. But I don't want any of you to die in front of me again when I can do something about it this time. Even if I didn't like you before in the killing game, I'm past that. I'll still protect all of you as we leave and I will get you out of here even if you don't choose to become my Subclass. But it'll be a heck of a lot easier if you accept and you can fight your way out as supernatural creatures. So I ask you this one question." I said. My eyes turned red with slits as I cut my wrist and filled the cups with my blood. "Will you all help me burn this killing game to ground for good?" I questioned. Once I filled all the cups I was really light headed and had to sit down. "Let me rephrase that." I said taking a few breaths. "Will you stand by me for eternity and not let me forget emotions...please?" I questioned cracking a small smile. "It'd be nice to have friends who won't die on me." I added with a chuckle. "(Y/N) easy there. You're gonna get sick from bloodloss again." Kokichi said concern lacing his tone. "I'll be fine." I said. He felt my forehead with a sigh. "No you're not you're already running a small fever." He grumbled. Maki walked forward grabbing a cup. "I for one don't want to die. ...Nor do I want to die while the person I love lives on." She said shooting a look at Kaito. "And...I feel like I can connect with some of you. You've helped me to feel again too y'know." She added. She shot me a smile. "I'll stand by you." She said drinking the red substance from the cup. She coughed a little and Kaito helped her stand. "Easy there. You need to sit down the transformation takes a lot of energy." He explained sitting next to her on the ground. "Anyone else?" I questioned. Himiko grabbed a cup. "I refuse to die here! I'll do anything to stop others from going through the same pain I've had to go through during this killing game!" She declared. She downed the cup before Tenko helped her to a seat. "Well?" I prompted. A few people shot looks at eachother. But the next person who walked up was Kirumi. "I do not mind being immortal. (Y/N) it'd be an honer to serve under you. Please allow me to learn from you." She said. I nodded and she drank the cup. Next was Rantaro. "We didn't have many interactions before I well...died and everything. But I remember everything now. About my past. I still have a goal I wish to accomplish. So I will do anything to find them again." He mumbled the last part to himself before shooting me a smile. "Do you think you can help me find my sisters?" He questioned. I gave him a smile. "So you're on the search for siblings as well huh? Its been a while since I've seen the other Servamps. I wouldn't mind helping you if you'll help me." I said. He nodded, drinking the blood. Pretty soon everyone had decided to become a Subclass. Except for Keebo because well....reasons. But now everyone else was resting. I could see their eyes flicking to red every-now-and-then. And I could see fangs starting to grow as well as everyone's skin becoming paler. I was feeling sick because of the bloodloss and the smell of blood still lingered in the dining hall. So I went into the kitchen where the smell was weaker. I stood all the way in the back, furthest away from view. I sat on the ground, needing a breather. I closed my eyes and let out a small sigh. I felt a presence sit in front of me and cracked an eye open. It was Kokichi. I smiled a little letting my eye close again. "Hey." I mumbled. "Hey." He returned. "You really aren't looking to well." He pointed out. I chuckled. "I know. But I've never lost that much blood before." I said.
Kokichi sighed. "You need to drink some blood don't you?" He questioned. I smirked opening my eyes. "I'll find something once we get out of here. There are no more blood bags in the fridge, I checked." I mumbled. "We need you in top condition for this fight y'know." He pointed out. I sighed. "I'll be fine. Besides Maki's an assassin. Now also a vampire. That's a scary combination. We'll be fine." I said. "I don't want to take chances." Kokichi stated firmly. I frowned a little. "Kokichi I'm not drinking your blood." I growled. "(Y/N) if I have to order you I will." He growled back. "I already drank your blood today. You might pass out." I growled. "I'll recover. Why are always so stubborn?" He questioned with a sigh. I closed my eyes again, hoping he'd get the message and just forget it. I may really enjoy drinking his blood, but I'd never do it unless necessary or an order. It could cause him serious damage if I drain him to much. And just the sheer thought of hurting him scared me. I felt warm. And opened my eyes to see Kokichi hugging me. But he had taken off his scarf. My eyes flashed red seeing his neck but I shook my head looking away. "Not your smartest move." I growled. "Nee-heehee. You sure about that? Cause last time I checked my blood is very tempting to you." He said in a teasing tone. I blushed slightly. "You know I don't like drinking you blood more than needed. This could seriously hurt you." I said, whimpering slightly. He hugged me tighter. "It's okay. You've never taken more than you needed. I trust you." He said. My eyes turned red again but I was still fighting it. "If you don't hurry up I'll make it an order. You need to be in top form." He growled. "Fine." I said finally giving in since I knew he hated having to force me to do something. I sunk my fangs into his neck, drawing blood. There was always something about Kokichi's blood that was different. It always tasted sweet to me. Verses all the other times I've tasted nothing but the metallic and tangy taste of blood. I've always felt myself drawn to the scent of his blood. Kokichi was always special. And it shows in his blood.
