Lincoln and Lucy look around for the mysterious female voice in the darkness.

???: Do not be afraid... I am merely an ally of you two or... your counterparts of this world.

Out of the shadows comes the mysterious figure revealed to be haiku, or her alternate counterpart. This haiku has longer black hair with one of her eyes concealed and black eye shadow. She was wearing a beautiful black dress with white spider webs designs and black gloves.

Lincoln: Haiku...?

Lucy: Alternate counterpart of Haiku.

Alternate Haiku: Indeed... and I am here to help the both of you.

Lincoln: Do you know what's happening to us with these powers?

Alternate Haiku: Why yes, I do. Did you by any chance find a house in the middle of the forest...?

Lucy: Yes.

Alternate Haiku: That is the secret home of the Lincoln and Lucy of this world. They took refuge there after their family was taken away.

Lincoln: Taken away?!

Lucy: Why...?

Alternate Haiku: Years ago, royal woods here was a very peaceful place, full of various people who wield either light or dark power while others had none of the sort. There was no bad blood between the light and dark users as the leader of light Rita and the leader of darkness Lynn Sr formed a peace treaty to insure no wars between the two sides with the non users in the middle.

Lincoln: Whoa... mom and dad, leaders of light and darkness....?

Lucy: Sigh... wicked.

Alternate Haiku: Indeed, the two then got married and had eleven children each with either light or dark power within themselves. Over time, the thirteen of you all grown to be the powerful light/dark users of all the ones in this world, until one day...

Lucy: What happened...?

Alternate Haiku: The black moon emperor... a warrior of extreme malice and a heart of pure evil. He seeks to claim royal woods and the whole land as his kingdom. He is greedy for power and would stop at nothing to get it, the emperor would unleash his devastating black reaper army upon royal woods, capturing any light or dark users that could serve him or perish by his hand if anyone would rise up to challenge him.

Lincoln: Oh man....

Alternate Haiku: The leaders of light and darkness, Rita and Lynn Sr took on the emperor and his army. Though they fought valiantly and honorably... Rita and Lynn Sr were ultimately defeated by the black moon emperor and taken away.

Lucy: Gasp...

Alternate Haiku: The Loud Siblings of this world went into hiding... but each time, the black moon emperor's forces would find them at each term, they all fought and resisted but in the end... the louds of light and darkness were captured and taken away... except for your alternate counterparts.

Lincoln and Lucy: ......

Alternate Haiku: Your two counterparts narrowly escaped with their lives and went into the forest, they build a house within the forest as Lucy made a cloak barrier around their home as those two remained undetected by the black moon emperor and his army... the two would train in secret, focusing their powers in mind, body and soul as they were the guardians, anti-heroes if you will... of light and darkness.

Lincoln: Whoa...

Lucy: Wicked. But wait, Alternate Mr. Grouse said that our alternate selves perished in this world, how?

Alternate Haiku: Sigh... four years later, your two counterparts stormed the empire, they basically destroyed half the emperor's kingdom and army. Soon, both of them faced the black moon emperor in grand combat, equally powerful but your two counterparts managed to turn the tides, nearly winning the bout but... the emperor had a trick, he used a dark magic amulet on your alternate selves, draining them of their powers, infusing it into him. Though powerless, Alternate Lincoln and Lucy didn't back down as they fought to their last breaths... both perished by the emperor's hand.

Lincoln and Lucy had shocked looks.

Lincoln: I can't believe it...

Lucy: Sigh...

Alternate Haiku: Yeah but now it seems that my spell has brought you here as our hopes have been answered.

Lincoln: Wait... you brought us here?

Alternate Haiku: Yes, I already know that you went and ran away from home because you were afraid that you will never amount of anything and wanted to find something you're good at... to see that your family will be proud of you, am I right?

Lincoln: I... you... yeah..

Alternate Haiku: And you went with him because you were afraid that you would never see him again...?

Lucy: Sigh... it's true, he's my big brother, I didn't want to part with him...

Alternate Haiku: Then maybe you can find something you're good at here and maybe you two can be something great as you two found the orbs of dark & light, being infused within you both. Avenge your counterparts, free their family, friends and all that are in the grasp of the black moon emperor's tyranny... become the guardians of light and darkness...

Lincoln and Lucy stared at alternate haiku and then at each other, thinking about it. This haiku was the reason why they were brought here and after hearing what's been happening here, maybe they can be the guardians of this world, to avenge their counterparts, save their family and this world of the black moon emperor forever.

Lincoln: I'm in...

Lucy: So am I...

Alternate Haiku slightly smiles.

Alternate Haiku: Thank you... (Forms a portal of darkness) Come, we have much to do...

Lincoln and Lucy looked at the portal then at each other and nodded as the two siblings went through it. Alternate Haiku was lost in her thoughts before entering the portal herself.

Alternate Haiku: They're more than just counterparts... they're like the reincarnations of the late Lincoln and Lucy of this world. Hopefully, these two will make a difference and become the protectors of this world. And maybe someday, I can tell this lincoln about.... 'Us'.

Alternate Haiku blushed a bit as she went through the portal with it closing behind them.
