Ellie's P.O.V

So, since it's Niall's birthday, Maura and I did some party planning when we sent him out with some friends. Right now he should be on his way back, so we're all hiding. Maura invited a bunch of his friends and family over.

The door creaks open. "Ellie? Mom?" Niall's voice echoes throughout the house. "Surprise!" We all jump out from behind the furniture we had been hiding behind. I run up to him and hug the life out of him. "Happy Birthday." I whisper. The doorbell suddenly rings. Maura runs to open it. "Why Ella? It's been so long." She happily yells, motioning for Niall to come over. Even though I can't see who's at the door, I expect it's one of his friends. Funny. I actually had a friend in America named Ella. But I haven't seen her since Kenzie moved with me to London, with my new step family. Niall motioned for me to meet Ella and I walked over to him.

"No fucking way..." I breathe. "Oh my god." Ella whispers. I run over to her and hug her, just as tight as I hugged Niall earlier. "Do you guys know each other...?" Niall awkwardly stood there watching us hug.

"You look amazing." I ignore Niall's question. "You look extraordinary!" She gawks. "Finally got a boyfriend?" She smirks. "As if!" I laugh. "I was hoping I'd eventually find you here, due to your Irish roots and I'm so happy I finally did!" Ella grins. "Wait... I'm so confused." Niall tries to butt in. "Yes Niall?" I finally acknowledge that he's there. "How do you two know each other?" He asks Ella. "We were best friends until she moved to London." She explains. "Did you know about this?" He asks his mom. She simply shakes her head. "You might want to clean your furniture, Mrs. Horan." Ella smirks. "Why?" Niall interrupts his moms words. "I think these two have been doing the dirty on it." She laughs. As Niall blushes, I open the door. "Out. Now." I try to say with a straight face. But I fail and end up in a fit of giggles. "Why are you blushing Niall?" Ella laughs. "Am not!" He moves his face from his hands. "Yup. Pretty sure these two would do that." She smirks. "Niall James Horan!" Maura scolds and hits his arm. "Mom... We didn't. I swear!" His face was all red. "I know. I was only joking." Maura laughs. "I'm calling Liam." I walk away, slightly embarrassed but not embarrassed enough for it to show. "Ohh... Who's Liam." Ella smirks, following me. "My um... Boyfriend." I lie. "Hey... Do you remember back in 2010 when you were so obsessed and in love with-" I cut her off as Niall walked over, by putting a hand over her mouth. "Ohh." She winks at me.

"Liam?" I say into the phone.
"Hi Ellie!" Louis' voice comes from the other end of the phone line.
"Hi!" Harry yells.
"Hey guys." I smile.
"Louis? Why do you always pick up Liam's phone calls?" I ask.
"I'm Liam in your contacts." I can almost actually hear his smile from over the phone.
"Louis!" I laugh.
"Can I talk to everyone?" I ask, because I haven't heard their voices for a few hours.
"Here." Louis says as there's some shuffling.
"'Hi, love." Harry greets me.
"Hey Harry." I laugh.
"Can I talk to Liam?" I grin.
"Sure. Liam!" He screams.
"What?" Liam's annoyed voice yells.
"Ellie wants to talk to you!" Harry yells again.
"Hey." I say to Liam.
"I miss you." He laughs.
"Niall! Come here." I yell over to the bar. He's probably drunk by now.
"Is he drinking?" Liam's concerned voice asks.
"What do you honestly think, Liam?" I sarcastically ask.
"What's up, babe?" A drunk Niall stumbles over to me.
"Yup... He's drunk." I tell Liam.
"Am not!" He screams.
"Who's screaming!?" Zayn yells in the distance.
"Niall!" Liam answers.
"What!?" Niall snaps.
"Ok Nialler. You're going to bed." I grab his arm and pull him into his room.
"Bye Liam!" I yell.
"Bye. I love you!" He yells back.
"Love you too!" I laugh.

"Hey." Niall tries winking at me but just ends up blinking with both eyes. "Niall. You're drunk. Go to sleep." I complain. He lazily flops onto the bed and starts snoring a few minutes later. "This is gonna be a really bad hangover." I laugh, mostly to myself but also to Niall.
