Lincoln and Lucy stared at the sign and this town believed to be royal woods except... it doesn't look like the town they once lived in!

Lincoln: royal woods... it can't be!

Lucy: Lincoln... I think this is royal woods but not the home we've left behind...

Lincoln: what're you saying?

Lucy: sigh.... I'm saying that the crystal ball formed into a portal which sucked us in, transporting us an alternate version of our world.

Lincoln: so another universe then?

Lucy: yep.

Lincoln: well... officially my mind is blowned.

The two siblings walked through the town while getting some disturbed, unsettling looks, scared glances or heated/cold glares from the town's population.

Lincoln: sheesh, why are they staring at us like we committed a crime?

Lucy shrugged.

Lucy: sigh... I don't know...

Then as lincoln and lucy kept walking through the town, the townspeople were muttering and whispering among the crowd while their stares were on lincoln and lucy.

Lincoln: the stares are starting to get annoying.

Lucy: sigh.... Let's ask someone for answers.

The two siblings walk towards an old man dressed in black suited clothing and he looked a lot like Mr. Grouse.

Lincoln: excuse me, sir.

The old man turn to them, surprising the two siblings.

Lincoln: Mr. Grouse?

Mr. Grouse(?): Huh? What the?! You two?! What are you doing here?!

Lucy: that's what we like to know... you see-

Mr. Grouse(?): begone spirits! You're not welcomed here!

Lincoln: wait, spirits? What are you talking about?

Lucy: as exciting as it would be to be a spirit, I'm afraid that we are not among the dead...

Mr. Grouse(?): don't give me that rubbish, dark user! You and the light user over here should be dead!

Lincoln and lucy: (shocked) Dead...?

Mr. Grouse(?): yeah! You two perished against the black moon emperor and his army 4 years ago, trying to fight for all light, dark and non users freedom!

Lincoln: light and dark users?

Lucy: black moon emperor?

Mr. Grouse(?): why are you acting like you don't know what I'm talking about?! You two were our only hope and-

Mr. Grouse(?) was cut off when four men appeared out of the darkness in black cloaks with white curved designs all over, skeletal masks and carrying black spear-like weapons with white curved designs. Two of them grabbed Mr. Grouse(?) and dragged him into the shadows, much to lincoln and lucy's shock.

Mr. Grouse(?) Hey! Let me go! I didn't do anything wrong! Don't take me away, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo-oooooooooo......

His loud cries for help slowly died down as Mr. Grouse(?) and the two cloaked men disappeared. Lincoln and Lucy turn around to see the other two cloaked men staring down at them grimly.

Cloaked figure: it's them... but they look different, how are they alive? Didn't the emperor kill these two 4 years ago...?

Cloaked figure 2: maybe... maybe not, we'll just bring these two to the emperor and hopefully he'll promote us for sure.

Lincoln and Lucy didn't like the sound of that.

Lincoln: lucy... RUN!!!!

The two siblings then ran past the two cloaked men as they went through the city with the cloaked men chasing after them.

Cloaked figure: get back here!!

Lincoln: what is going on?!

Lucy: from what we were told, we're dead...

Lincoln: but we're not dead, we're right here! What was grouse talking about?!

Lucy: one, that was an alternate version of Mr. Grouse and two, He told us that we... well, our alternate selves perished in this world.

Lincoln: I can't believe this, we're dead in this world?!

Lucy: most likely, yes. But-Gasp!

Lucy noticed that lincoln had a bright white glow around him.

Lucy: Lincoln... you're glowing.

Lincoln: huh? (Stopped in his tracks and noticed the white glow around his body) ok... this is weird!

The two cloaked men were gaining on them. Lincoln started to glow brighter with white light.

Lincoln: what's going on?!

Lucy: (shields herself) so.... much... light...

The light engulfed them both as the cloaked men caught up with them but as the light faded away, the cloaked men noticed that lincoln and lucy were nowhere to be found.

Cloaked figure: damn it!

Cloaked figure 2: let's alert the emperor.

The two disappeared in darkness.

Narrator: meanwhile with lincoln and lucy....

Soon, a bright white appeared out of nowhere for a moment until it disappeared and revealed lincoln and lucy in some kind of dark room.

Lincoln: what the? Where are we?!

Lucy: you... teleported us here...

Lincoln: I did?

Lucy: you were glowing Lincoln.

Lincoln: wow... (noticed his hands glowing white aura) this is freaky yet awesome at the same time.

Lucy then looks at her hands, seeing black aura engulfing them.

Lucy: gasp!

Lincoln: what is going here?!

Lucy: I'm not sure... but from what the alternate Mr. Grouse told us was that we or at least our alternate selves perished in this world in a war against the black moon emperor, who has enslaved the people of this world, including ones called light users and dark users.

Lincoln: yeah, he mentioned that but it does this mean for us now with these powers?

Then a female voice spoke in the darkness, getting lincoln and lucy's attention.

???: it means that you two are the next guardians... the next anti-heroes of light and darkness to rid of us the black moon emperor and to bestow freedom upon light, dark and non users of this world once more...