~Time Skip (also blood warning)~
The women walked with a few people. Each holding a gun or some other form of weapon. She had her eyes focused on her tablet. "Alright I hope you've all made peace with yourselves and said your final goodbyes." She said. "Oh? Shouldn't you be the one preparing for death?" I questioned with a smirk. She looked up with an annoyed expression that quickly morphed to one of fear. Me and Kokichi sat next to eachother smirking at her, eyes turned red, pupils slits. The others all stood on either my left or Kokichi's right. Each wearing matching smirks and red eyes. I had my arm wrapped around Kokichi's waist. Making sure he didn't leave my side since he was a little loopy. "Now guys. First lesson of being a vampire. Feeding. It's important to drink blood in order to keep up your strength. While human blood isn't necessary it's a hell of a lot better than animal blood. So if you get the chance don't hesitate. Now then go enjoy your first feeding. The blood might taste nasty since they're all horrible and sick people but we'll be doing the world a favor by getting rid of them." I said. Fast as lighting the people in lab coats fled. I let out a laugh. "Aw cute. They think that they can survive, that's hilarious. Go on now. You'll need to practice hunting for when we get out of here." I said. Everyone else let out small battle cries or cheers and howls of excitement before rushing out the door giving chase. Kokichi however stayed by side, leaning on me. "Can I hunt later?" He questioned tiredly. I looked at the last person leaving, it was Keebo. "Hey Keebo, can you ask one of the others to save that women for me and Ko? Have someone bring her to us." I said. He nodded. "Will do. And (Y/N)." He said. I hummed in response. He shot me a smile. "Thanks for understanding." He said. I nodded. "You're welcome. Now get a move on before someone kills her. I want her alive." I said. He nodded. "Right." He said taking off again. Me and Kokichi sat there for a minute in silence. He started to stir his nose twitching. "You smell it huh? Good that means your senses are becoming sharper." I said. "Wow that's strong." He said sitting up slightly. His eyes turned red for a minute before returning to purple. I chuckled at my little Eve ruffling his hair. This caused him to giggle a little. I heard a noise and the doors were flung open. The women was thrown in, coughing and trembling. She was bleeding from a few cuts and her white lab coat had been stained by blood. Kirumi was glaring at the human on the ground. "Apologies for taking so long. Maki and Kaito were double teaming her." She said. "No need for apologies. This is actually perfect." I said noting Kokichi's eyes turning blood red out of the corner of my own red eyes. Kirumi bowed before exiting. Once the doors were shut the women got up and pounded on the doors. "LET ME OUT! OPEN UP! SAVE ME!" She shouted. I smirked. "You think anyone is left to save you? They've either been sucked dry or are in the process of dying." I said. Kokichi smirked as well. But I could tell from his tense posture that he was ready to pounce. "Ko, you should drink something." I said. That was his que. He launched forward plunging his fangs into the women's neck. She let out a scream of both terror and pain but it was quickly gurgled out. She fell limp before Kokichi dropped her a little bit of blood on his lips his eyes returning to purple. I walked over and wiped it off with a small smile. "Very good for your first time. So how do you feel?" I questioned. His eyes flashed red again. "Powerful." He responded, his eyes turning purple again. I smirked. "That's good. It means your energy has been replenished. C'mon let's go check up on the others." I said grabbing his hand. He intertwined his fingers with mine before smiling at me. His fangs still stained red. "Red's a good color for you." I said winking at him. He blushed a little as we walked out of the dining hall. We went out to the court yard to see that everyone was covered in blood and ready to go. I looked up to see a blood moon ironically. "Well if that isn't a sign I don't know what is." I said everyone's attention flying to it now. I quickly noticed two missing. "Does anyone know where Kaede and Shuichi are?" I questioned. "I think I saw them making out by the dorms." Miu said. Me and Kokichi laughed a little. Pretty soon the two in questioned ran up hand in hand. "Sorry for the wait." Kaede said. "Get a room." I said rolling my eyes. This caused them both to blush. "So are ya'll ready to close the book on this era?" I questioned. They all nodded, some giving verble agreements. I closed my eyes focusing my energy as my hands were engulfed in flames. I took a breath before smirking and snapping my eyes open. I twirled as flames started to dance around me. "Are you insane like me? Been in pain like me? Bought a hundred dollar bottle champagne of like me? Just to pour that mother f*cker down the drain like me? Would you use your water bill to dry the stain like me?" I sung my flames building up and growing stronger. "Are you high enough with out the maryjane like me? Do you tear yourself apart to entertain like me? Do the people whisper bout you on the train like me? Saying I just shouldn't waste your pretty face like me?" I continued. Finally the flames were strong enough and I released them right above me as I continued to hum the chorus of the song. The flames shot up and clashed with the shell surrounding us. It all shattered revealing the night sky once more. Cast in a red light. I smirked as the shell and the walls broke down because of the flames, eventually leaving nothing in our path. We saw wide open fields. No city or towns in sight. "We've got a lot of ground to cover so lets get moving people!" I shouted clapping my hands loudly. Me and Kokichi ran off in a random direction the others following after us. All moving at incredible speeds.
